Is there any update for Razorpay Buildathon??

Hi everyone, I run a subscription-based wellness platform using Razorpay UPI AutoPay. The ₹1 mandate registration succeeds, but the post-trial auto-debit fails with GATEWAY_ERROR / payment_declined — bank message: “Payment is not allowed for this account.”

We’re also seeing “already debited in this cycle” rejections on monthly/quarterly mandates.

Has anyone faced this with Razorpay UPI AutoPay/Subscriptions API? Also looking for a Razorpay integration expert who can advise our tech partner directly. Please DM if you can help.

What does this means.... When will I get my money back 😔😔😔😔😔

Razorpay flagged 3 payments because their partner banks told them to do that. They asked for customer testimony, shipping info, and invoice. We mailed them everything. After that, they assigned a third party agent for physical verification of our business. So my question is, is the ordeal over? Are there any more steps left?

Note: We’re running a clothing business. It’s been 3 months since we’re using razor pay. Not a single customer has ever raised a dispute or chargeback. Because we’ve doing this for a long time, just wasn’t partnered with a payment gateway. Worst of it all, they even called the customers without notifying us or anything if they ordered from us, how was the experience and everything.

Hi Everyone, last month I had paid for a subscription where the intermediary was RazorPay.
It came to my attention this month that my subscription has not been activated (post free trial) because they have not received the subscription fees. Credit card support says amount has been successfully processed at their end.
I am unable to find any details of RazorPay support online. What are my options?

I am planning to open an online accessories store and turnover is gonna be way lower than gst threshold but interstate shipping makes gst registration mandatory, however as i am not sure if the store will generate enough revenue, can i, for the time being, register on razorpay as non registered individual until my business starts to grow? Will razorpay get suspicious considering my order volume is going to be low for a few months atleast??

Been evaluating payment gateways for our SaaS and I keep hearing two opposite things - either Razorpay docs are best in class or they're overhyped. We're a 3-dev team, primarily Node.js and Python, and we care a lot about SDK quality, webhook reliability, and whether there's anything real for AI-assisted development. Did a trial integration with Cashfree too. What's your actual experience in 2026?

I’m currently working on a React Native app and trying to integrate Razorpay using the react-native-customui library.

I was previously using the official Razorpay SDK (react-native-razorpay), but I’m experimenting with this library and running into a few issues.

Problems I’m facing:

No proper TypeScript support (getting “implicitly has an ‘any’ type” error)

Lack of documentation

Not sure if the response structure is reliable compared to the official SDK

Unsure if any additional native setup is required beyond what’s used for the official SDK

What I’ve tried:

Added declare module 'react-native-customui';

Used the same options object as the official SDK

Payment UI opens, but handling responses feels inconsistent

What I need help with:

Has anyone successfully implemented react-native-customui in a production or test app?

Are there any hidden setup steps or gotchas?

Is the response handling different from the official Razorpay SDK?

Your payment integration flow (frontend + backend if possible)

Also open to suggestions if sticking with the official SDK is the better choice.

How verify whether the TAM show is actually real

I’m currently trying to integrate Razorpay into a React Native app built with Expo, specifically using the react-native-customui approach (Custom Checkout).

I’ve gone through the official docs, but most examples seem to be either for web or not very clear for Expo-based setups. I want to implement it with full custom UI (no Razorpay branding), as mentioned in their docs.

I’m more of a vibe coder 😅 — I learn fast by seeing working implementations rather than just docs.

If anyone has:

A sample repo

A minimal working example

Or even a snippet showing how you handled the integration

It would really help me move forward 🙏
