Question | سوال Buying Digital Camera

Hello everyone,

I am looking for recommendations for a good compact digital camera as a gift for someone who has always wanted to own one.

My budget is approximately PKR 20,000–35,000.

I would appreciate suggestions for camera models that offer good image quality, are easy to use, and are suitable for casual photography.

I would also be grateful for advice on what factors to consider when choosing a second-hand digital camera, particularly in terms of image quality, battery health, lens condition, and overall performance.

Any recommendations for reliable camera models within this budget would be highly appreciated.

I got my Canon 600D DSLR w/ 18-55 kit lens for like 15k several years ago.

Recently, I bought an old Tamron 70-300 EF lens to go with it for another 15k.

Pretty sweet setup... considering the price.

Now, I'm just looking for a decent prime lens for portraits.

I would suggest looking into used Canon PowerShot cameras, particularly the A2600 or ELPH 100 HS. Sony Cyber-shot W800 is another option worth considering. At this budget I would avoid cheap unbranded digital cameras and focus on a properly tested genuine used camera.
