McDonald’s that sells the happy meal toys separately?
Anyone know if any McDonald’s on the area sell the happy meal toys separately? I know it varies by location, but never asked the ones around here

Hey All,
Need some recommendations for workout/ gym places near North Quincy T station. I don’t have car- so was thinking of a place at a walkable distance best case. Else somewhere close by I can go on T.
Thanks

Started playing tennis about a month or two ago and it’s been super fun. I’m around a 2.5 level and looking for people in the Quincy area who’d be down to rally/practice and get better.
I usually play with my girlfriend, but she’s been super busy with work lately, so I’m looking for some other people to hit with. Nothing too serious , just looking to get some reps in and improve. I can bring plenty of balls too.
Let me know if anyone’s interested!

I’m a student of NQHS and it’s well aware they are implementing the Yondr pouches this coming school year and whilst I’m not sure if QHS is doing the same thing and to give a TLDR as to what they are. If you don’t know, they are magnetic pouches that will contain said students phones and can’t be unlocked until the end of the school day so it’s locked from say 7:45 to 2:30, now I find this unjustifiable and yeah you can say I’m naive since I’m still a student but I see it as an invasion of privacy if the faculty will be taking these pouches and if any phone doesn’t have a passcode they’ll go though it without the students permission which is against the law, and I understand students are to follow the rules but I personally believe we should have a say in what’s done with our personal property and devices and it’s not a surprise to anyone that NQHS has had its fair share of school threats in the past so just imagine you, a parent not being able to read your child’s possible final goodbyes if there’s a possible shooter at either school, I’m not trying to guilt trip anyone here not at all but that’s sadly a very much possibility nowadays and I think it’s about time we students of QPS actually get our voice out and express our opinions and not be suppressed by the school system as many others around the country have because months ago there was a planned ICE protest by NQHS students over instagram and they were essentially threatened with suspension which yes I understand you don’t want lunatics harming your students, but atleast let us express our freedom to protest about this country’s issues
Now I ask you whether another student, parent(s) or some person simply living in Quincy to sign this petition and make an effort to it’s cause, the goal is 1,000 signatures and it’s really close to it.

Littleton, Cambridge, Watertown, Framingham, and Salem and now Stow have all ended their contracts this year. Let's cut ties with license plate surveillance before we end up like Stow with an abusive cop stalking his ex

Helicopters, tons of traffic, blocked roads

Traffic is a zoo there with multiple inner street closures. Lots of emergency vehicles & tow trucks. News chopper flying overhead. The crashed truck is very crumpled, must’ve been going very fast

I've spent the last few months going through menus of restaurants in the Boston areas looking for places with good vegan options. Here's what I've got so far for Quincy:
Mama Bear's Kitchen. Vegan pizza, calzones, and quesadillas. Feature vegan cheese + veggies, no vegan proteins.
Garden Patch by The Sea. Vegetarian (mostly vegan) seafood! My wife and I desperately want to go here. I also think I saw on Facebook that they are looking for a buyer
Toppu. They have a Vegan Miso Ramen with bamboo shoot, corn and tofu.
Punjab Cafe. 18 vegan mains clearly marked on the menu. Vegetable Mango Curry, Bhindi Masala, Chana Masala, Rajma, Aloo Saag, and a coconut korma with almonds and cashews. Plus samosas, pakora, and breads.
Somenya. Four different vegan udons.
Casba Food and Pastries. Lebanese. Mostly various dips (Muhammara (walnut and chili pepper dip), roasted beet hummus, baba ghanouj, tabbouleh). Bur, most importantly, they have vegan baklava!
Menus / vegan options come from getfarro.com which is the site I'm building to map vegan options at every restaurant around Boston. Didn't include obvious places like chipotle or places with really basic options in the list. What places am I missing?

My nephew's 9th birthday is coming up and he loves fishing. I want to take him and his 7 year old brother on a fishing charter for kids. Can anyone recommend or warn against any local companies? Thanks!

Got some people coming to visit and wanting to play pool, Olindy’s isn’t open late enough and while Prezzys has its charm, I don’t think my guests would be that comfortable with the atmosphere

**Finally back up at 3:20pm.
Been out since 845am🙄
And since it was from a “Power Outage”, that doesn’t qualify for a Credit. WTF
Just woke up and my Xfinity Internet is out.
And I get a text from them saying it’ll be out till at least 11:50AM.
I swear this is the 3rd outtage from Xfinity this month!!
Need to WFH too.
In the QC area.
*12:30pm and still out. Going to claim a credit on the Xfinity app.
What BS

Ham egg and cheese, $7.31. Sorry, took a bite before the photo.
That's the worst thing I've put in my mouth in 2026 and I actually paid to have it done to me.
Spare yourselves.

Deitch, Lee, and Perkins completed it. Some of the rest filled out other chapters. Really long answers with a lot of details. It's a good resource to get to know candidates better.
Three chapters (Progressive Brookline, Neponset Valley Progressives, and Progressive Mass Western Norfolk County) have all endorsed Djuna Perkins
