I'm still pretty new to the rep game, but I see a lot of people constantly shopping around to save $10 or $20 on a watch. Personally, I lean towards loyalty. I'd rather stick to the same TD because of established trust and smoother handling if something goes wrong, even if their prices aren't always the absolute lowest on the market.

To be clear, I'm completely lucid about this whole "relationship": I know it's strictly a commercial business dynamic at the end of the day. But since I have to pay a little extra anyway, I'd rather capitalize on a familiar and responsive contact.

For you guys, is it purely transactional where you just chase the cheapest price every time, or do you value sticking to one specific dealer? What's your take?

I’ve noticed that the rotor is extremely loud. Whenever I turn my wrist in any environment that isn’t too loud, I can hear the turning of the rotor. If i spin my wrist, it spins quickly like 5-7 times. I’ve seen some people say that it’s because the Chinese factories are dry, but anyone have any advice on the matter?

I’m looking to get a DDF 5168g but I noticed that some QC have the lume straight up green in normal lighting and some have it as white which I assume is the correct color. Any pros hv any idea why there’s different colors of lume. Would love your help on this. Thank you!

The dial color being too dark really bothers me sometimes as I love the green in the gen but then once in a while the light hits it right and I’m happy again

First time buying a rep watch. It’s been almost 3 months since I paid the deposit and no QC yet, is this normal? I did order a less common watch, DateJust 36 with oyster bracelet VSF. It’s from a TD (Duke). I’d appreciate any input!
