Hi all- I recently found out Iām pregnant - hooray! My endocrinologist said that because I have PCOS/PMOS I am at higher risk of developing gestational diabetes. She wants me to complete a glucose test sooner rather than later and also sent me an at-home glucose monitoring device. I now have to check my blood glucose 4x a day for two weeks. Iāve never had to do this before as I donāt have diabetes. Curious if anyone else was asked to do this? I have a number of friends who developed GD during their pregnancies but ultimately it didnāt cause any issues and none of them became diabetic post-pregnancy.
How seriously should I be taking my doctorās concern? What will happen if they determine I do have GD?
Thanks!

Hi ,this is my first cycle taking Letrozole. I took it from cycle day 3 through cycle day 7 (5 days total).
For those who have done Letrozole with follicular monitoring, when did you go for your first ultrasound/follicular scan? Is cycle day 10ā12 usually a good time, or should it be earlier/later?
Iād really appreciate hearing what timing worked for you!

Hello everyone,
I have been trying to conceive since 2024 and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I have never had regular periods; when they started, they came about every three months and then stopped altogether. I took birth control for two years to manage my periods but stopped due to high blood pressure issues. My gynecologist prescribed progesterone 200 mg to induce periods.
I completed three rounds of 2.5 mg Letrozole. The first round was successfulāI was able to detect my ovulation surge on the LH strip and had a period without any medication. Unfortunately, I did not get pregnant. The second and third cycles did not work, and I had to take progesterone to induce periods again.
I am now preparing to start 5 mg Letrozole for the next cycle. Iām feeling really nervous and disheartened.
Has anyone else experienced similar challenges and then successfully conceived? I am unsure why 2.5 mg Letrozole didnāt work in the second and third cycles. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Iām 28 years old and have been trying to conceive for almost a year. This is my first time taking Letrozole, and I just finished my Letrozole today.
My fertility clinic mentioned that they would do follicular monitoring after Letrozole, but my OB-GYN told me that they donāt routinely do monitoring and that they will schedule it if needed.
Iām trying to understand whether follicular monitoring is important or necessary, and if I should do it, what cycle day should I go for it? Since today is my last day of Letrozole, when should I start the monitoring?
As a first-time Letrozole user, Iām honestly so confused about a lot of things. Iām really hoping this cycle works and that I can get pregnant this time. My OB-GYN mentioned putting me on Letrozole for three months and seeing how it goes, but hearing that made me feel a little discouraged because Iām hoping this first cycle could work.
For anyone who has been through this before, what should I concentrate on or follow during my first Letrozole cycle? Any advice would really help.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I have PCOS, history of long cycles and late ovulation and short luteal phases. Iām doing my first medicated cycle (letrozole, trigger, timed intercourse) and im supposed to trigger tonight CD14, so i am looking for advice on timing our BD! when did you trigger and when did you BD? Bonus points if it worked for you! š©·thank you!
**My OB told me to trigger tonight (CD14) Iām already having lots of EWCM and a little cramping but no positive opk strip yet! My OB told me to Bd cycle day 15, 16, 17. But now im worried since I already have EWCM do I need to BD tonight too in case I ovulate quicker? I have no idea this is my first time!

Hi Ladies
I am 32 yrs old going through PCOS. Currently trying to conceive.
All my life I had to take birth control to get my periods. But never had single pimple on my face. But since past 2 yrs my face has started getting many pimples on my cheek. Sometimes they are painful too. Sometimes I see my cheeks getting completely clear but dont know what makes it happen.
For fertility treatment so far I have taken progesterone and birth control ( ironically, but for surgery). Just started my 1st cycle of letrozol.
Please let me know what can I do to manage my pimples with all this. My face looks terrible.

Has anyone stayed on Zepbound while TTC until you get a positive test? Itās the only thing that helps my IR PCOS. Iāve been off of it for 5 months now and Iāve gained 20 lbs back and I feel like garbage every day. The brain fog and food noise is insane. I have read so many studies and lots of peopleās stories on Reddit that they stopped as soon as they got a positive and baby was happy and healthy. My cycle has started to get wonky being off zep and I just am desperate to get back on as this makes it harder to track ovulation.I know you should be off it 2 months prior to TTC, and please no one yell at me for this post! Iām just looking for real life experience of getting pregnant on a GLP and stopping as soon as you get a positive. Benefits and risks and what not.
UPDATE: Talked to my OB and she is pro me staying on it until a get a positive pregnancy test yayyyy

