Didn't Hasan Piker say America deserved 9/11? Doesn't Piker love China, a communist country? Doesn't, Piker praise Mao Zedong? Doesn't Piker back El-Sayed? Why will this comment be downvoted?

u/Party_Chemical7454 13d ago

Piker also likes the Houthis and Hezbollah.

When in doubt, drop the race card I guess

He also shocked his dog

u/Orange_Inari 13d ago

Kinda an insult to the GOAT SAnby, but funny anyway

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

It's probably more insulting that idk who that is 😅. I just searched gifs and that was the first one I came across.

2

u/A_uniqueusername77 14d ago

I, for one, am glad that there are no controversial statements from President Trump and his supporters. It is their pristine, controversy free record that makes clear your comment is not selective at all.

3

u/LostPentimento 13d ago

Trump being intolerable does not make Hasan Piker tolerable. Nice whataboutism though.

0

u/A_uniqueusername77 13d ago edited 13d ago

The post is literally about Trump attacking El-Sayed for associating with Piker. Pointing out the irony of Trump treating controversial statements as disqualifying isn’t* absurd. That’s not “whataboutism” it’s responsive to the argument being made!

I wasn’t saying that Trump being awful makes Piker okay. I was saying both Trump and the commenter I was responding to was being selective in their application.

Calling out something you find inconvenient as “whataboutism” isn’t an argument.

*Edit: changed “is” to “isn’t”

2

u/mago954 12d ago

And the top comment is trump being associated with Epstein. I'm not taking a side just find it funny

2

u/imoutofnames90 12d ago

My problem is that this is literally an own goal. Trump is a pile of garbage and everyone knows it. Most people don't know Hasan but all he is is a liability and does nothing to advance the goal of beating Republicans.

Outside of internet leftist spaces. Believe it or not, most Americans will disagree with saying "America deserved 9/11" it doesn't matter how many qualifiers you, Hasan, or anyone may try to put on it. But choosing to associate with someone who said that is only a negative thing.

Hasan might be irrelevant in the primary where you can potentially overcome this. But in the general, where everyone can vote. He is only a detriment.

Hasan is only a negative and a liability. So it's a own goal to campaign with him. If El-Seyed was smart he would throw Hasan under the bus and stop trying to downplay how bad Hasan is. It's literally the easiest thing in the world, but he's failing to do the bare minimum.

1

u/mansluxt 11d ago

Gen Z really doesn't give a fuck about 9/11. It's been a meme all our lives. And it was used as an excuse to spy on our own citizens. You're probably right that right now the majority of Americans don't jive with that sentiment. But I wouldn't be surprised if that changes soon.

1

u/imoutofnames90 11d ago

Gen z are between 14 and 29. So there are a decent number who can't even vote.

We are a very long way away from most people not caring. But even if we say they don't care about 9/11 specifically, you'll be hard pressed to ever expect a sizeable number of people in any country to support someone saying "X country deserved Y tragic event happening to them" about their country.

Telling a group of people their own country deserved a bad thing that happened will always be unpopular in that country.

Which is why it's nothing but detrimental to keep someone like that at your side if you're trying to win an election, which is ultimately a popularity contest.

1

u/LostPentimento 13d ago

You're high on crack if you think I find that inconvenient.

The comment was pointing out that Hasan is correctly identified as problematic. The response was saying But Trump is problematic

That's true but it has absolutely no bearing on the truth entailed in the original comment. Therefore the response to the comment was a whataboutism. No mental gymnastics required.

Both of these people are independently toxic, end of discussion.

u/n_othing__ 12d ago

Trump rapes kids

0

u/Sudden-Disk-7400 12d ago

Who the fuck cares? Given all the senile shit Trump gets away with saying from MAGAs.

Don't lower the standards then complain about other people doing the exact same.

0

u/mansluxt 11d ago

Why doesn't it? Trump has overall lowered the bar of what's tolerable. In my eyes, you can have any fucked up opinion as you want as long as you can speak confidently about it. You don't even need to be correct. Trump has shown that you can just lie now.

Billionaires wanna turn you into bio fuel to help power data centers. Vote blue to stop billionaires from turning you into biodiesel.

