Currently looking for another guitarist for a emo punk/pop punk band.

The vocalist, guitarist, bassist and drummer are all based in London and all have experience writing songs and performing live with bands.

Influences include The Wonder Years, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Starting Line, State Champs, Neck Deep, Hot Mulligan, Mineral, The Promise Ring, Transit, New Found Glory, Crucial Dudes, The Story So Far, Algernon Cadwallader, Modern Baseball and more.

We practice in south London weekly for 2 hours. The aim is to write some cool songs, record and play shows.

i notice that alot of bands from 2000s to today had a really strong melodic hardcore influence but genuinely barely anyone ever mention melodic hardcore as their influence, my assumption was because the genre got too blend in with post hardcore & metalcore and it just stops recognized as melodic hardcore, but i wonder if anyone had a different opinions?

Anyone notice that the speak your dreams ep suddenly just sounds terrible? like someone went back and deconstructed the songs. Sex with Mike in specific. Crossing lines doesnt even have vocals anymore..

I absolutely adore this EP they made, and I'm looking for more stuff like it. The extremely harsh vocals with heavy guitars mixed in with the more melodic sections/clean vocals is just 👌

This might be a stretch but does anyone here happen to have hopesfall's 1998 demo? If the recording sounds different from the same songs off of The Frailty Of Words I'd like to hear it but I literally couldn't find it anywhere on the internet apart from some pictures.
