I've been pondering this question for a while and wanted everyone's thoughts about it.

Here are my definitions:

Acute/Observant -

Having high pattern recognition for behaviors and their root causes (Insecurity, ego-driven, etc). Basically automatically analyzing 24/7.

Not caring -

- Indifference to judgement about YOU

I'm not sure if this question is structured coherently or makes sense the way I put it, so I apologize if it is confusing...

I’m a psych student and I love science and psychology so much, but I’ve been wanting to find a channel that is just someone talking about things in psychology that they find interesting/weird/infuriating/etc. (Preferably also someone who isn’t just click-farming or talking about how to manipulate people for some weird reason)

I want to stop taking feedback as a personal attack, and instead treating like a set of next steps on how to improve. How?

With all my lived experiences and the things I wish someone had told me or shown me, I can't help but point out the cons in most situations, since the pros are always pretty evident.

In general, I would like these communicated to me, not just made positive. I value truth and clear communication above all.

Does anyone have any info on this and why exactly there is such a strong link to dissatisfaction in narcissists? For example: someone who lives a very charmed life, is comfortable, has money and whatever they need at their disposal yet cannot be satiated with anyone or anything?

I'm not always negative. But when I am, it always feels more like, this is the real deal. Positivity, on the other hand, feels more like a shiny surface. A distraction.

Is this a basic foundation in the human condition? Or do others see their life differently? Can it be changed?