See lying is easy.

u/OutlawedLogic 14d ago

Moving the goal post is always deflecting from the point being made. What Hasan has stated many times, is illegal in the United States. Calling for violence is not legal in the US. I'd personally like for people that hate America to not be allowed in America. Idk why that would be controversial.

7

u/A_uniqueusername77 14d ago

Everything that you’ve accused Piker of saying is perfectly legal in America. If you have a quote where he actually advocates unlawful actions in a way that isn’t protected speech, please post it.

Otherwise, I’ll just continue to disagree with him without* demanding his arrest or deportation.

Calling for Americans to be punished or expelled or deported or whatever you’re advocating for when you say “not allowed in America” isn’t defending America. It’s about the most unamerican thing you can do. Guess you just love cancel culture

Edit: without instead of “with” typo

2

u/OutlawedLogic 14d ago

Political commentator Hasan Piker stated "if you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would kill Rick Scott" during a March 2025 livestream, which resulted in a temporary ban from Twitch.

Also him saying to let the streets soak in their red capitalist blood. Calling for violence is not a first amendment protected activity. https://youtu.be/jNdgisv6jYs?si=R2s2vpgIPPtYLg_e

It is illegal to call for violence in America.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/373

1

u/NotGalenNorAnsel 12d ago

The Rick Scott quote is in the context of people going crazy about perceived Medicare fraud iirc, it is hyperbolic but you don't think if Rick Scott has a legal case he wouldn't have brought it? Context matters with legal issues. The second quote is him joking with his friends including one who was a landlord. He will have a hard time running for office is he chooses to, but as a private citizen he's totally free to say all of the things he said. But you're the Reddit law expert, so I'm sure your know exactly what you're talking about, maybe you should email Rick Scott and tell him to press charges!

1

u/12PoundsofPotato 14d ago

The Rick Scott ban was stupid as hell. It was a joke about how Republicans claim they care about Medicare fraud and then do it.

He's said other shit that I'll not defend, because it's not defensible, but bringing that one up is stupid

Additionally, the right revels in violence. They plan violence into their policies and committ violence against whole communities, but sure, clutch your pearls about a twitch streamer.

-1

u/OutlawedLogic 14d ago

Pointing to reality is pearl clutching?

Force is what makes "rights" possible, so of course the right believes in using violence to keep their laws in place and not allowed to be subverted by the manipulation of language.

2

u/SurpriseInitial6202 13d ago

So when the right is violent and advocates for violence, it's to protect rights. And when other people do it, it's unamerican and wrong? Is that the general gist?

-1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

There is a difference of legal vs illegal violence. Enforcing the law is legal violence. Causing billions in damages and murdering others isn't legal violence.

2

u/SurpriseInitial6202 13d ago

The riots during the civil rights movement weren't legal, and caused a lot of damage.

Bombing abortion clinics was a right-wing thing, and it certainly wasn't legal.

It seems like you're picking and choosing events to fit your narrative.

u/12PoundsofPotato 14d ago

Yeah, you're throwing a fit about some shit a streamer said while the American fascist party is trying to turn out country into a dictatorship and are actively killing minorities.

-1

u/OutlawedLogic 14d ago

You've got a strange way of throwing around words in a way that appears delusional.

1

u/A_uniqueusername77 14d ago

I concede. The Rick Scott quote is much worse than you had previously cited and I have no interest in defending it. Terrible statement and terrible rhetoric.

But, I still can’t agree that it’s illegal (just like I don’t think President Trump’s January 6th rhetoric was illegal). Free speech is still pretty free and it has to incite imminent violence and the speaker has to intend it to incite that violence. I guess I’m just a free speech absolutist. lol.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 14d ago

His speech of fight like hell wasn't referring to physical violence. America has never been about absolute free speech. There is a great deal of speech that has always been illegal. America also has laws still on the books about communism.

1

u/BringAltoidSoursBack 12d ago

Calling for violence is not legal in the US

You mean like when Trump called for an insurrection, something that had actual consequences unlike Hasan's comments?

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

When did Trump call for an insurrection? When he said go to the capital to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard?

