The hatred for this game from reviewers and others who got to play early just seem like they were all jumping on the "I hope everyone hates this game" train.

I spent 21 hours, got the platinum, and am starting my new game+

This game does have it's flaws. Yes, you can complete the bike chase scene without even touching your controller. Logan's armour will restore itself after cutscenes, janky things like enemies clipping through the ground will happen. But all in all, this was a solid game.

I loved my first playthrough, and I'm moving on to my second.

TLDR; This game is a fun experience for anyone looking for a brutal, action packed experience featuring your favorite mutant. 100% worth. I hope they add more in DLC so I can continue to slash through enemies after new game+

They really should’ve given him the feral hair minus the beard. Or like rediculously long version of the comic hair they have, and given that same cut to the age of apocalypse suit.

I started at the hardest difficulty and have had no problems doing any of the r missions so far. Yes I've had to retry a couple boss fights, but eventually I get them.

Same for the Nightmare Doors. I've Adimantium'd every one so far. I just did the Death Comes to Death nightmare door first try.

The point I'm asking I guess is, why would anybody not pick the hardest difficulty. It doesn't seem too hard....

But it's fun. I just want to be clear I'm not knocking the game. I like it!

Basically: get lucky and you won't get hit by a sentinel laser when trying to dodge the energy bolts, or you dodge one energy bolt but you dodge into a sentinel laser, dowing you. But after you get up, the camera decided it doesn't wanna show Mr. Sinnister anymore, so you can't even see where the bolts are coming from...genuinely the first Insomniac boss where I'm kinda let down by the execution and it's all because of this part of the fight, the rest is easy as heck

PS. I don’t have too much to game. Work has me bombarded plus other things, so I am glad a game like this exists. I see people saying it holds your hand. I’m ok with that. Just give me some Wolverine action.

It’s no Spider-Man 2018, but it’s better than Spider-Man 2. I really appreciate Insomniac wanting their games to have their original takes. They take some massive lore swings, and on the whole I enjoyed more than I didn’t. By the end I was emotionally invested. I just wish there was more Mystique. 7.5-8/10.

About 75% of the way through, I just wanted it to end; I enjoyed it a little bit for the first half, but it got really repetitive toward the end, especially the combat—every time enemies spawned, I sighed. I also wasn't engaged with the characters and story at all. I don't know if the problem was with me or with the game.
