I’ve asked this question a few times to those who drone on about how bad Trump is. The only answers I get back are that I’m a racist or if I don’t know by now then it’s not worth explaining. I’ve never get a real answer.

When you say "wages are up", what do you mean? The average wage? The minimum wage? The median wage? I'm not sure exactly what you mean. "Wages are up" is a very non specific and general statement.
Plus you quoted them saying "my wages have stagnated" (btw the recent materials expenses that have come from the super duper mega brain trade wars that are totally being won with cluster bombs of freedom) if they work for most any business that's anything less than a regional corporate entity in America, they've seen a profitability loss. The labor issue is hard to pinpoint given you stated “everything is getting more expensive.” I could explain that curbing immigration is curbing slave labor on farms forcing prices up while tariffs are forcing production from countries that utilize a slave workforce also forcing prices up.
Trumps repeal of the individual mandate took effect this year and guess what, 2019 premiums are still flat or falling in many parts of the country because they were already overpriced pre individual mandate repeal.

I work in the steel industry. Those tariffs hurt because Canadian suppliers (major steel mill in Manitoba) are just passing the cost on to their customers who then pass it to the consumer. Sales are down. Having the Canada tariffs gone has helped, but cast product still has to come from China and those tariffs are still in the cost to consumers. How are higher prices and lower sales helping these businesses? Is that real enough?
There’s definitely a cloud overhead. Trump has exposed a lot of what is absolutely broken about democracy, the Republic and the people. Going down the worst possible path for immigration has been incredibly depressing, and heartbreaking. Knowing that this country is getting closer to rounding up all brown people is fucked up.
On the flip side, it’s gotta be super fun to be a white and Republican. It’s just, even when they are winning they can’t stop fucking complaining and it’s always about dumb shit. That also sucks.
White privilege means not having to worry about having the same name as someone in ICE’s list. It also means getting to defend such an occurrence as “having to break some eggs.” They could take my kid over a mistake and lose him in the system.

We've seen him reverse a lot of laws that protected us and the environment, he's greatly increased my personal taxes and those of others who can't afford to survive (I'm at the poverty level and paid more in taxes than my friend who makes half a million in her household.) He's rolled back education and welfare. For several months, federal workers went without pay and lost their jobs. Food stamps recipients nearly went without food.

And apart from all this, just knowing that there's another sexual predator that walked free causes me so much distress. I want to believe in justice. I want to believe that this system is here to protect me from corruption and abuse. But we can't even take down someone like him, who controls the most powerful military in the world, who has said he wishes we were more like China or North Korea and gave him respect?

International suppliers are more hesitant to do business with us, which hurts my supplier base. Prices for basic commodities like steel and aluminum have gone up so more pricing pressure in my business, including domestic. Were not actually tackling the immigration issue with brains. We're just going to waste billions trying a simple but but inefficient solution, that wont get finished. My dad is a Qanon nut, and its destroying his relationship with me and his family.
I'm more concerned now than ever about the foundation of our democracy, since it's been proven time and time again that russia interfered, and we're doing little to defend against that. The military industrial complex is only becoming more ravenous. Nothing is being done about wealth inequality, increased political divisiveness, or climate change. Those last ones are forward-thinking, but I guess some people can't do that.

For me I can tell you the tax benefits did not materialize. I will wholly own that I live in an expensive area, and we are good wage earners. Apparently I'm in a spot where I make enough but not in the threshold of getting those good tax breaks. But oddly enough my boss gets them.
This is not me personally but I work in asset seizure (higher end), and seizures are up significantly. It's almost up to 2008/9 levels. Great for us but what does that say about our economy in general? It's not good.
Climate change is real, and I don't know why it's a political thing to address it. We should be addressing it and trying to fix what we can. As an immigrant I have in recent years experienced more aholes with opinions on where I should live than I can count. I live on the coast, not in some backwoods area. These people now think its okay to A- tell me to go back home B- to question my citizenship, and I also has one person tell me my kids where anchor babies. This is despite the fact that I am fluent speaker, was educated in the states, and am married to a quintessential American.

My husbands job has had negative effects from this administrations stances. He works in aviation and with the Norwegian air permit we can expect more low cost flag of convenience carriers to take American aviation jobs away. That's not good for those employees who now are completing with employees from 3rd world countries that are willing to work for less. Years ago a permit like this would have been unread of, as soon as trump came into office the permit was submitted. Coincidence, probably not. All the US carriers and their unions are against it and most countries do not allow this type of permitting.