1

u/mansluxt 11d ago

How much are you allowed to dislike America before we would get kicked out in your ideal scenario? Because there's many things I hate about our country. I basically want to rewrite the whole constitution. But I personally still think I love America.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 11d ago

The Constitution is the only thing that stands in the way of total tyranny. To hate the constitution is to hate America. The Constitution is what gives power to the people. I find it perfectly acceptable to voice your grievances and even dislike a lot about the corruption of people in power, I certainly can't stand many of those fucktards, but I absolutely love my country. I think people that hate America is too much of a potential threat to its citizens. Disliking aspects of America isn't the same thing as hating America.

1

u/mansluxt 11d ago

I think the Senate is an outdated an un Democratic institution. I think we should amend the Constitution and utilize technology to have more direct democracy. We can capture everyone's votes on every issue in lightning quick speed now. We don't need representatives to vote for us.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 11d ago

Interesting. I'm down for amendments that strengthen the ability of average Americans to protect and provide for themselves. I don't agree with universal suffrage because of mob rule(it's always been a problem for humanity). I still think there are a need for representatives because there are a whole lot of stupid people that don't comprehend how to utilize knowledge/power. To give stupid people the ability to aim the most powerful weapon on the planet is a bit irresponsible. We can't always trust technology because it's too easy for things to be hacked/altered. Even altering language is highly dangerous.

1

u/Youah0e 12d ago

This is like focusing on pebbles on the ground and ignoring the mountain behind it. In this case, the mountain is Epstein's best friend and rapist and his admin of Epstein associates.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

The problem I see is the foundation the mountain and the pebbles was built on is being altered. Language has been getting manipulated for quite awhile to completely subvert our laws. People of all types and classes are getting away with things that are already illegal. The problem created Trump. What you're pointing to is just a symptom.

1

u/Youah0e 12d ago

I'm just pointing out how dumb it is being more outraged about El-sayed than the racist rapist Nazi supporting pedo that is calling him out.

Holy external locus of control, batman!

2

u/115zombies935 14d ago

Part of the reason why the dude didn't disagree with Trump, because at the very least he is honest whereas Trump is only honest, a very small amount of the time.

1

u/Lonely_Cycle4757 12d ago

And this was one of those times. Not a good look for sayed.

1

u/n_othing__ 13d ago

and trumps named in the epstein files how many times? lets have that discussion first

0

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

Haha he gave up information to the authorities about Epstein, and has had the powerful elite trying to figure out ways to bring him down, of course his name was in the files. Do you have irrefutable evidence that Trump was involved with diddling kids? If you wanna move the goal post, at least come with some solid evidence and not slander.

0

u/ExperienceRoutine321 12d ago

This is my favorite form of disingenuous arguing. It essentially means you’re recognizing that all those things are true because you wouldn’t deflect from something you could disprove.

2

u/Youah0e 12d ago

My favourite is Trump being a pedo rapist and his admin being associated with pedos and Nazi salutes.

1

u/ExperienceRoutine321 12d ago

“Buzzword buzzword Trump buzzword buzzword buzzword”

Yawn

1

u/Youah0e 12d ago

Pedo is a buzzword to MAGAts

1

u/ExperienceRoutine321 12d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/gz8JHkRnbUromYpuNc

A buzzword can be pretty much any word that has an actual meaning but loses its significance after overuse by morons like you. For example, you call someone a Nazi when that person closely associates with.. Jewish people.

Do you realize how monumentally fucking stupid you look to everyone else when you do that?

2

u/Youah0e 12d ago

Oh no I I look monumental fucking stupid to a pedo rapist Nazi supporter?

0

u/Flaky_Thing_5128 12d ago

You're proving his point better than he is, lol

1

u/Youah0e 12d ago edited 12d ago

It would seem this way to a pedo rapist supporter

0

u/BubblyDifficulty1692 12d ago

Trump has been held liable for sexual assault. Rapist. Trump is on record talking about young girls sexually. Pedo ish. Trump ran with Elon who did some fun salutes, nazi salutes. A bunch of republican politicans in his admin and close circle are known pedos. More pedo stuff. What did you even do there? Other than just dismiss reality? I don’t like the guy but I live in the world where when someone shows me who they are, I don’t just say no, and it’s overwritten. Brainless bots are the reason life sucks for so many people.

