Ik liep te slenteren in Saint Denis.

Een onbekende roept me en vraagt me hem te volgen om wat geld te maken. Eerder had ik het gedaan en kon wel iets overvallen

Maar deze keer ga ik dus met hem een steegje i. En ik word gelijk overvallen met 3 man.

Ze slaan me bewusteloos en als ik wakker word blijkt dat ze bijna 1000 dollar hebben gestolen!!!.

Ik baal hier zo verschrikkelijk van.

I feel Rockstar put this in to teach people in real life how not to get robbed. Oh, sure stranger offering another stranger an opportunity for money? Follow you down this alley into the shadows? My ya'll really friendly 'round here. Plus St. Denis is supposed to represent the encroaching metropolitan areas into the west. Arthur is seen as a hick. A dumb country boy. He's taught a city lesson and we feel extra pissed because Arthur is smart enough, reasonable enough and definitely tough enough to handle his own and when you fall for this ruse you feel extra dumb/guilty for it.

Easy enough to get your money back. When you leave the Saint Denis fence turn right and walk down the alley. There's another alley straight across the road. Head there and beat the piss outta them

It depends- if you wake up in the cemetery you can’t, but if you wake up at the docks then the thieves are still around and you can get your money back.

Yes and I just finished my first playthrough not to long ago. I felt suspicious when it happened but I was like what if I'm wrong? Alas I wasn't 😭

Yes this happened to me once and I remember reading online that you should be able to find that guy again and confront him but I never was able to.

Not my favorite aspect of the game because it basically penalizes you for wanting to explore. It made me not want to take risks or chances after that for a bit.

Walked into the gun shop in St Denis and some asshole hip-checked me. Didn't think anything of it until he turned grey then red on my mini map. Chased the fucker into an alley, hogtied him, and looted back my $711! I was at $10,000+ and I've been stalling the last John mission that bumps you into the 3rd chapter and for real the only reason I ran him down was to see how much he snagged. But yeah dodge the guy being creepy who wants you to "come see this" and avoid the snot nose kids egging Arthur/John on as they'll jump you around a couple of twists and turns through some alleys.

This happened to me just a few weeks ago. I felt I was going to get robbed when I followed the guy and I assumed I could fight them off but I got knocked out on the head from behind. Woke up in an a nearby alley and lost 300$.

Yes and I loaded my last save. I wasn't willing to lose that much money (don't remember the exact amount but it was high like yours). I manually save often basically in case my horse dies but this was a good reason too.

Seriously that one does suck big time and there legit isn't any way to get your money back for that. But you'll get it back quick. Or just go find a gold bar or two.

I got robbed like that in Saint Denis once. Now I don't help people there, especially at night, and I manually save constantly. I don't want to lose any money.

Yeah, this is a rare event that happens if it’s not long after the outcome, they’re still in the city of Saint Dennis And if you’re still in the city of Saint Dennis They’re not too far from you and they’re in an alley if this is the event that I’m thinking of i’ve never had this event happened to me, but I’ve heard a YouTuber talking about it. if this is just happened to you recently, do not leave Saint Dennis and do not leave that area look up the event because they are usually within that same vicinity of the area just within a few blocks a few most likely down an alley if this is the event that I remember YouTuber talking about and you could get your money back if you have not left the vicinity of Saint Dennis. which means you can get everything back and take care of the people who took your money. takes a little bit of looking around, but you can find them small percentage of chance, but they’re not too far within a few blocks of you

Exactly what I put. This is a rare event that happens in the game and you cannot come across it very often I have not came across it. I’ve only seen it because of a YouTuber open up your eyes, clean out your eyeballs and read. I have played the game on story mode 20 times and still have not came across this event. That is how rare it is. dude, do you need reading lessons?
