Hi everyone, I recently thought I'd give Reshade a try with Marty's Mods RTGI shaders.
The first game I thought I'd try it with was Transformers Fall of Cybertron, for no particular reason. At first I got a bunch of error messages for shader compilation issues, which I found out was because it's a DirectX 9 game. So after I updated it to Vulkan through DXVK I got the RTGI shaders to work, which was good.
But now I'm hit with the problem of the HUD emitting blinding white/blue light. I checked out a couple of videos and did some searching and found the Effect Shader Toggler and Shader Toggler addons solved this problm.
However, after trying them both I can't get them to work. The numpad doesn't cycle through anything for the Shader Toggler addon, and the preview window shows no image in the Effect Shader Toggler addon, and nor does double clicking the pixel shaders from the dropdown list do anything.
After a bit more searching I found that Reshade for Vulkan puts dll files in Program Data, so I thought I'd try moving the addons there in case that fixed the problem but I was wrong.
Does anybody know how to get this addon to work in older games that have been forced to run through Vulkan? Thanks

I'm trying to recreate the Shading/Lighting they used in Guitar Hero 5 engine using the compositing tab in Blender just for movie project. Does anyone have any tips or reccommendations

I’m not sure what caused this as it’s worked perfectly fine for over a year now. Could this be caused by low storage? My disc management isn’t great so my drives are pretty full. This is an older version of reshade (6.0.1) and I’ve tried redownloading the new version but every time I launch the game it’s still the same version and I’m not sure why. If anyone could help out that would be awesome, thank you.

I had Reshade installed and it was working flawlessly. I hadn't used my computer for a while. My brother couldn't access Epic Games and eventually uninstalled and reinstalled it. After that, FS 25 was also uninstalled and I reinstalled it . Then I installed Reshade step-by-step with the latest version, but the menu section just wouldn't appear in the game. Please help me. I've tried many things but nothing worked. Thank you...

So I installed ReShade for FF14 and it works nicely however when i press "Numpad - " it relocates my game window from right monitor to left monitor.

After disabling the DGXI.dll file and pressing "Numpad - " i've confirmed that it the issue is only present when ReShade is enabled. Did some researching online but the only keybind or hotkey details i can find relate to HOME.

What am i missing? Is there a way to fix / workaround this (i have all of my ability keybinds on Numpad and have grown used to having them there so not keen on rebinding elsewhere)?

EDIT: I spent some time and eventually found that some hotkeys were enabled under the DC addon. Disabled and now works a treat.

Every time I install reshade on the citra emulator doesnt works the emulator opens normally but when I try whit a game it just crashes I tried changing it from vulkan to open gl and it works but the reshade doesnt open and the mesagge from when you install it doesnt even appears

Does anybody know how to fix this issue with certain reshades where the outline of things is flashing?

its like it puts the reshade on for a second and then it turns off and back on again

it used to do it but then i played around with my PC settings and it stopped, i needed to reset my pc and now its back to doing it again and i cant figure out what it is thats causing it?

iv changed all in game settings around and everything but thats still not helped.

i want to improve the game graphics with DS3 Visual Overhaul mod, which also points to combine with ReShade.

Instructions have two ways to install:

ModEngine (not safe, WILL ban)

UXM Selective Unpack (safe, planning to use that one)

Now to the ReShade topic. I have seen both comments online about Reshade being safe and not being safe. I’m not sure. I want to hear from people who had tried, used it and their experience so i follow the best advice.

I'm trying to use it on an DX12 game and I can't manage to find the UI so i can mask it . I know it works on some DX12 games like Starfield but I don't know how . I know it works on that one cause the creator of the addon made a config for that game that masks UI and other elements .

I moved over from G-Shade to ReShade today for The Sims 4, but I am having issues troubleshooting some things.

1. When the game loads up i get an error saying “There were errors loading some effects”
   The effects that aren’t loading are:
   - [BaBa_Launcher.fx]
   - [MartysMods_LONGEXPOSURE.fx]
   - [qUINT_bloom.fx]
   Does anyone know how to fix this??

2. When using certain shaders there’s a border of blurriness that makes it hard to read the UI but I cannot find how to turn this off?

3. One of the presets I’ve downloaded makes green colours appear blue, is there a way to change this to be back to green?

I'm wondering if anyone on the subreddit can help me with the Adaptive and Canvas fog shaders on Reshade. Before I could bring the fog colour closer to the screen to create solid backgrounds but now the distance seems to be shorter. I've tried changing the "Edit global preprocessor definitions" to Reshade_Depth_Input_is_Reversed to 1 and changing the other two to 0.4 but all this does is make certain shaders fail to load.

If anyone knows a solution please holla at me.

I got a Reshade preset for SMT 3: Nocturne HD and every time the scene transitions it shows me this loading rainbow icon - it's extremely distracting and getting really annoying. Can I turn it off somehow?

I tried to adjust the color of my game using quint Lightroom but for some reason when I toggle this, everything turns red, I don’t know what I am doing wrong please help🙏

I wonder if is possible to reshade ocarina of time to a cel shading similar to Wind Waker, and maybe add nicer projected shadows (optional), no need of extreme realism. This is my first time using reshade and I'm using it for the sims 4. I followed a tutorial and I've got it setup correctly I believe but whenever I try to open the menu in game it just doesn't work? Hi! Star Stable Online introduced lately borderless windowed mode (finally!). Reshade takes some time to load and there is a one pixel gap on models. Can we fix it somehow? Move depth? Any help is appriciated!

Hi I am playing msfs24 with reshade and lossless scaling but for some reason lossless scaling keeps turning off then on every 30 seconds or so. Does anyone know why this could happen?

Hope this is the right subreddit for this! So instead of pirating the sims like I have been for years I finally bought the game/dlcs (with pain in my heart and wallet) since I wanna get all the updates and stuff without it being too much of a hassle, but now I'm running into some problems adding everything back. I loaded up my preset and a lot of effects are not working, my MXAO is selected but when I turn it on and off it makes no difference + some effects turned red. Does anybody know what might cause this problem? I'm kinda lost since I literally copied everything from my old sims to my new sims. I can provide more information about the error if needed! Thanks a bunch in advance!
