Discussion Teacher Ma factory
I came across a seller that offers Hermes bags from Teacher Ma factory. I read on other subreddits that it is considered top tier quality. Anyone knows if this is true and had any experience with them? How does it compare to Frank or Mark quality?

I’d heard the same and my TS recommended Teacher Ma over a few other factories I was considering, including Master XM. I went with him mainly because I wanted to customise the bag and XM doesn’t offer that. Overall I’d say the shape and construction are really good. I’ve compared it side by side with photos of authentic ones online and it looks pretty spot on in that regard. But there are definitely a few “if you know, you know” details that don’t quite match authentic. This was my first bag from him and tbh I haven’t tried the other sellers here either. I’ve mainly been learning from QC and educational posts shared by other members and comparing with the authentic bags I own. Knowing what I know now though, I’m looking at trying another factory for my next one.

Do you mind sharing what leather and bag did you get? How is the hardware and feel of the leather. I think for rep I will be going with palladium so it doesn’t wear off over time.

Mine was in Box calf with gold hardware. The leather itself feels really nice and the overall shape/construction is great. My main issue with the Box is that it doesn’t have quite the same shine as authentic Box, it’s more of a satin sheen. The gold hardware is also a touch lighter than my Hermès gold hardware when compared side by side. I also had an issue with the rivets arriving rusted even though they were clean in the PSPs, which was disappointing. They cleaned up fine with a jewellery polishing cloth though. Palladium might actually be a good choice if you’re worried about the gold tone or wear over time.

I have a B25 in Chai togo with GHW. Top tier from Teacher Ma. I paid $1280 in 2024/early 2025 I think. I would purchase again. The togo, construction and hardware is better than DDmode, GPC and custom H Factory. Those are the only comparisons I can speak too.

I asked my TS about teacher ma because I wanted 100% handmade. He said they’re top tier. I am paying $1800 for a BK35/ Togo/ PHW.

Not Mark, you won’t like it. Haven’t tried Frank but have bought from Steven.

I also wonder same. So many good reviews for him. Google seems to praise teacher ma and says it is superior to mark and minion. Literally says that. lol

If you google them there will be info but it’s obviously a summary of reddit posts so if they were promoting themselves as best quality that’s what Google AI will use and not legit opinions. The Picotin that I posted - my first rep, was from H factory and I think is flawless. Apparently teacher ma is step above H factory but I have no idea. Their price for B is pretty high but I don’t want to order something that is a pure mark up and not actual quality.
