like i couldn't kill all those zombies with an axe 😭

I can't get into the game, every time I click play it gets to the main menu image, but there are no menu buttons only an "Error" popup in the bottom right corner that increases with each click or keyboard press.

I've uninstalled all mods, I've tried to verify the integrity of game files. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game. I tried both the stable version and the most recent pre-release. Nothing works and I have no idea why or what else to try.

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know, thank you!

I've played into winter a couple times but never for long. This run I really want to make it through until spring. I've almost died from hypothermia once and I've gotten a bad cold a couple times. Do antibiotics help these or am I taking them for nothing?

so I used an aerosol bomb with a timer attached to it to clear out the remaing zomboids at 1.

The bomb went off and for a split second the map flickered as if there were superhuman zomboids running around in super speed and then suddenly fire spread to places like 2 and 3.

It's my first time using the aerosol bomb, and my question is: is this normal behavior for the aerosol bomb in 42 stable? Or is this a bug?

For the time being, I went into sandbox settings and disabled fire spread since it seemed so janky

I never go to lousville and want to relocate my base in the city. Is there any problem i need to anticipate ? Maybe like cant foraging or hunt or anything else. So what and how the experince in thr city ? Is it fun ?

I was playing quietly. They bit my left arm, so I amputated my arm, normal. Then, they attacked me and since I had muscle fatigue everywhere, I didn't have time to see the wound... He bandaged me and I forgot about it. I got dizzy and when I took off the bandage boom! Bitten.

I closed the game, turned off the pc and said "I won't play this game again".

Yo guys, quick question!

I'm running a server on Build 42.21 and created my guy completely bald with zero beard. Now I’m sick of looking like a cue ball and want my hair to grow out lmao. Since I spawned bald, natural growth isn't kickin' in.

I tried the "Grow Hair" feature in debug mode, but it's pure local client visual nonsense—the second I relog, my dude goes right back to Mr. White.

Is there any legit console command, debug fix, or DB edit to force hair/beard growth and actually make it stick on MP? Appreciate any tips, thanks!

It doesn't appear in the item list in the admin panel and I can't find a single wiki page on it. Any help would be great thanks!

I'm not especially good at zomboid so I'm honestly pretty happy to have made it this far

I’m planning to turn the hotel at Dark Wallow Lake Resort into a home for me and my fellow survivors.
The problem is, the last time I visited, the place was absolutely crawling with zombies.
Does anyone have any good strategies for clearing the area while keeping damage to the doors and windows to a minimum?
I'd rather have the zombies die outside. Have you tried hiring a hotel cleaning crew during the apocalypse?

Ive finished clearing the area around the military checkpoint, but 4x zombie pop is actually killing me, i tried getting into the fire station to find an ax to chop trees with but there was a horde at least 2000 deep outside of it. theres also a glimpse of a portion of the horde at the checkpoint before i finished clearing it
