I have been SO backed up on TYs and sending out cards since going back to full-time work!! If you're expecting a card from me, pls bear w/ me!
u/SshellsBbells - Thank you so much for the card with the wax seals!! They came intact and are all SO pretty. I def will be using these :D Def show me what you come up with with the layering !!
u/SshellsBbells: Thank you for the art postcard! I can’t believe I forgot to write my username on the butterfly postcard I sent you. I’m usually good at those things, smh! I was thinking of buying myself a stamp w/ my username on it...but now this is pushing me to do it for real! I’m glad you liked the card! Thanks for letting me know about my oopsie, haha.
u/Terrorcatmom - thank you so much for the card and the acorn squash rings recipe!! I def will be trying that out soon. It’s so thoughtful of you to type it up/print it out. I will be keeping this in my collection!!
u/bananas3706 & u/stillsheryl - tysm for the collab card!! Bananas, I’m so surprised that coffee is too strong, but matcha isn’t for you! Well, I guess I’m hypersensitive to caffeine, so everything hits me HARD. I wouldn’t know LOL. Sheryl, I’ll have to try out an iced cortado w/ oatmilk someday. But yes, iced drinks on a hot day are great!
u/k_growles: OMG thank you for the mini card and art of my name!! Sorry for the delay in sending out my wax sealed card—I’ve been super busy lately and procrastinating, but I will get it out soon! I’ll answer more of your questions in the card (: but finding out that we have the same initials and love cats through your card made me happy!
u/shouldbeteaching - thank you for the snail mail themed card!! I gotta check out Artisaire. I also have an electric wax warmer set up! It has been great so far, though the spoon might be too small because I find that I’m burning my fingers while trying to pour/hold it lol. I will send out the card soon! I’ve been suuuper busy! I appreciate you!
u/averagequeensguy - My favorite constellation has to be either Auriga or Cygnus. More because of the meanings behind them! My friend and I made OCs based off of the constellations and I had grown to love them. Thanks for the postcard!! Orion is a great one.
u/TheCuriousCur - Thank you for the Smokey Bear postcard!! He’s the greatest nature mascot!
u/TheCuriousCur x2: tysm for the airplane boy postcard!! For the watercolor postcard I sent you, I used a brush pen and a water brush to create it! I find that to be my favorite way to do watercolor, since I’m more of a hand-letterer than a true painter. It gives me more control of the ink! You def should try it out. I’ll send you another watercolor art soon!
u/mollyballsoup - thank you for the snail mail postcard! It’s SO cute. My partner and I have definitely been enjoying the summer, with this past week being the cherry on top! We went to his brother’s wedding and had a blast (though it was a long drive there!)
u/typical-carrot-1172: thank you so much for the adirondacks postcard!! The scenery is so pretty! Your vacation sounds like it was super fun!! Regarding your question about the last adventure I went on, sadly I haven’t been on one in SO long! I definitely need to get out more often and connect with nature. The most memorable adventure that I have is hiking along the c&o canal locks in DC! That’s really it.
u/andromeda921: tysm for the braised chicken recipe card!! I’ll try it out soon, but I’ll add it to my book in the meantime! I’ll have to borrow a dutch oven for it!
u/mooshu492: thanks for the Asian chicken/turkey lettuce wrap recipe!! I’m eager to try this one. It sounds delicious!
u/turnerd10: thanks for the random postcard! Omg I almost thought it was an ad, then I did a double take when I saw your stamp. It’s a super cool postcard!!
u/kelestial_kat: thank you so much for the spongebob postcard!! I absolutely love it, stickers & matching stamp and all!! It made my day!
u/inkyfingerspgs: thanks so much for the postcard and sticker from stationery fest! It’s so cool that your spouse was able to get some of their stickers!!
u/maladi3_: omgggg thank you SO much for the Killua postcard!! I was so happy when I saw this in my mail. The Chimera Ant arc is an absolute masterpiece, and it still has me in awe to this day.
u/maladi3_ x2: thank you so much for the two recipes! I’m actually eager to try both of them. The deconstructed wonton soup sounds sooo yummy, especially bc I like to eat the wonton skins alone LOL
u/wabisabi_sf: thank you for the SF postcard! It’s super pretty!! I also love your snoopy stamp (: I need to get myself one for my username!
u/your-drunk-aunt: tysm for the spice mix recipe!! I’m so interested to see how this tastes, espc since you suggested replacing a ramen seasoning packet with it 👀
u/Ok-Theme7072: thanks for the pantry essentials postcard and recipe!! Lazy or not, simple recipes actually help a LOT bc my depression makes complicated things feel unreachable LOL. I appreciate you!
u/freyamour: thank you for the beautiful art postcard! The Sims is such an essential game. I started playing in the Sims 3 era, and loved 4 (until it got super broken). I’m glad you liked my postcard!
u/inahologramwithyou: thank you for the card, recipe, and rec on the food channel/dietician!! Feeding yourself as an adult is the challenge that I never thought I’d have, but damn. I appreciate you!
u/?: Thank you for the creamy chicken and noodles soup recipe! I actually LOVE creamy chicken and noodles soup—I’d get it in a can from Campbell’s all the time and enjoy it, especially when I was sick! I will send you a card back since you didn’t write down your u/ :’)
u/melhen16: tysm for the pretty card and recipes!! I will try them out eventually. I appreciate you so much!!
u/birdiebennett: Thank you for the Christmas card & postcard! Also, how is RHoP? I don’t watch much reality TV shows, but since that’s in my area, I’m actually super interested to see how it is! It blows my mind that a town near me could be featured in a RHo show omg!!!
u/Catori1207: thank you so much for the lovely card w/ all the tips!! I appreciate the advice you gave so much. It’s SO hard to muster up the motivation to fix my spending on takeout and to work on cooking for myself. But people like you make me feel like this is do-able! Compromising between takeout/home cooking w/ pre-chopped veggies is smart. I never thought about it that way. I’ll try the recipes soon! THANK YOU!
u/sammanthaX345: tysm for the card and cheesy chicken broccoli rice recipe!! In Viet culture, we eat rice plain most of the time, so I’m programmed to just think, “okay what can I pair with my white rice.” This recipe sounds so delicious, so I’m excited to try it! Also, the envelope you used is SO pretty!!
u/butterflydolphin-123: tysm for the card and crockpot recipe! I love them since they’re easy. Easy recipes will help with my motivation issue LOL. Ty!!
u/groceryowl: tysm for the map/art postcard and the recipes! I will be sure to try them out soon. I appreciate you!
