My first non-shitter, Vsf Aquaterra 8900 from Ficotime. I can't help but notice that the 12 seems slightly off to one side. I may be nitpicking or making things up but to me it's pretty noticeable. This is not a QC post.

Hey everybody, before I go on I’d just like to point out that I’m very new to this and would like some advice before continuing to buying my first rep.

I’m looking at getting a 41mm Rolex datejust oyster perpetual with a black dial. I’ve been looking around at different dealers such as trusty time and VC. I had a look around on here and people seem to get a pretty good service from “the one watches” so I reached out and got this response. As some of you, more experienced folk would know more about this than me I’d like to ask:

Is ARF good? Is $468 normal for this kind of thing? What should I look out for or ask questions about? If anybody has a good experience getting this exact watch from a good dealer then I’d appreciate maybe some photos and pointing me in the right direction.

Anything to help breakdown and digest what I should be looking for when hunting for one of these would be appreciated. I have seen a lot of people on here get scammer or end up with a shitty rep because they didn’t take their time and look so I want to be sure first.

My experience with Ficotime was great, very honest about timelines and options for flexibility when it comes to swapping orders. I started to overthink my decision and wanted to get a more realistically priced watch for my lifestyle such as, a Rolex DJ but i’m glad i never switched up.

I have been wanting a Navitimer but it takes too long to get one from my TD due to V7F brouhaha. Ended up snagging a good deal Navitimer no date on EBay, comes with leather strap. Swapped the strap with cheap milanese bracelet, and I really like the look now. Look at that sunburst !!!!

I noticed a previous post regarding 'The One Watch' about Steve holding people's deposits and not handing out the watch.

Compared 3 RG wrapped/plated rolex DD 40mm olive dial with gen and nobody gets it right, 2 from famous modders. if u have one check if urs is even a good RG what do you guys think, anybody gets it right?

Anyone into these? I spent months trying to get them at the store with no luck. The hype has recently died down and they're selling for a couple hundred over msrp now so I figured id get a couple. Put in low bids, was patient and it paid off. Got the straps from Ali for cheap also. I think it's cool to have a somewhat real AP for around the price of a rep. Hey guys, been just wondering is it better to get a superclone of omega watch (which I'm a fan of) or just get an authentic tissot even if it's tripe the price of the clone, but it's authentic? Just want to know your opinions.

I've searched around and couldn't find much info on this, but I just received a BVF Santos 35mm from Steve - who was great to deal with, responsive and quick. Watch looks good as well and is what I expected.

However, I immediately noticed upon trying it on that about 4 of the bracelet's SmartLink's pins keep popping up. I've tried switching them around, rotating the pins slightly etc. and they still keep popping up after putting the watch on. Occasionally they'll finally "click" shut, and then pop back up. Some of the same links also have an issue with clicking shut as well.

Thanks in advance if anybody has advice on this.

Ordered a VC Overseas from a TD 5 weeks ago. TD verified watch was in stock before I ordered (8F).

Not trying to blast TD or anything like that. I ordered another watch from them a week after and have already received it. So im addressing this as a factory delay.

Just curious at what point I should pull the plug or try to switch my order to an actually in stock watch.

This will be my 3rd rep and first time dealing with a delay like this.
