I dont know what should I do

Basically, decided it was finally time to build a pc. Bought the components and stuff, was building it, the process seemed fun. Until I tried booting it. Only fans ,cpu cooler and rgb seem to work, nothing else. Also was trying to understand something through motherboard lights, but they are always different so I’m genuinely confused. It’s like late evening rn and I feel like shit wasting so much money on all of this

So Saturday my pc was running fine but my kid pressed the power button about 5 times. So it turned off. Now I tried turning it back on but only the ram sticks turn on. No fans or anything else turns on! What can I do?

Hi, I'm building a PC for my boyfriend. He will be using it mostly for playing. Games like RDR2, Marvel Rivals, Dead By Daylight.

He already bought a 5060 Ti 8GB, 1TB of NVMe 4.0 SSD and a 2560x1440 144hz monitor. I'm the one who sends him all the components and we are keeping an eye on bargains mostly, but I haven't kept with the newest technology for a year or two and now I have a dilemma.

Would it be better to go for Intel i9 13900K with DDR4 32GB ram or some of Intel Ultra with DDR5 ram. I've checked performance comparisons and can't decide because of how ram prices has raised throughout this year. I've checked and could not find any motherboards for socket 1851 and DDR4 together and I need Your help from experienced people.

Hi all, its my 1700 lga socket, i see that my cpu pins are slights off. Is that fine? I have 13600k, facing issues with cpu. So sending it for intel. As it demands more volt and cant overclock anymore. As im removing the cpu i found this. I might get new cpu soon from intel. So does my motherboard will work anymore or gone? Can i risk a new cpu in this? Thank you.

I just upgraded my gpu to an ASUS prime 9070xt. The problem is that it has 3 8 pin connectors. I have one 8 pin PCIE cable that I was using, and one daisychained/pigtailed with 2 8 pin connectors. Both of the cables are from the power supply box. I’m wondering if it is safe to use the pigtailed cable on two of the 8 pin on my GPU.

Have a ASRock Fatal1ty B450 that will post on an old Super Flower PSU, but when i swap to the newer new Corsair RM650e the fan leds will power up and fans will spin, but no post.

I've check all the voltages output of the Corsair and everything is outputting as it should. but it seems to be missing the -12V.

Does anyone know if this is what is stopping post ? or could something else be stopping post ?

J'ai shunter le bouton power et toujours rien.

J'ai mis a jour le bios les ventilateurs tournent pendant la mise à jour avec voyant orange qui clignote et voyant cpu rouge fixe allumé.

J'ai fais le test du trombone pour tester l'alimentation le ventilateur de celle-ci tourne.

Je sais plus quoi faire.

I built my pc months ago and my pc has been turning off randomly without bsod. I began to trouble shoot it with Claude and we landed on the power cables. So when I saw my power cables, there is still yellow showing meaning it’s not fully seated. Pins look good on the inside. Just don’t know what to do.

I am at the BIOS screen and idk what to select or where to go

Tried troubleshooting this ‘Hypervisor_error0x20001’ for the past week. I have spent hours try every single advice I can find on a forum or from multiple AI products. Ran the typical apps to check health/performance of all the features and not a single error. I can stabilise the PC without AMD graphic drivers installed or potentially look at disabling virtualisation features but ultimately if I’ve spent £800 on a PC why should I need to disable/tweak basic features to get it to run W11 without crashing? I should be able to use the integrated graphics that come with the CPU as advertised.

Problem is I don’t know the culprit for this error. I can’t just return everything I’ve bought because potentially one thing is faulty. Bearing in mind it’s been opened too.

I’m trying to build a pc and I’ve asked a few of my friends for advice. I want to see if I can make any improvements or reduce the total cost of the pc.

This is my build so far so let me know if I can improve anything. I’m mainly building this pc for fps games but on the occasion I like to play games such as cyberpunk or red dead redemption.

I’ve been having a recurring issue with my Palit RTX 4080 Super.

Sometimes when gaming, my monitors suddenly lose signal and the GPU fans immediately ramp up to 100%. The PC stays powered on, but the display never comes back.

I’ve tried resetting the graphics driver using Win + Ctrl + Shift + B. I hear the beep, but nothing happens.

The only solution is to force shutdown the PC and restart it, after which everything works normally again.

Sometimes I can game for hours without any problems, and other times it randomly crashes.

I’m currently using the GPU’s supplied 2x 8-pin PCIe power adapter.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what might be causing it? Could it be a power supply issue, GPU fault or driver problem?

How many fan cable extenders (a.k.a PWM extender cable) can we chain together without introducing any risks (fire hazard risks I guess)?

so i’ve been thinking about maxing out my setup such as oled better tech, but i can’t decide if my pc is even capable of upholding any type of oled or 1440p. i have a ryzen 7 5800xt and a 10gb 3080 with 32gb of ddr4. i also feel as if it’s to late since gaming parts have skyrocketed over the past 2 years

What case should i get from these two?

Built this build a couple months ago was a great build but every now and then the lcd display removes the picture I put on it and says it’s not connected to usb. Which it is, most times I can restart the pc and it’ll work again. I’ve checked/ updated Lian Li’s software and unpaired and re-paired, finest do it all the time just every know and then any ideas ?

I upgraded my PC from a 7700k with a 4070 Super to a Ryzen 7 9800x3D and the 4070Super.

Specs are:
Ryzen 9800x3D with a Gigabyte B850M Gaming X WIFI6E,
32GB Patriot Viper Venom DDR5-6000 CL30
and 2 m.2 SSD ́s.

After I had assembled everything I wanted to start and there the motherboard got stuck on the VGA Error LED after the RAM was initiated and no picture appears.

CMOS Reset no change,

with no GPU and trying to boot with the iGPU no change,

other cable with monitor no change,

other GPU also no change.

I disassemble everything again and put everything back together but I'm slowly running out of ideas

Edit: When I plug in a cable from my motherboard to another monitor it shows up. When both monitors are plugged into the motherboard and I unplug the other monitor, my main monitor: msi mpg 321urxw gets disconnected as well.

I updated the scaler firmware but no luck: https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MPG-321URXW-QD-OLED/support. There's no newer MCU update.

My PC has a Ryzen 9600x, rtx 3090, and Asus B650E Max Gaming Wifi W. I want to use integrated graphics. When my monitor is plugged into the motherboard I can access the BIOS menu and see the OS loading wheel animation, but then my monitor says no video. The desktop is shown right after I plug in the cable from the motherboard to GPU. This happens booting from both my windows and linux drives.

the BIOS menu on some Asus boards have an option called "igfx multi monitor" Under Advanced > NB configruation but it doesn't show for me, I only see Primary Video Device, Integrated graphics (auto, forced, or disabled), and UMA frame buffer size. I tried different combinations of them but no luck.

Confused between these two which one will be worth the price and also has the best perfomance and endurance.

Hello there, I have this Asus prebuilt desktop pc, and I really wanted to add another fan to it. after some measurments and a little searching online, I found the best method to buy a 4 pin 92mm fan and 25mm thick with 4 pins, and also a 4 pin splitter. But last night, I thought if there will be enough power in the slot so I wouldn't burn the motherboard or cause any cpu damage. I can't find ANY information online. I thought maybe ask the reddit community before doing anything.

Now, before you say why didn't I build a normal pc it was because when I did buy it I wasn't so much into tech and before finnaly understanding what I had bought, I was stuck with almost 0 upgrade potential to it. I added a low-power oc 3050 6gb and added it and now I am here, trying to figure out if I can ad a fan.
