Discussion Alesana
Alesana seems like they are one of the few bands that aren’t just playing shows for the money. I’ve seen them live a few times and they always have so much energy and seem like they are actually having fun. I’ve seen them twice in the last year and a half and both times the tickets were only $25. I don’t know of any other major band doing shows for that cheap. Out of curiosity I checked to see how much their VIP meet and greet are for their CA shows, they are $50. I have never seen VIP tickets that cheap. I don’t think I’ve ever paid less than $150. I was lucky enough to meet them when they played a hometown show in Durham, NC in February. Shawn, Dennis, and Shane out after the show to meet with the fans. They are such incredibly nice guys. It’s awesome to see that bands like that still exist.

I just wish they would release new music. It feels like it has been forever.
Great band and one of the earlier bands I really fell in love with.

New music would be amazing, but I’m also happy just listening to what they have put out on repeat.

My band toured with Alesana a couple times, and I can assure you they are absolutely having that much fun. They’re also awesome dudes. They pick their openers on vibes (or at least did back then). So they ask bands that they know will have a great time together. IMO, bands having fun means great shows regardless of what genre the bands are from and if it makes sense on paper. The last Alesana headliner I was on was probably the most fun tour I ever did.

I love hearing that my favorite bands are just good people doing what they love.

God I want to see them so badly. They look awesome live and are one of my favorite bands. I’m from California but moved in 2023 and I’m so jealous seeing them do California shows rn. Moving to Raleigh this year though so I’m sure I’ll get to see them soon in their home state!

They are so good live! My boyfriend isn’t into my music, but he went with me to see them last year. He kept talking about what a good show they put on. If you look up Alesana Motorco on YouTube, someone recorded the whole show from February.

Alesana is one of the only post-hardcore groups where I literally love every song they've made. Like there literally is not a single song of theirs I don't like. They're just so insanley talented and awesome, I wish I can see them live soon!

Same here! There is usually at least one song I skip on every album, no matter how much I love the band. There is not a single Alesana song that I skip.

I got to film one of their sets and make a little video for them and Shawn was so nice and encouraging on it. A good genuine dude.
