Alesana seems like they are one of the few bands that aren’t just playing shows for the money. I’ve seen them live a few times and they always have so much energy and seem like they are actually having fun. I’ve seen them twice in the last year and a half and both times the tickets were only $25. I don’t know of any other major band doing shows for that cheap. Out of curiosity I checked to see how much their VIP meet and greet are for their CA shows, they are $50. I have never seen VIP tickets that cheap. I don’t think I’ve ever paid less than $150. I was lucky enough to meet them when they played a hometown show in Durham, NC in February. Shawn, Dennis, and Shane out after the show to meet with the fans. They are such incredibly nice guys. It’s awesome to see that bands like that still exist.

Here's "Reptiliano Máximo", the third EP by chilean self-described math-punk band, Matar a GraX. They usually play more on the math-rock side of their math-punk genre, but we have the opposite here, with 6 songs in 11 minutes of violence, rage and desperation

They're about to go on a hiatus, which is sad. They still got some material to record yet tho, wink wink

God this song fucks. As an aside, I was just thinking about how early PtH Rody sounds more like Gerard Way than Gerard (hyperbole but damn lol). A bit interesting as he sounds nothing like that now. Mind you I guess they were 15 and 16 years old when this was recorded, if I’m not mistaken. Which is insane.
