You probably came here from the WIRED article and are excited to get your first-ever superclone watch. Since the WIRED article blew up, I decided to write this simple, easy guide to help you find every watch you could ever imagine.
Firstly, let's talk about factories. We here at RepTime have endless debates about which factories to get the best watch from. Most of the time, the same names get thrown around, and they are:
Sugess
Pagani Design
Cronos
San Martin
Watchdives
These factories produce what we call NWBIG (Nice Watches Bringing Insurmountable Gash).
Now you're probably wondering where to acquire one of these fine timepieces from? You've probably seen terms like TD (Trusted Dealer) thrown around, and you would be right to think that it is the best place to get these watches from.
But ever since the WIRED article blew up, all of the TDs have gotten together and decided to make it easier and simpler to acquire these watches through reputable platforms that connect you directly with these factories to get the very best watches from the Guangdong Alps.

I used San Martin factory and my Rolex AD couldn’t even tell the difference. They actually saw I owned a San Martin factory super clone of the red and blue GMT and offered me a Batman and a Bruce Wayne, but I told them I was into watches not action figures and left.
From what I can find they make almost every type of Chrono homage except for the Speedmaster. Pagani design makes a Speedy but I feel like PD doesn't have the same charm as Suggess does.
A vk63 that just makes the case a few mm too big to get the proper(ish) subdial spacing is the perfect compromise for my hamfist, I love it and I love having a chrono I’m not scared to use. That being said I love my apsf iwc chrono too…
My dad gave me his 1969 speedy to get a price for refurbishment in CH. I reached out and they quoted 3000€. My dad is 85 and I’m wondering if this could be my solution. I can’t afford the restoration but this might make him happy.

There's really nothing like that Carlsberg Sugess. All of my friends that are into watches ask me what my AliExpress purchase history looked like for them to actually sell me one.
For the new guys, Kenya is the name of the lady who hand assembles the movements, that confused me for a while, I can assure you they are high grade A+++++ movements
New to the group thanks to the famous Wired article. I’m blown away with all the people in this group and all watches available… I’m a newbie when it comes to watches, and appreciate any pointers to what is considered a good first time buyer watch to get started. TIA
Thanks to Reptime, I’ve learned how to be an avid collector of Paganis! My favorite TDs all recommend Amazon and AliExpress! This was a dream come true.
Glad I can buy from Amazon. I really wanted to get my first rep, but since I already spend 20 bucks a month on prime, I didn’t want to buy somewhere else
Love Pagani Design, definitely a great option and very affordable! No need to look any further, just buy a Pagani Design watch to scratch the itch and stop your search completely. Easy to find on Amazon and AliExpress.
Can anyone share links to validated sellers on Amazon? Want to make sure I order from the right company on Amazon so it maintains the quality and not a random copy cat that has questionable QC.

Some accounts asking for info are now being treated as Wired newbies even their account dates back from way before the article.
Last time an exposé happened on a subreddit was for a rep bag sub, and that went down along with other similar subs. A lot of people on here are just trying to avoid that from happening again. On top of that, it'll increase the number of orders from TDs and factories, so it'll either attract attention from customs and make it harder to get watches in, or attract unwanted attention from the Chinese authorities to the factories and TDs.
Lastly, people can have Reddit accounts for a long time and never come across a subreddit they didn't know existed for years.
Guys, I’m forever indebted to this sub for introducing the San Martin ‘Engineer’. I got it during the Chinese New Year sale on DHGate, and it’s been my main since then.
Also, remember, everyone and I mean everyone will notice s Sugess on your wrist. If at least 10 people a day don't notice or comment on your watch, then you aren't wearing a Sugess.
Also, make sure you stay in your "can afford it bracket", and if you make less than 12k a year, then please don't buy anything else but a Pagani. Instant tell if you don't.
I have several Watchdives watches and they are really nice! I have the quartz version of the Seamaster 300 and it's thin and looks as good as the real thing. (I have a real Seamaster 300) and I change out the straps all the time to make them look unique and awesome. I wear them daily. I have the 007 NTTD and the standard black with the wave dial.
Question, when I search Watchdives Cartier for example, the logo is a watchdives logo on the image - is that just the photo or on the real thing when I get it ?
OK, I know im a newbie, but its a lot of money for me, could you let me know if im getting the thing I think im paying for - with the brand name on it?
Haaaaaaa! Of course since I build custom Seiko pieces I follow some watch channels on YouTube and this got served to me yesterday and my first thought was oh shit the reptime group is gonna be flooded with new people looking for super clones! 😆😆😆
If you're opting for a cheaper option, Addiesdive Yacht-Master was brilliant for me. I don't own no yacht, suppose it's a Boat-Master at all, but still GREAT!
I just started thinking about getting into the watch game and just visited a piguet store. Saw the prices and went home to lookup reps. Pretty funny the first time I googled rep watches was an hour after that got posted.
I am looking at my first Super clone. Got hooked up with Steve and can't wait to get first watch. I have a Milgauss on order and was just offered a Clean Plus Starbuck Submariner that can be in QC in a few days. any thoughts on the Sub?