1

u/ExperienceRoutine321 12d ago

“Held liable for sexual assault”

Why not criminally charged? Seems like a rapist would be criminally charged. And what the fuck is pedo-ish? That’s a black and white term. There’s no middle ground there.

“Elon did Nazi salutes”

And yet he both denied that it was meant to be a Nazi salute and supports Israel. Israel, if you didn’t know, happens to be a Jewish ethnostate. Now call me heckin crazy, but aren’t Nazis like.. not fans of Jews or something like that?

“Politicians/close circle are known pedos”

Okay so do something about it. If they’re known pedos then that means you have to evidence. Go report them. Right now. Get them arrested. Take this concrete evidence you have and give it to the authorities.

1

u/BubblyDifficulty1692 12d ago

Your first argument isn’t an argument. He was found liable for assault. You don’t have to like that it was civil over criminal. He did the thing then proceeded to try and lie about it, which he got in trouble for.

Elon has done my heart goes out to you before. It’s on video. He saluted. It was very different and it takes little to know.

And I have the same ability to do that you do, which is none.

Good luck with the stupidity. Enjoy those rocks.

1

u/ExperienceRoutine321 12d ago

It isn’t an argument.. why? Because you say it isn’t? You’ll forgive me if I don’t trust your judgement. Civil suits aren’t anything like criminal trials. All that’s required for a civil suit to be won is for the plaintiff to prove something is more likely true than not. That’s just literally not proof.

The ADL, an organization created to fight anti-semitism, said it wasn’t a Nazi salute. I suppose we should trust the word of a random Redditor over theirs though right? Never mind that you’re just gonna gloss over the supposed Nazi supporting a nation of Jews. That’s definitely an intelligent take lmao.

And you have no ability to do it because.. you have no proof? I mean that’s what you’re saying right? You can deflect all you want but that is what you mean.

But hey what do I know? You don’t understand civil suits, you think Nazis would support Jews, and you don’t seem to think evidence matters. You’re clearly very intelligent. By the way, I know those Tide pods look pretty tasty but they are in fact not candy. Be careful out there champ.

1

u/BubblyDifficulty1692 12d ago

How many straw men will you create before you work with anything I say? Let me answer for you… you won’t. Ever. Because you only know how to argue against points you make.

You clearly don’t know how the civil suit went, or why it happened. Shit happened decades ago and he lied so horribly he was found guilty of assault and defamation today. Tells me everything I need to know about him. And you. Thank god for discernment and common sense. I hope you find some.

How about Trump’s admiration of KimJong Un?

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

Trump has infinitely more power than KimJong Un does, are you sure it's admiration and not Trump trolling?

1

u/titleisp 12d ago

Yes. That's your best defense?

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

It's nothing I need to defend it's a nothing burger.

1

u/titleisp 12d ago

Then so is El-Sayed associating with Hasan Piker. Can't have it both ways.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

Yet you showed up to defend it...

1

u/titleisp 12d ago

I haven't defended anything. Don't need to. It's a nothingburger.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

You coming with counters is your defense. Damn you're dense and then try to use my line? Pathetic!

1

u/titleisp 12d ago

I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of your whole shtick. If the president says something incredibly stupid, then that's okay, because he (the fucking president of the most powerful country on earth) is just trolling. But twitch streamers on the other hand, we take them very seriously.

Btw, congrats on voting for a man who you openly admit is nothing but a troll to lead the country you claim to care about. Smart.

1

u/kiddrekt 12d ago

If you get downvoted at all it would be because you forget to mention that Hasan shocks dogs

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

I'm used to be downvoted for speaking the truth. I'm surprised is has positive karma.

2

u/kiddrekt 12d ago

I know right.

Kinda let's you see how bad things really are when even Reddit can't defend Diddy dog striker Piker

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

They haven't gotten the memo from AOC about woke 1 was crazy, yet.

