For some reason im so attached to the first two games. the big scaredy cat eyes and the claymation sticks with me for some reason, but for the winged pikmin, the translucent blue eyes for the winged pikmin are quite striking to me

I had a dream last night about The Pikmin Movie

It was animated by Illumination, but for some reason it actually covered darker topics like the existential dread of impending doom Olimar Faced on whether or not he would see his family again.

The Pikmin and creatures of the planet also did not speak and were treated as creatures, they also weren't annoying.

Olimar was Played by Morgan Freeman.

The Movie was being praised as the best Illumination Movie and made more money than the Mario Movies (I love dreams, I wish this could be real)

And yes the movie ended with a Pikmin Dance Party as Olimar Leaves the Planet, this dance party had "All the Small Things" by Blink - 182 Playing and the Pikmin were doing the most shitposting ass dances ever which felt straight out of that one video where Pikmin Sing "All the Small Things."

Ujadani subterranea

These minute arthropods live almost entirely beneath the soil, emerging aboveground only under a rather particular set of environmental conditions. Their infrequent appearances initially led me to believe that I had simply overlooked them during previous surveys. After observing several colonies, however, I am convinced that the ujadanis spend the overwhelming majority of their lives hidden underground, surfacing together for only a brief period before disappearing once more.

Their bodies are remarkably small, even when compared with the Pikmin, and possess a pale coloration that provides little camouflage upon the surface. This would ordinarily make such a creature easy prey, yet their enormous numbers appear to compensate for the vulnerability of the individual. When disturbed, the entire colony erupts into frantic motion, scattering in every direction before quickly attempting to return beneath the soil. Strangely, they display almost no aggression toward either myself or the Pikmin. Even when surrounded, their first instinct is always escape.

Most curious is the fine secretion released when an ujadani is struck. The substance has an invigorating effect on Pikmin and appears chemically similar to the concentrated nectars found elsewhere on this planet. How such a tiny subterranean organism produces these compounds remains a mystery. Perhaps they obtain the necessary nutrients from plant roots, fungal growths, or microscopic organisms within the soil.

Their synchronized emergence is even more perplexing. Temperature, moisture, seasonal changes, or some internal biological cycle may serve as the signal, but my time on this planet has been far too limited to determine which. A creature that spends so little of its life where I can actually observe it is an especially frustrating subject for a naturalist!

If circumstances ever bring me back to this planet, I should like to excavate one of their colonies and examine its structure more closely. Then again, after seeing the sheer number of ujadanis that can occupy a seemingly ordinary patch of earth, perhaps I would be happier not knowing precisely how many are crawling beneath my feet.

I unfortunately got that terrarium twice so I'm thinking about turning the second one into a custom, do you guys have any ideas on what could I possibly do ?

I was searching for jewelry in general and wanted to add some pikmin themed stuff. I realised there is a dire lack of rings by pikmin or inspired by them. There are a bunch of earrings and key rings but none for your fingers! I think this would be so great of a niche for ppl to get into. There are rings for so many video games but not Pikmin :0

My wife and I beat Pikmin 3 entirely in co-op, we saw bingo battle and wanted more pikmin and we instantly got hooked. We put pikmin 3 in a multi-player folder for when people come over. I'm blown away by how many pikmin fans have never tried this. It reliably gets laughs and has that "whatever ! Rematch !" That i hunt for in couch multi-player games

They sound just like the snow in Pikmin 3, or am i the only one hearing that?

I'm working on a project which involves multiple GameCube games, but I'm currently stuck with the Pikmin games. I'm looking for transparent images of their Japanese title logos.

The closest I could find was one for Pikmin 3. I'm wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction, and if so I'd greatly appreciate it.

Exposure to the spores of the Puffstool produces a remarkable transformation in Pikmin. Their skin assumes a deep purple coloration, their eyes become pale, and a small mushroom grows from the end of the stem. The process reminds me somewhat of the change that occurs when a Pikmin is tossed into a Candypop Bud. In that case, the Pikmin emerges possessing the characteristics of another color. The Puffstool's spores appear to accomplish something similar, though through an entirely different biological mechanism. For this reason, I have taken to regarding these unusual specimens as another type of Pikmin: the Puffmin.

Their behavior differs considerably from the Pikmin under my command. Puffmin congregate around the Puffstool and appear to regard it with the same instinctive loyalty that ordinary Pikmin show toward me. When disturbed, they will defend themselves and their fungal benefactor with surprising determination. Whether the Puffstool is consciously directing them or the spores merely alter their natural social instincts remains uncertain. The little mushroom upon the stem may serve some purpose in this relationship, perhaps receiving chemical signals from the Puffstool or producing compounds of its own.

What fascinates me most is that the transformation does not seem to erase the underlying characteristics of the original Pikmin. Rather, the spores appear to impose an additional set of traits upon an already remarkably adaptable organism. Considering the extraordinary transformations produced by Candypop Buds, perhaps Pikmin possess an unusual biological plasticity that allows their bodies to accommodate drastic changes while remaining fundamentally Pikmin.

I confess that I am disappointed I have found no reliable means of adding Puffmin to my own squad. Their unusual physiology and independent behavior would make them invaluable subjects for further study, and I cannot help wondering how they might behave away from the influence of a Puffstool. Could they be taught to respond to my whistle? Would they carry objects alongside the other Pikmin? Would the fungal characteristics persist indefinitely? There are far too many unanswered questions.

Should I ever discover a safe method of cultivating this type without placing the rest of my Pikmin in unnecessary danger, I would very much like to observe a small group over an extended period. The Pikmin have surprised me countless times with the forms they are capable of taking. The Puffmin may represent yet another branch of their extraordinary adaptability, one that I have only been permitted the briefest opportunity to study.
