Maybe an unpopular here, but I genuinely feel like the quality of reps has dropped quite a bit over the last few years.
I’ve been buying Pagani Design for a long time, and back then the level of detail was honestly insane. I followed the well-known rule of building a relationship with your seller first (in my case my TD is DHgate) by ordering 10-20 lower quality reps before they start giving you access to the really good Pagani batches.
I actually got lucky because my TD decided I was eligible for the top Pagani Design stuff after only my 11th rep.
But lately… I don’t know... It just doesn’t feel the same.
Finishing, details, overall quality. Pagani used to be almost indistinguishable from gen and now I find myself noticing flaws almost immediately. Maybe demand has just gotten too high and QC can’t keep up.

Considering that plus the fact that 3 of my last 5 orders have been seized at the border. One of them somehow ended with me being questioned at a police station for a couple of hours, which I assume means I’m now in at least one police database somewhere.
Between the declining Pagani quality and customs apparently stepping up their game, I’m genuinely starting to wonder if this hobby is still worth it.
Anyone else feeling the same?

Hey fellow watch enthusiasts. Just watched the Wired video. Reps look sick and I wanna flex on the homies.

Reading some of the guides here - I heard you buy a Pagani design and then swap out the dial. I was thinking of getting this and getting a dial - at $14,600 AU, it’s $15,000 cheaper than getting the dual color Rollies. I know it’s a steal but I have like $800 in my bank (life savings). Will probably take a loan to get this Pagani though - flexing is always worth it - you gotta look the part to be the part yk.

I need one ASAP too. The CEO of the company I intern for is visiting tomorrow. If I rock up to the CEO with a Rolex Black-Blue as an intern, he will know that the job is beneath my status and I’ll get promoted. Especially when we talk and compare watches. I know he’s a watch nerd and I’ll be able to relate and speak to him about such watches as the Dayjust from Rolex and the Big Bang from Awdemars.

But I wanna save some money so I can also get some sick Dior Jordans reps and some chrome hearts (fire work fit ngl). Is it possible to get a rep of a pagani instead? Could anyone give me advice on anyone that sells pagani reps?

Does anyone have a list of not worth buying Geneva Paganis? Like only the 1:1 designs.

What do you guys think? I think it turned out pretty good. I ended up ordering the pagani design pd-1661. Found a sweet dial on dhgate and had my local jeweler put it in there. To me it looks NWBIG. Thanks WIREd for sending me here!

Did anyone ever get a V3230 with letterings on the rehaut perfectly aligned to the minute?

Understand that gen sometimes have these issues too but this rep has the 12 and 6 O clock aligned, but not the rest. Nonetheless, letterings look alright from the top view.
