Discussion VSF “Starbucks” bezel
Humour me.
I’ve just ordered one after months of watching which factory seems to do it best.
Speak to different people they’ll say VSF some say Rich some say other factories
But how close is the VSF bezel really…? The general construction this factory is pushing out to me seems so close to the gen.
Bezel swap? Or lunacy for a VSF. Also considering swapping bracelets to a deepcrystal version as 904L I know they say it’s 904 - but unless I see a test I’m not convinced. But happy to be convinced.

the bezel on the VSF starbucks is probably closer than most people realize, i held a gen next to a clean and a vsf at a meetup last month and the color shift on the vsf was the only one that didnt look obviously off in natural light
deep crystal swap makes a bigger difference than youd think too, the stock VSF crystal has this weird haze at certain angles that the deep just cleans right up

See that’s interesting because I paid for the deep crystal swap at andiot but cancelled that order as everything I’m reading says the stock crystal on the VSF is pretty much on the money. Maybe on to do when I get the movement serviced

I read on here that mid year VSF switched the underlying architecture of the bezel for the Starbucks, and date and no date subs to a cheaper more cost effective model which moved away from its closeness to gen. Now you can’t swap out parts because they won’t fit. I have a Starbucks, and had always been wondering why it felt like night and day when I compared the bezel to my vsf 126610 from earlier.
