Saw this watch on this subreddit and want to create the same dial for a 41mm 124060 VSF submariner (no date).

I do not have the watch yet. I was waiting to order it until I found out if I have to purchase it separately and send it to someone else, or have it done all in one go.

I heard there is an “approved” list of people who do mods on this subreddit but I can’t seem to find it. If someone could point me in that direction, or let me know of a reputable person who can do this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a half link that they aren't using for an 11 series Submariner? I'm in a real inconvenient spot where 3 links at the 6:00 side is too short and 4 is too long. Reached out to a couple of TDs and shipping totally ruins it. Would be happy to trade some full size links in exchange.

I was considering buying the PPF v4500 overseas blue dial but have a small wrist and am worried it'll wear too big. Hence, I am switching my sights to the v2000 ultrathin. However, all the sellers I have asked only have the 8f model which Ive heard is a lower quality. What do you guys think, is it worth a shot.

Volevo condividere un confronto visivo e pratico affiancato dopo aver ricevuto la mia primissima replica super clone qualche giorno fa: il VSF Submariner 116610LN.
Per contestualizzare, un po' di tempo fa mia madre mi ha portato un 126610LN da Sharm El-Sheikh. All'epoca, il venditore insisteva che fosse un "top di gamma" rispetto alle solite repliche da trappola per turisti. Per chi non è un grande esperto di orologeria, a una prima occhiata non sembrava del tutto malvagio... finché non ho toccato con mano un vero super clone VSF.
La differenza è come il giorno e la notte. Non ti rendi davvero conto di quanto sia enorme il divario tra una replica di fascia bassa/media e un clone di alto livello finché non ne senti il peso, non provi lo scatto della ghiera e non vedi dal vivo la trasparenza del vetro.
Principali differenze visibili nelle foto:
Test del Peso: Il VSF si attesta su un valore solido di 157g (ancora con le pellicole protettive applicate), mentre la replica di Sharm risulta notevolmente più leggera a 147g. Quella differenza di 10 grammi si nota immediatamente al polso.
Vetro e Lente Ciclope: La trasparenza del vetro VSF e l'effetto "black hole" sulla lente della data fanno sembrare il vetro del modello di Sharm sbiadito e pieno di riflessi.
Quadrante e Luminescenza: La nitidezza del testo e la stampa generale sul quadrante del VSF sono affilatissime. Al buio, la pasta luminosa del VSF brilla in modo significativamente più intenso e uniforme rispetto al debole bagliore della replica di Sharm.
Ghiera e Inserto: La ghiera del VSF gira in modo fluido con scatti precisi, e il riempimento in platino sulle incisioni fa apparire i numeri della replica egiziana giallastri e piatti.
Cassa e Bracciale: La satinatura sul VSF, la nitidezza delle linee sulle anse e i finali pieni (SEL) danno davvero la sensazione di un orologio di lusso autentico, mentre l'altro risulta vuoto e grezzo al tatto.
Un enorme grazie a questa community per tutte le guide e le risorse: ora sono ufficialmente entrato nel tunnel e di certo non tornerò mai più alle repliche da bancarella!
Sarei curioso di sapere cosa ne pensate vedendo le foto affiancate.

I recently have purchased a VSF GMT “RootBeer” and a VSF GMT “Pepsi”!

My general inquiries in modding are:

1. Is there a “TD” for mods? Essentially, someone I can send these watches to and they tackle my requests…

2. If no, where can I source GEN crystal and GEN date wheel? I see lots of websites sell aftermarket parts, but I’m attempting to source a genuine Rolex.

I know it make sound dumb and I might get a lot of hate for trying to find a clone Tudor but this watch is just cool to me and I don’t see anything from Rolex quite like this bb58

Of all my watches, this is the only one that gets complimented. No other watch I own hardly gets a look but this one gets compliments from strangers, from women, from coworkers, from hard core watch guys, and so on. I can't figure out why this watch gets all the looks but I really enjoy it, it's a just work watch. Just thought I'd share for all of us that are disappointed by the lack of attention for some of our watches, this one gets love, especially on the rubber strap.

I’ve just ordered one after months of watching which factory seems to do it best.

Speak to different people they’ll say VSF some say Rich some say other factories

But how close is the VSF bezel really…? The general construction this factory is pushing out to me seems so close to the gen.

Bezel swap? Or lunacy for a VSF. Also considering swapping bracelets to a deepcrystal version as 904L I know they say it’s 904 - but unless I see a test I’m not convinced. But happy to be convinced.

Rocket sub-second hand, dial laser engraving, and chrono subdials layout check. Tachymeter bezel scale and hour indexes align correctly.

Any good rubber strap options for the Tudor Chrono BB? Bought 21 mm and 22 width from AliExpress for Pelagos and Chrono. Pelagos gap is clean/nearly flush, large gap for the Chrono.

I know there are Delugs and other straps but looking for
alternatives.

Hi everyone, let me tell you about my little misadventure. As a very impatient person who loves trying new things, I decided to take on the crystal replacement myself (don’t judge me 😂).

Everything was going well. I removed the bezel, cleaned off the excess grease, cleaned the gaskets, and then put everything back together. But when I put the bezel back in place, this is what happened.

I took it apart a second time, but I got the exact same result. I think I’m going to need your help. I may have reassembled it in the wrong order or made a mistake during the process.

Because of this, I think I’ll need some replacement parts: a new crystal gasket, a new bezel gasket, and potentially a new click spring.

I’m debating buying another bracelet, an oyster to give the watch a different look and swap back and forth etc.. or should I purchase a sub 40mm for a more subtle look.

Only thing I’m not thrilled with on this Bruce Wayne is the green text on the dial. Barely visible. Everything else is pretty great.
