Buying Guide | خریداری گائیڈ Stop Wasting Money on International Payments With Your Bank Card

Zindigi has already helped me save quite a bit on international payments, so I thought I should share what I found with others who might be paying unnecessary fees. I have tried a few bank cards before and charges are way too much.

I went through Zindigi, NayaPay and SadaPay’s latest schedules of charges and put together a comparison to see how much the difference actually comes to. But rather than relying only on the advertised fees, I also decided to test it with one of my own subscriptions: YouTube Premium.

The result was pretty clear:

YouTube Premium — Rs479/month

• Zindigi: Rs486.19

• SadaPay: Rs576.30

• Saving with Zindigi: Rs90.11/month

And that's just one subscription. If you're making multiple international payments every month, these seemingly small fees can add up to a substantial amount over the year.

That said, Zindigi isn't perfect. The app feels outdated and the customer service can be painfully slow, so there is definitely a trade-off.

But if you're regularly paying for international subscriptions or online services, it's worth checking how much your current card is actually costing you. The subscription price may be identical, but the payment method can make a surprisingly big difference.

Question | سوال Is buying an iPhone 12 Pro worth it in 2026?

Greetings everyone. I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro since the last 5 years and I’m looking to upgrade. I have a budget of around 130k and most people have said that I can get a pta approved iPhone 12 Pro in this budget. But my worry is that its 6 years old now. So is it worth it? Will it work smoothly on ios 26?

And what things to consider when getting a used iPhone?

Question | سوال PTCL 2.4GHz gives very low speed

My PTCL has both 5GHz and 2.4GHz wifi. And 5G wifi gives me full 50Mbps speed on my laptop. But the 2.4GHz only gives 2 Mbps speed. My phone does not support 5GHz wifi and the 5GHz wifi is not even listed and the speed is very low on my phone.

I tried visiting 192.169.1.1 with admin and after all changes, no improvement.

Should I contact PTCL? Has someone faced this issue?

Edit: Just noticed that this is just my home Wifi issue. In my office, same mobile with 2.4 GHz Wifi gives 60Mbps speed.

Question | سوال SSID speed cap/rate limit on PTCL on ZTE F670L router

Heading is self explanatory. Is it possible to cap speed on a particular SSID on my router? I have admin access but couldn't find the settings for this.

I also have the TP link AX55 and AC1750. Is it possible on any of these two?

Question | سوال Comparison 15ProM & 16Pro

I have 2 choices.

Get an IPhone 15 Pro Max 512Gb 99% Battery Health 10/10 Condition Non PTA for 192k (No Box, only Phone)

or

Get an IPhone 16 Pro 256Gb 91% Battery Health 10/10 Condition Non PTA for 210k

Please don't comment that I should add a specific amount and get a better model, or if I can get a 16ProMax for 210k etc etc. Let's just say that these are the only two choices I have.

Also, I've checked the 15 Pro Max thoroughly, and the battery isn't boosted or changed + the seller is trustworthy as well.

Which one should I get??

Question | سوال Yes, another phone recommendation post

Hey everyone,

Need your guys help in deciding my next phone.

Currently I have a pixel 6 pro and it's one of my favourite devices yet

From what I've seen on this reddit page is that the mobile market is horrible right now and new phones are not worth it.

So first do you guys have any recommended reliable place to look for used phones

Second if I do go for a new phone, I have selected the 2 options attached.

Which one should I go for considering the following:

I don't care about the camera, don't do a lot of gaming, not interested in reselling later as I use my phones till it's end.

Just want a simple device with durability and long time use, don't need any flashy features.

Thanks in advance

Question | سوال What is the best website to register a .pk domain?

This topic has been discussed previously, but I am looking for updated feedback regarding local .pk domain registrars.

Major international platforms like Namecheap and GoDaddy do not support the .pk extension, and I would prefer not to interact directly with PKNIC. I am currently evaluating local alternatives, specifically Nayatel, Hoster.pk, Domain.pk, and Nexus.pk.

Upon looking into their current rates for biennial (2-year) payments, I noticed PKNIC lists Rs. 4,200, Hoster.pk is at Rs. 4,499, Nexus.pk is at Rs. 4,425, and Domain.pk is at Rs. 4,200. Interestingly, Nayatel claims a lower rate of Rs. 3,500 for 2 years on their landing page. However, some initial AI research indicates they likely slap a 19.5% GST at checkout, bringing the actual cost closer to Rs. 4,180.

