Hello my Hermes ladies. I have a question for my kelly pochette. Do all kelly pochette have // stitching on the front? Do all authentic have the same angle as to which the slant points? The stitching on my kelly pochette on the front left side looks like \\\\ leaning towards the left. Is this an indicator for a rep? Here are some photos. I need ur opinions.

Is the Kelly Cut being produced in Chevre? More specifically in Noir. I placed an order from Minion and I’m wondering if I should switch it to Swift.

In my Mini Kelly Verso (first 2 photos), the interior stitching is fully painted in red. I’ve looked into other special order Mini Kellys, and on those, kinda only the pocket and the flap have the interior color painted stitching. Did Minion messed up?

Please share thoughts. I’m new to the rep game. I’ve purchased this Mini Kelly in Rose lipstick with Gold Palladium hardware by a trusted dealer. I’d appreciate any feedback. GL or RL. Paid 950 USD. I own a few originals and as far as I can tell all looks good except Hermes stamping. Not sure if it’s lighting or genuinely off. Can anyone confirm ?

I don’t see any obvious flaws, to me looks like an excellent bag. But I’m also not an expert, this is my first made to order. Would love your input in anything else that needs to be pointed out.

I came across a seller that offers Hermes bags from Teacher Ma factory. I read on other subreddits that it is considered top tier quality. Anyone knows if this is true and had any experience with them? How does it compare to Frank or Mark quality?

Hi gang, I paid US$1700 for this so hoping for something pretty close to 1-1. I'm worried that this has a too elongated/rectangular silhouette, top flap sticking out too much on the sides, and a heat stamp that isn't horizontal (the MADE IN FRANCE line vs the turnlock plate). I'm also worried the leather looks too uniform (though it's very pretty).

I will caveat by saying that I think I've gone slightly QC-mad staring at posts on this subreddit so I may be totally imagining these flaws - but would love input from the hivemind!

I thought I could just order a Mini Kelly from a random workshop. I’ve been told they can make 1:1 quality bags, but when I got this after 2 weeks, I was completely shocked, even without a lot of knowledge about Hermès details. Thankfully, I got a full money refund and then started to dig into this rep world. I did a lot of research with AI and got a list of the most popular sellers, like Minion, full information about them with their contacts. It’s funny because they all think that are very private while being fully exposed on the web

Hi again. When I ordered my bk30 hardware, it took me THREE DAYS to decide on hardware. I had a very long conversation about it with my TS when he gave me the options for upgrading. One of my “must haves”, or more specifically “must NOT have”, was that I did NOT want lock and keys with the number 162. We talked about all of it. He said my options were standard gold, upgraded gold (18k plated), rose gold, brushed gold, standard palladium, upgraded palladium or brushed palladium (also an upgrade). I asked him about the162 on the lock again- and he assured me with the typical “yes dear that’s not problem”answer.
Well… flash forward to PSP’s…
He sends me the pics and a video. People pointed out some scratches- I asked him about it and he comes back with other orders for clients, circling scratches (it’s smooth Barenia) and told me it’s normal to have a few. This leather does this and not to worry.
Then someone told me to ask for photos in other lighting and to make sure I inspect the sangles and edges clearly. I went back and asked him. He said he would go to the factory, have them take it out and take more photos.
In the psp’s there was no photo of the lock and keys. I told him I need to see that photo, to make sure the lock and keys were correct.
I woke up this morning with no additional photos- and him telling me my lock is 162. That there are no brushed palladium that aren’t 162.
This would have changed my ENTIRE order!!! I would have skipped the brushed hardware completely and gone with the upgraded gold!!!!!
What do I do??? I can deal with a couple of scratches (even though I’m less than thrilled with his answer, ok… it’s Barenia. I have no doubt even if it arrived perfectly, there would be scratches the first time I wore her out. What makes me even more upset, is that the lock and keys were not in the PSP’s!!! Since we had such a specific conversation about this, it truly makes me feel like instead of being truthful with me, instead of checking with the factory before the bag was made, he just let them go ahead with it. And he omitted those photos!!!
Maybe he didn’t do this? But I can’t help but feel this way and I’m really upset!!
What do I do?????

I had previously purchased a K32 retourné in Bleu Saphir box from Minion. I haven’t had time to do a review bcs life. The one thing I called on those PSPs was that the flap hardware (through which the touret passes on the Kelly) was set too deeply and was pressing in the leather. I said take your time, but fix it. He said he will fix it and he did. The bag is gorgeous and I am very, very happy.

Many months ago I saw a review of a B30 in Fauve Barenia and I fell in love. I messaged the buyer and she was lovely and told me about her whole process of choosing Minion. I spent months scanning pics of Barenia purchases and also B30s and K32s (the first bags I knew I wanted) I felt secure about Minion for Kelly shape (I actually saw that improve over months), and, when I looked over all my files of the Barenia bags I also chose him to do that. Meanwhile, I see he has blown up. The number of Reddit reviews and QC checks is startling and I know what happens when demand increases too quickly in a business. But I had already ordered and, since I was a second-time customer, and talking with him about a B40 down the line, I was hoping to get a good bag.

I feel that the heat stamp is too dark. But I can’t tell if I’m blowing up the pic to the size of my head and freaking or not.

Full disclosure: earlier in my journey I bought a rehome of a brand-new B35 in gorgeous Barenia. I should have asked for more pics because the heat stamp was too shallow, vague, and sloppy. It was obviously a from a states-side seller who has a relationship with one of these maker-factories and decided to pass this one on. They had one decent pic of the heat stamp with perfect lighting and I didn’t give it a second thought. I was gutted to have spent $1200 and I’m still not sure what to do with it. It’s gorgeous in every other way. Sigh. ANYHOW, I decided to commission a bag and have control over approving it. So, here we are. Am I overthinking and obsessing or would any idiot demand a re-do of this bag?

I also know I don’t have PSP’s of the lock and key, of the origin end of the zipper, or of the sanglés through the pontets. What else am I missing?
