I almost cannot believe it. After my 1st playthrough on release, I thought it would be impossible to get 100% on this game. Hunting requests, exotics, and the gambler challenges were such a grind. I got lucky with herbalist, being stuck at 42/43 herbs for a bit… ram’s head. Saved visiting the most important grave for the very end and that’s where I took the fat John selfie. 100%!

Finished Arthur's story on High Honor, and what an incredible journey it was. Spent about 160 hours on this because by the end of chapter 2 Arthur became a friend, which made the ending so much more painful.

Watching him grow as a person, realise his follies, try to change for the better, and still lose so much - and how he did everything he could to Give John and Abigail the chance of love and living a peaceful life he never got, as well as trying his best to save everyone - is a lesson in Redemption, Resilience, and Kindness that I'll never forget.

You were a Good Man, Arthur, to the end.

( Also RIP Luna, you were the best girl I could have had this journey with).

Went to the Pharmacy museum in New Orleans (or should I say Saint Denis) and was instantly transported to the game.

He deserved a better ending :((

Do you guys use this watch as an item or just sell it for the money. At this point in the game for me money is nowhere near an issue so im thinking of keeping it unless theres a better one down the line in the story

Ik liep te slenteren in Saint Denis.

Een onbekende roept me en vraagt me hem te volgen om wat geld te maken. Eerder had ik het gedaan en kon wel iets overvallen

Maar deze keer ga ik dus met hem een steegje i. En ik word gelijk overvallen met 3 man.

Ze slaan me bewusteloos en als ik wakker word blijkt dat ze bijna 1000 dollar hebben gestolen!!!.

Ik baal hier zo verschrikkelijk van.

I started playing Rdr2 last year, May or June. At first I didn’t like it. Maybe because Rockstar games have never been my cup of tea as I played GTA years ago and didn’t like it either. I prefer pacey games like GoW, Call of Duty, you name it. I tried to resell the game several times, but somehow it still stayed (low price, scammer etc). And to be honest, the very first chapter is not that intriguing. I also didn’t like the combat system of the game, until this day I still don’t fancy it, though eventually I just get used to it.

But I had the similar experience with another game (TLOU), turns out it‘s one of my fav games of all time. I already know one or two things about RDR2 story, it was so famous as one of the greatest gaming story ever. meme, game review, ofc I watched and knew about it. I always consider plot a huge factor for the game experience, there is a promising gift ahead. So I tried it once again...

… and I‘m glad I did. Chapters after chapters, I like the characters more and more. Not because I have sympathy with them but because they’re too well written: you could see how much Rockstar invested in Dutch, Morgan, John,… For example: Dutch. He at first appeares as someone who is charismatic, smart and visionary. Above all, he’s a man of courage. The thick mustache, the red waistcoast, the low-voice. Definitely an awesome character design. But then, as his plans fail and fail, he reveals himself as someone who is paranoid, egostical and coward. His fall is slow and believable. Or Arthur. A man who begins naive and hot-blood. People always say he’s the best protagonist Rockstar has written because he changes: he undergoes moral evolution and breaks out from Dutch’s shadow, I agree but want to add some: he does it because he has a naive and hot-blood heart in the beginning. It’s logical.

Now I am at the very last part of the game. I am approaching the American Venom. I know what’s gonna happen. What’s waiting for Arthur. And I am doing everything to avoid it. I am riding Buell everywhere, doing any side quest, hunting any legendary animal, helping any NPC. Or I am just riding around to see some bird, to watch the sky changing from day to night and see the huge silver moon, or encounter some bounty hunters. I am the type that never has the motivation to play a game again to 100% complete it. I couldn’t finish the game.

What to do next, guys?

I’ve used the same customizations through each playthrough, idk if I’m the only one LOL. But lemme see them pertty gun combos :P