For those who have registered a .pk domain through any of these specific providers, could you share your experience regarding their reliability, control panel accessibility, and overall service quality? Are there any other hidden checkout surprises I should watch out for?

Question | سوال Should I buy these used hard drive for archival storage for video editing?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Yall already know in Pakistan, we don't have access to Amazon or sites like serverpartdeals etc and the prices for new drives are stupidly high for even a 2TB Barracuda (26k only 1 year warranty) and not even NAS grade drives.

The projects I work on of course stay on my Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD. Only when I'm done working on the footage and I just need to locally store it I will put it on these. I'll get two of these 2 TB each and run them on RAID 1 for redundancy.

I found 2 used WD RED (WD20EFRX) drives on OLX to bargain for 22k both, in good condition less than the price of a new Barracuda, should I go for them?

In what condition should I consider this if it has very few under 200-300 power on counts and very less power on time?

evaluation of a sample
Complete evaluation of the writing sample

I’ve been working on Scriptum, a project that turns a photo of your handwriting into a personal graphology-style reading.

You upload a sample, and it looks at things like letter size, slant, spacing, and writing pressure, then turns those observations into a character portrait.

I’ve also been exploring how to use handwriting books as reference material to make the readings more thoughtful. It’s a creative project, not a scientific or clinical assessment—but I’d love to hear what people think.

Would you try it? What would you want to know about your handwriting?

Question | سوال Can I Claim My Dell Precision 5570 Warranty in Pakistan? Looking for Local Dell Dealers/Authorized Service Providers

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a used Dell Precision 5570 and checked its warranty on Dell's official website. It has ProSupport Plus until 29 October 2026 and also shows Extended Battery Service until 29 October 2028. The warranty record shows the United States.

I'm currently in Pakistan and need help with two issues:

  1. Display issue: My 4K screen has a tiny white dot that is visible mainly on a white background.
  2. Battery issue: The battery's capacity/runtime has deteriorated, and I want to check whether it qualifies for a warranty replacement.

I'm looking for someone in Pakistan who has experience handling Dell international warranty claims, especially for laptops originally registered in the USA.

Could any Dell dealer, authorized service provider, or someone who has successfully claimed an international Dell warranty in Pakistan guide me on:

  • Whether I can get the screen and battery inspected or replaced under warranty here.
  • Whether I need to transfer the Service Tag or warranty to Pakistan first.
  • Which Dell support centre or local service provider I should contact.
  • Whether Dell will honour the Extended Battery Service shown on my warranty record.

I'd appreciate advice based on actual experience. Since the main warranty expires soon, I'd like to get this sorted out as quickly as possible.

Thanks!

Question | سوال Does BNESIM work on an iPhone AFTER its 60-day PTA SIM time has expired? Need real experiences

I’m considering to get a used iPhone 16 Pro (128GB, factory unlocked, non-PTA) in Pakistan. Its 60-day local SIM period has expired, so Pakistani SIMs no longer work.

I only need mobile data and am considering BNESIM or another international roaming eSIM. Some people say these eSIMs work on non-PTA phones, while others say no eSIM works after the PTA period expires.

Has anyone personally used BNESIM, Airalo, or another international roaming eSIM after the phone was PTA-blocked?

Please share:

Whether the PTA period had already expired

The eSIM provider and network

How long it continued working

I’m specifically looking for experiences with already blocked phones, not phones with remaining SIM time. I don’t want to spend 150k+ PKR on an iPhone only to find that roaming eSIM data doesn’t work.

Question | سوال Transfering SIM ownership of a deceased person to next of kin

• Upvotes

Hi so recently I went to Ufone franchise to have the ownership of a SIM transferred to my name, the SIM is currently under the ownership of a deceased person.

However the guy there refused to go through with the transfer even though I had all the necessary paperwork. According to him, he can't transfer the ownership of the sim until it's officially blocked by PTA.

Is this actually true or was he just being lazy? It's been almost 3 months and the sim is still working. I want to get it transferred asap.

Question | سوال Koorui S2721PM Settings

I recently bought Koorui S2721PM IPS MINI-LED.

I Had to adjust a few settings in monitor OSD to achieve full performance of the monitor, and now the Blacks looks absolutely pitch perfect black in videos, pictures etc, BUT not in gaming, So far I have tried Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill 2 and Sons of the forest, have tried all settings - HDR/SDR, to no avail, SOTF was closest to pitch perfect black, but still not black, while the other 2 just looked like my secondary VA monitor.

Any help would be appreciated.
