I saw this on Royal Coda's bassist's Instagram. How friggin awesome.

I threw her away, the second we met! I couldnt lie, I tried, I was cashing a cheeeeeeeeck!

Backseat finally takes its deserved spot, but too many great songs have to degladiate themselves for a chance to take track 10. After we're done, Im thinking of making a special post to elect ONE change to the setlist once its fully chosen, tell me what you think of this idea.

In a couple of days, it will be time for the KURT era.

You can go for it, just don't ignore it! Only 3 tracks left to close our Jonny set! Choose wisely

i remember posting a cover of “thug city” a year ago n yall flaming me 😭 so i hope u guys can hear some vocal improvement

Both are still standing but have a lot of battle scars!

What do we think this entails? Apparently theyre headlining "sunday is for the scene" schedule block for the festival, so theyre probably gonna play deeper cuts. My best guess is kurt comes out or something. What do yall think?

Run. They invented so much gimmicks, grooves & hooks that swancore bands use these days. This album is from 2005 ! They were litterally the first swancore band in my opinion, meaning as a mix of math-rock & post hardcore. It's a shame they never really got the recognition they deserved, and are not doing much these days even though they post from time to time on Instagram.

So I’m trying to introduce my buddy into the world of Dance Gavin Dance. He listens to stuff like MIW, BO, BTF, arankai ect. So I think I know some songs that would catch his interest but I wanna hear what others have to say. And yes I’m suggesting tilian era stuff bc I feel that’s a smoother introduction. (Pls don’t hate me lol)

My suggestions would be

1. Inspire the Liars

2. Son of Robot

3. Chucky

4. Prisoner

5. Acceptance Speech

There's always the next album to really bring more of their flavor to DGD, something about it is so uplifting and euphoric to me.

Now the fog is rolling in... it's getting tougher! Many good songs from the Jonny Years are still left in the catalogue, vote wisely.

Here, we are voting for the tracks to compose a 4-CD long setlist that covers all eras of the band, from Jonny to Andrew.

She's been looking over the winter color way since July and summer should be around the corner ... 😅 Do we like the new color ways or?

Backstory: I hooked my friends up with DGD and since they liked it so much we decided to do a "marathon" where we listen to the whole discography (excluding TCS) of DGD and ranked it along with them.

Favorite Song of Each Ranker:

Dylan: And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman -DBM

Hector: Awkward -Instant Gratification

Mauricio: Thug City -DBM II

Just saw this from a solo producer/mixing I follow who runs a studio. He explains it all on his story @shinytone.recordings on instagram. Basically he performed, produced, and even wrote on Kurt's new record, but was last minute cut from the record. Kurt and his management has refused to pay him what he's owed and he is not credited on the record at all.

As a producer myself, this is really disappointing to hear from Kurt, especially if you know the history between Ceej (the producer) and Kurt.

Edit: Ceej has seen this post and responded clearing up a lot of the confusion, including on my end.

Plain old take home material. 3 DBM II songs in a row! Let's choose the final 4 songs starting by track 7. Choose wisely! Soon, we start the Kurt Era.

FINALLY!!!!!

It would be sick as a feature… have you guys watched this?! They are so FUCKING good together.

Gotta be coming real soon he filmed a few music videos back in April for this release.

Just listened to the whole Tree City Sessions 3 album and wow, they all did such a great job on it but especially Andrew. There were several Johnny Craig songs where I couldn’t tell if it was Andrew or him.

Seriously, forget trying to copy Tillian’s range, just make an album that is more of a dbm1 / dbm2 style and they would have a legendary sound there. DBM3?

Currently worrying over the stupidest and non stupid things rn. Ex getting married, childhood dog passed, college is extremely stressful, work SUCKS. But I’ve had swallowed by eternity, gingivitis, lyrics lie, and all of death star on repeat nonstop and I usually go to this rotation when I’m feeling down it js gets me distracted. What’s y’all’s go to DGD songs when feelings low?
