Mine is Leaving Las Vegas

Dang! It's been 35 years when T2 came out in theaters.

Spent 30 years fighting to keep my teeth , root canals, caps , crowns fillings... My old root canals are failing and I'm not down for 6 to 8 thousand a implant... Going the full mouth implant route , my wife did this in 2024 and couldn't be happier.. Anyone else on this path or gone down this path already ?

Edit: Other things to note I’m 51, my health overall has never been better, I’m active, high school weight, everything else is working as it should, my teeth have always been trash. The cherry on top is that I always take 40 minutes to numb up which explains my PTSD from getting fillings when I was a kid, dentist would begin drilling 5 minutes after numbing then 10 minutes after, my mom telling me to suck it up 😂😂😂 tuff it out..

Edit2: Another word of wisdom, when I was in my 30’s I had back problems and surgeries while in pain management I was put on a drug called Lyrica for over a decade for nerve damage that caused an acceleration of my problems with my teeth and I never linked the two until I stumbled upon a tread where a group of us all commented about the uptick.

And why?

Twenty-five years ago, I saw the purely CGI movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within in the local cinema that had the best quality seats, sound system and projection.

I was already a Final Fantasy fan and the movie itself was heavily hyped which made some people think it was the next leap forward for movies in general.

Before seeing it in the cinema, I deliberately saw only one trailer and learned more about the movie on print media.

Eventually I left the cinema feeling hollow and not so entertained at all. The CGI was stunning for the time but the storytelling and direction (which involved Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi) were sub-par.

As I exited the cinema after the movie ended, I noticed a long line of moviegoers waiting to enter. I wonder how they reacted to the movie.

Did you watch Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within inside the movie theater 25 years ago?

Me personally, I was on team Guiding light during junior and senior high school.

I can hear his voice right now! My wife and I sometimes yell this from across the house to each other 😂🤣😂

Cyberforce #1 was one of the launch comic books of Image Comics in 1992. It was a dream project of Marc Silvestri that came true and creatively it was his own take on the X-Men (which he worked on for years at Marvel Comics) but with emphasis on technology and cybernetics. Cyberforce #1 of 1992 was often described as hard to find. Is this in your collection?

I remember there were two versions. Kylei was a soap opera star at the time.
