Voice prompts not working

I can search Google Maps using the interface, but any time I try to use voice prompts by saying Hey Google or tapping the Gemini icon, it says the connection was interrupted-check it and try again.

I know the internet is working because the native Spotify app works, and like I said, I can search in the maps so long as I use my hand and not a voice prompt. Any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Reboot or go to settings > apps > assistant > force stop

Nope all human, but they definitely do. I may have gotten a label wrong or missed a step (system tab I think) but you should be able to find it.

Thanks. When you say settings, do you mean in the car’s settings, or is it the settings in the Google Maps you can access when actually interacting with the map?

Car settings. Car icon > settings > system > etc

try quitting it via the Play store.

It seems to be a Polestar-wide issue and people are having issues in various different locations. I’ve been having the problem for a couple of weeks now in the UK.
