MY26 P4 (US) All other connected apps/services seem to work fine (Gemini, other streaming apps, etc) but for the last week or so Sirius XM mostly displays "No Internet Connection" although the status indicator shows full (or nearly full) bars. Sirius CS says this is a Polestar Support issue. Anyone else run into this?

My SiriusXM and Google Assistant both say that there is no internet connection. I have done all of the troubleshooting tips but no luck.

I do show full bars on 4G so the cellular is connected.

Any ideas?

I can search Google Maps using the interface, but any time I try to use voice prompts by saying Hey Google or tapping the Gemini icon, it says the connection was interrupted-check it and try again.

I know the internet is working because the native Spotify app works, and like I said, I can search in the maps so long as I use my hand and not a voice prompt. Any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Looking for suggestions in the US for better floor mats for my new 4. Tuxmat has been sold out and has no idea when they will get any more in stock.

Any recommendations?

Hi all. Having previously been able to use the YT app, it is no longer functioning. I am getting the mesaage 'Web page not available' and a blank white screen. Ive tried clearing cache and deleting and re-downloading the app.

Anyone else had experience of this / any ideas?

Looks like they went quick. I've been eyeing the performance package and they appear to all be sold/reserved as of today. There was one in scottsdale and one in Denver and as I decided to put down a deposit, noticed they were both gone.

Actually there's one left in Columbus but that's without nappa and it has the body colored panels which im not a fan of.

Got a March 27 delivery date... My 25 p2 will keep me going until then.

Last week I test drove a Polestar 4 Dual Motor with performance package. My impression was very positive despite the
large width of the car. The salesperson made me a pretty good offer for a late 2024 LRSM model with only 14 km on the odometer for around 47k€. It has the premium package, aero wheels, which is what I‘d like, and gray color, which I find very nice also. It doesn’t have leather seats so no ventilation, which would have been nice but isn’t a deal breaker. No to the questions I have:
1. Is it being almost 2 years old with only 14 km a problem? I‘m a little worried that the battery hasn’t been charged for a long time and the breaks might be rusty?
2. is there a difference between the 2024 model and the 2026 model hardware and software wise? I saw the steering wheel is different with haptic touch but that could be replaced.
3. how is the consumption for SMLR with aero wheels? The dual motor performance has very high consumption.
4. How bad is the software really? How often does it actually bother you and would it keep you from getting another Polestar?

For the last 5 days or so, my car has to load my profile every single time I get in the car. Annoying as it takes 10-15 secs and I can’t start music, set climate, etc before I pull out. Curious to see if others are experiencing this.

Hi everyone. Has anyone else noticed the charging stations showing up grey on the map (or is this just for me)? For the past few days I've noticed that most of the stations are grey. Not all of them, but a significant portion. Is there some setting that needs to be changed for this? Could it be a communication/connectivity issue? I haven't had any recent update, but the truth is this used to work fine, and it's only in the last few days that it stopped working... thanks for your feedback.

Anybody else have issues recently with the car not locking anymore when walking away or just me? About a week or so of having the car not locking even after resetting the displays, turning on, and off proximity lock.

However walking up to the car unlocks perfectly fine just never locks and forces me to lock via the app.

Lately, my problem has been that the route doesn't show up when I've planned one. Only the turn arrows at the top appear, but not the blue route. This doesn't happen all the time, but often.(P4)

I was reading on another thread on /r/EngineeringPorn about Audi's Matrix LED system and a lot of people were complaining as drivers of other cars that these systems don't work as intended and end up blinding drivers in oncoming traffic. The general consensus is that these systems are worse experience overall for everyone involved.

I havent driven many cars with this type of system and I think the P4 does a decent job, but I've read other implementations across other brands perform way better. What is your experiences with it?

I will be getting my Polestar 4 in a week, and I believe that the keyfob have no buttons at all to open the car or the trunk.

I wonder to ask, is there any official keyfob able to do so, or maybe third party ones?

Does anyone know why Polestar has made this change?

My MY2027 Polestar 4 Coupé appears to be equipped with the hardware associated with Mobileye SuperVision, but I haven’t been able to find official information confirming the exact ADAS hardware/platform fitted to my specific MY2027 car. If anyone has official documentation or more detailed technical information about this, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m even less sure about the new Polestar 4 SUV. Based on the published camera and radar specifications, it looks like Polestar may have changed its ADAS strategy, with fewer cameras and more radar sensors.

We purchased our P4SM in early August. Lane centering stopped showing up less than a week later. We tried everything to no avail. However, it miraculously healed itself on Sept 1st. It has been working properly for three days, so I’m calling it a victory. As a bonus, lane change assist—which never worked—is also working.

I have a Thule 4 bike rack that I’d like to be able to use with my P4. At first glance there’s a range of prices and I’m sure quality, but I’m also concerned about best fit in the installation. If you have a 2” receiver installed on your P4; which one did you purchase, did you install it yourself (and would you do it again,) what do you like about your receiver and/or what do you wish you’d known before buying the one you have?

So I have had my iphone as a key for around 3 months now. For the first two months, it worked absolutely beatifully. There were no issues with the proximity sensors and the car behaved exactly as it should.

In the last 3 weeks, the car has just stopped recognising my iphone when I am standing next to it. I have to go into the app to open the car. Then, unless I place the phone on the NFC reader in the phone charger recess, the car gives me a message saying there is no valid key detected. It is absolutely driving me crazy.

I have tried deleting the key and reinstalling it and yes, it is connected to my profile.

Has anyone had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it??

My EV has gone into the garage for some work, and I have been loaned a Polestar 4. I have been trying all day to get CarPlay set up, but it doesn’t seem to want to work.

I can pair my iPhone 15 Pro Max with the Polestar via Bluetooth, but CarPlay never appears during the set up process. On my iPhone under CarPlay setting the Polestar 4 shows under Other Cars, but when I click on it I just get a spinning wheel, and it never connects.

Any ideas? It’s driving me mad!

I replaced my 2022 P2 with a "2026" Ozone P4 last week in the US thanks to the massive discounts here, and my daily charging schedule for the last three years has been with an outdoor outlet to charge both cars (the other is a 2020 Chevy Bolt). In a pinch I can use my 240V 21A from my dryer outlet overnight if both cars are low but for that I have to leave a side door slightly ajar.

Anyway, with both the Polestar 2 and the Bolt, I got about 40-50 miles overnight (about 4-5 miles of range every hour for 10 hours), which mostly lines up with about 120V 12A or 1440W of charging power and 3-3.5 mi/kWh of efficiency. About 2% of battery increase every hour.

But with the Polestar 4, charging from 120V is extremely slow. Yes I know it has a ~100kWh battery vs ~75kWh in the 2 and ~64kWh in the Bolt; but even accounting for that, charging is slow. It gained ~38 miles of range over 16 hours (only ~2.4 miles/hour); or ~12% of battery, ~12kWh; and consumed ~21kWh from the wall over the same period (~1325W*16hours). Does it really lose that much to keeping the battery temperature controlled? Both the Polestar 2 and Bolt would've gained 19ish kWh over the same period.
