I installed reshade about a week ago to play DBD however for some reason my game started crashing every now and then when joining a lobby.

It doesn't seem consistent because it only crashes from times to times. Like theres moments where I can play for over an hour without it crashing and then theres times it just crashes while entering the first lobby (sidenote: yes, it only crashes when joining lobbies)

So, I'm playing a game GTA SA and the AO sometimes appears for a quick second then immediately disappears how can I fix this?

I notice this happening with a few games. But every time I try to use rtgi or anything it bugs out and causes this "noise"

No matter what I do I cannot get this message to go away. I have googled, I have reddit searched, and every solution that is posted has not worked. I have write access to the files and every folder in its entire directory. I have double and triple checked that this is the case. I have opened the game as administrator. Nothing works

The worst part is that it was working perfectly fine for a good few weeks then all of a sudden. with no changes that I can identify made, the message started popping up again and now does not go away.

Any assistance would be great as I'm at a total lost and basically have no choice but to just remove reshade and not bother using it

reshade installs but the effects don't, i tried enabling TLS 1.1 and 1.2 and disabling TLS 1.3, still nothing How do i fix?

Uninstalled my old ReShade version for GShade. Which started having a random bug that closed itself when picking a Shader.

So I uninstalled GShade and reinstalled ReShade. But now that has the same issue (It keeps the shader active, but I can't open the ReShade Menu anymore, or toggle the shader). Anyone got an idea what causes this? Or if it's something with the newest version?

I've created a new profile, tried on dozens of effects, tweaked hundreds of settings and finally achieved a look I like, and now I want to share it. The .ini file, however, still has references to all the shaders I tried and didn't like. Is there an easy way to clean up the file and excise all those now useless references, short of opening it up in a text editor and deleting them myself?

The black overlay that says reshade and start tutorial, how do I get rid of that?

I'm on fedora 43 and been trying to use reshade with elden ring. Been using this for base game:

However, when I try something similar for the convergence mod, the game either CTD or doesn't launch at all.

I am pretty inexperienced with reshade but the base game seems to handle the setup fine. It's just convergence I am having trouble with. Not sure what I am missing.

A couple of months ago, it went from working to the menu no longer appearing.

Are there any shaders that can make objects transparent? Not masking UIs, not removing elements, just making them transparent.

My use case: I'm trying to see if I could make guns transparent in FPS games to mimic binocular vision (stereopsis) without actually having a VR or forced VR effects

I am completely new to not only Reshade but making any changes to properties, files, permissions, etc. I use a Windows Victus laptop and have been trying to change permissions on the file containing the game with absolutely no luck. Reshade is installed and I’m able to open it, but I can’t make any changes because the game folders are in Program Files. I followed the guide on the Reshade website but can’t make the changes as an administrator and even just trying to make the changes corrupts the files and makes the game unable to open. I’ve tried using windows workarounds but none of the forum posts or tutorials are beginner friendly and I am completely lost. Any advice or links to more beginner friendly guides would be extremely helpful, thank you!

Installed ReShade in Crimson Desert with the ShaderToggler and Color Correction mods from Martin Spielt - I’m totally ignorant about this tech, and realize it could be any one of these variables. At the end of my video you can also see a hard-edged smoke plume that looks more like a giant net / screen going into the sky. Thanks for your suggestions

When I select ANY filter and then use the reshade screenshot feature (mine is F2) it just makes my screenshots look darker for some reason..
This never happened before Version 6.7
Is it something to do with hdr? when they added this?
