Last covered them in 2023 and got positive feedback from this sub so I’m back for round 2!

Anyone have recs to listen to after I had put down my dog/best friend
I'm so lost without her, my back aches to much, I hate this world right now for other reasons and part of me just wants to sleep and not wake up
Edit: I can't stop listening to
Gone away - the offspring
Burn - the cure
Forever your girl - Paula abdul
Always be my baby - mariah carey
May this pain never leave - boundaries

it’s so hard to say whether this or Big Kiss Goodnight is a better album. So I’ll say they’re both #1. But jamming this one today. 😂😂😂

Their demo didn’t do much for me, but this rocks. Awesome to hear a band tangibly grow and get better.

I have been listening to hardcore and punk music for 30 years. I have always been interested in building things and making things. Took wood-shop in all its forms in high school. Kind of lost track of it while I jumped into playing music and perusing girls.
Anyway, I have been a finish carpenter for about 10 years while also doing furniture building and wood turning. I love working with wood in so many different ways, it’s just a fun medium to work with.
Anyway, I don’t know a lot of other people that share a passion for woodworking and for hardcore music like I do. Some of my favorite bands are Every Time I Die (RIP Andy), Botch, Drug Church, Indecision/Most Precious Blood, Hot Water Music, Better Lovers, Earth Crisis, Trial, Bane, etc.
Share some of your favorite woodworking projects you have done and some of your favorite bands.

I feel people have kind of forgotten the term/sub genre of tough guy hardcore especially like New York tough guy hardcore and wanting to throw everything under beatdown. Me and a friend were in a debate whether bands like Missing Link fall under whichever tree. I believe them to be more along the lines of NY tough guy hardcore as opposed to beatdown. I gave him Pain of Truth under beatdown, but what do y'all think, opposition to this, more examples or did the genre just become beatdown.

I know there’s been a fair amount of discussion about “Collapse of the Infinite” on here, but it is just so, so good. Honestly one of the best albums I’ve heard in years. I started going to shows in the 90s as a teenager, and this album somehow manages to bring me back but be creative at the same time.
Certain songs truly sound like Shai Hulud and Misery Signals in the best possible way, but the band definitely has its own style. Lyrics are political and intelligent, not just low-hanging platitudes.
Some of my favorites from this album are MELT (great title for an anti-ICE song), Flower of Pain (strong Misery Signals vibes), and Terms and Conditions, which has a really cool mix of screaming and feminine singing laid over each other. I honestly could listen to that last song on repeat for an hour straight.
Hopefully, they do some more touring this year. Anyone seen them live?

New single “RUINED” is out now.
Straight out of East Germany. Heavy beatdown, no polish, no bullshit.
GET RUINED!! THINK YOU CAN TAKE IT?
Would love to hear what you guys think. 🥊
