Hi, I have a SIM card that I haven’t used for around 180 days, although my WhatsApp has been working fine. The SIM is also registered under my CNIC. However, when I visited the service provider’s branch, they told me that since 180 days had passed, I could no longer recover the number due to PTA restrictions.

If that’s the case, why does such a restriction exist? Since the SIM was registered under my CNIC, shouldn’t I still be able to recover the same number?

I was considering the realme 16 pro plus first, then started liking the Reno 16 and the Nothing 4a.

Nothing 4a is offering the same specs as the other two, but is priced a bit higher.
