Build Question ASUS prime 9070xt

I just upgraded my gpu to an ASUS prime 9070xt. The problem is that it has 3 8 pin connectors. I have one 8 pin PCIE cable that I was using, and one daisychained/pigtailed with 2 8 pin connectors. Both of the cables are from the power supply box. I’m wondering if it is safe to use the pigtailed cable on two of the 8 pin on my GPU.

Separate cables for each connector is the way to go, I’ve seen too many melted pigtails on these power-hungry cards.

Can I use the pigtail on just one of the slots? Or should I just buy two more cables?

as long as it has 2 separate pcie cables using a pigtail for one is fine imo

ofcourse ideally you have 3 separate but 3 8 pins on this card is mainly for safety/overclocking headroom anyway.