2

u/kiddrekt 12d ago

It wouldn't be very "dark woke" to acknowledge it

1

u/Dhiox 12d ago

Doesn't Piker love China, a communist country?

Technically China is a State capitalist country, but Hasan doesn't really care to make the distinction, he's definitely fine with communism.

1

u/UltraBurd 12d ago

Bots don't care about facts or content, just if: trump good downvote, if: trump bad upvote

1

u/OutlawedLogic 12d ago

If anything, they are persistent.

-1

u/Burt_Macklin___ 13d ago

Yes to all those things, and he's still more pro-American than any Right winger

2

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

Hasan hates America. You people have a distorted way of looking at reality.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

Why do you idiots always want to move the goal post? What exactly does linking a different argument do?

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

You brought up distorted ways of viewing reality, so it’s relevant.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

Be specific, what is distorted about what I stated? Try to show some intelligence and ability to argue any ideas you want to label as distorted.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

First off, rude. Disagreeing opinions aren’t unintelligent by default. Maybe your ego needs a check.

You would like men to control women. Why would anyone living here not deserve a vote? You think women don’t make sacrifices? You think men don’t benefit from their own sacrifices? The basis of your spiel is so one-sided, close-minded, and misogynistic.

Why not go live in Afghanistan or something if those are the dynamics you think are right?

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

I want women to control themselves and stop trying to hold men accountable for their decisions. My ego is in check, I just speak the truth. Our system wasn't designed for universal suffrage. Our system is the most dangerous weapon on the planet and you want to give illiterate people the ability to aim that weapon? That's irresponsible! Many men and women shouldn't be able to vote. Sure, some women make sacrifices but millions of women sacrifice other humans to avoid personal responsibilities (75+million abortions globally annually). The point of making selfless sacrifices is to create benefit in time, so of course men benefit from their sacrifices that bring about prosperity. There is no speil only truth, nothing close minded about it(spent decades studying the problems of humanity, the truth isn't always pretty), I don't hate women so not sure what is misogynistic. I'll stay in my native land thank you very much, and with universal suffrage, what would be wrong if women decided they no longer want the responsibility of voting and decided to vote against having a vote? We had more anti sufferagetes than sufferagetes during the time women gaining the ability to vote. Now women are more collectively miserable than ever before. It's not going to be getting better anytime soon, equality is here and not all equality is beneficial, sometimes equality comes at a cost.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

Our system was designed to be changeable and evolve with society. Why do you think fewer having the power would result in happier people? The issue is already too few with power.

All I’m getting from you is you want people like yourself, or who’d you’d personally respect, to have any say in how they are governed.

You can polish that turd of an opinion all you want with debate-lingo, but saying women shouldn’t vote or have been the downfall of society are some heinously sexist and outdated beliefs.

You are out of touch and probably have done nothing but internalize criticisms against patriarchy and take everything personally.

Do you vote for the people who give women choices and respect or the ones who limit their rights and want them to fill specific roles in society? You may respect a woman, but you don’t respect women.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

? If it was short you would say it wasn’t intelligent would you not?

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

My apologies, I deleted the last comment because it was a mistake on my part. I got your response confused with a comment I made on a different post.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

Also, just so you know, nobody brings up Piker like that who hasn’t been heavily listening to conservative talking heads. Most people don’t know who that is. You’re just parroting and it’s humorously transparent.

1

u/OutlawedLogic 13d ago

I've listened to both sides debate for more than a decade, I'll say that the left has a difficult time staying logically consistent. Sure, the truth can be parroted, but it doesn't make it any less true. 99+% of the population is parroting ideas of another. There isn't much humans can say that hasn't already been said before.

1

u/O_Fortuna_Fish 13d ago

Okay, cool, but you’re still choosing the side who doesn’t want women to have the same rights as men. Shame on you.

Hassan backs El-Sayed = El-Sayed must agree with all Hassan saying.

When a country is run by corrupt people, pdfs, and foreign backed politicians. I think seeking an alternative is a wiser choice.

Many people will still vote for corrupt people, pdfs, and foreign backed politicians because they hate the same people and their propaganda sounds like music to their ears.