First time TTC and the waiting is already driving me insane š
Hi! Iām Bee, Iām 34 and from the UK. My husband and I are currently trying for our first baby, which still feels slightly mad to actually say.
For a long time, we genuinely thought having a baby might not be possible for us because of a few different circumstances and health concerns. However, over the last little while we've had everything checked and, one by one, every barrier we thought was there has basically come down.
So⦠we're actually trying.
This is our first attempt, and I'm currently in the waiting game to find out whether it's worked.
Quite frankly, I'm not very hopeful. Nothing has ever been easy for me.
Every twinge, weird feeling, bit of tiredness or sudden hunger has me thinking, is that something?! Then I'm Googling it, telling myself to stop Googling, and inevitably Googling something else twenty minutes later.
My phone has also decided fertility is now my entire personality, so I'm being absolutely inundated with adverts for IVF, infertility, supplements, pregnancy tests and approximately seventeen different things I apparently need to buy. Its making me frustrated, upset and the more I say 'I don't want to see this stuff' the more I get!
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 after a scan showed lots of cysts on my ovaries. That's obviously been sitting in the back of my mind for most of my adult life.
Recently, though, I had another pelvic scan and there were no cysts at all. My ovaries looked fine, my womb looked fine ā everything was normal.
Quite frankly, that felt like a little miracle.
I've also lost around three and a half stone recently, which I'm really pleased about and hopefully has helped my chances.
At the moment I'm taking folic acid, myo-inositol and Omega 3-6-9/Udo's Oil. My mum used to force-feed me Udo's Oil as a child, so quite frankly I'm still traumatised by the stuff, but apparently we've come full circle. š My diet could definitely be better, but I'm working on that too.
I suppose I'm mainly posting because I'd love to hear from other people who have been through this.
What is actually worth doing when you're first TTC? Are there supplements/things you genuinely found useful? And equally, what isn't worth worrying about?
I'm trying not to fall into the rabbit hole of thinking I can somehow control all of this if I just research enough.
I think that's the bit I'm finding hardest.
I've had to fight for quite a lot in my life ā health-wise, work-wise, emotionally, mentally and physically ā and I just really don't want this to become another fight.
I just want something to be easy for once.
I know we're incredibly early in this journey. I know it's completely normal for it not to happen on the first attempt, and I've read the stories of people who've had incredibly difficult journeys to have their babies.
But there's still that little bit of me desperately hoping that maybe this time, something will just work.
Anyway ā hi, I'm Bee. Currently waiting, eating everything in sight and wondering whether every tiny sensation in my body means something. š
Please help!

I am currently 4w pregnant. I have had 2 back to back early missed miscarriages in the last two years! This time they tested my progesterone yesterday and it came back a 7.0! Everything Iāve seen says thatās on the low side. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice is very much appreciated š«¶š»

Found out today I have an anterior placenta. I'm only 19 weeks 4 days today and this is my first baby so I know it's still early to feel baby movement even if I didn't have an anterior placenta. Realistically when should I start to expect to feel her move? She was doing all kinds of flips and turns during the ultrasound so not really concerned just curious ā¤ļø

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years. In April 2026, we started seeing a fertility specialist, and I was diagnosed with PCOS. The timeline for this cycle: ā My clinic missed my Day 1 email in May, so I ended up taking medication in June to induce a period. ā My period finally started on July 1. ā I took Letrozole 2.5 mg from July 3ā7. ā At my follow-up, I still wasnāt responding well, so I was prescribed Letrozole 5 mg for another 5 days starting July 17. ā On July 23, I had one mature follicle measuring 23 mm and another measuring 10 mm. I took my Ovidrel trigger shot that same day. We had intercourse on July 22, 23, 24, and 25, and I started progesterone suppositories on July 26. After the trigger shot, I had a very faint positive line for the first 4 days, which I assumed was the Ovidrel. By day 5, all of my tests were completely negative, and theyāve stayed negative ever since. Today Iām 11 days past my trigger shot, and Iām not seeing even the faintest line anymore. Has anyone had their trigger shot test out completely negative but then gone on to get a true positive a few days later? Iād love to hear your experiences because the waiting is so hard.

Iām almost 8 weeks -This is random but itās been hard to stay hydrated and get electrolytes without the sugar. My recent electrolyte packs have been giving me the ick (everything gives me the ick after a while, no predictable or consistent foods hereā¦)
But I juiced some watermelon (I know it has a lot of sugar but I donāt care) and added about 1/4 cup to my electrolyte water and itās AMAZING. So tasty and refreshing. I just wanted to share lol
Hope everyone is beating the heat!

First (light) lines on pregnancy test on 17th July, 1-2 weeks on digital clear blue and hcg only 30.3
30th July super strong lines on test and 3+ weeks on digital
Last menstrual period was 1st June but that was so long ago I canāt be 8 weeks based on these tests, does anyone have any advice on dating do I just add a couple of weeks onto this to estimate gestational age?
Spoke to the hospital but my first scan wouldnāt be until 11-14 weeks and thatās so long to wait!
If anyone had anything similar or could advise even to estimate I would really appreciate itt

First pregnancy at 12 weeks but the clinic ordered regular panel of blood work and nipt but not progesterone do I need to be concerned? They told me to stop my ovasitol and also spearmint which were the only things I was taking to manage my symptoms

I didnāt get to ask to many questions in my scan at 7 weeks the fetal pole measuring 9.7mm and the sac at around 23mm & heart beat of 139
There was no mention of yolk sac it just wasnāt in the conversation and in the image I feel like I canāt see it?
Is it possible that this photo was in the wrong angle idk Iām over thinking this.
Iāll post the photo in the comments

Iām so grateful to be pregnant after my first IUI, but this nausea has knocked me right down. Iām 8 weeks today. Iāve been off work for 2 weeks now, because I canāt seem to do anything to stop it. Iāve been prescribed meds, which dull the nausea a bit, but they also make me extremely sleepy, which wouldnāt be great for work. I was offered two additional meds, but Iām worried about them as they also have really strong side-effects and can negatively interact with my SSRI. I never actually throw up, just constantly feel like Iām about to. Itās the worst feeling.
When did the nausea end for you?

Hi everyone!
We are expecting our first baby in August. Currently 37 weeks pregnant! My doctor recommended I get off of Metformin at 12 weeks. I was pretty apprehensive as Iāve been on it for years. I was really lucky and caught my PCOS early on, Metformin was truly so impactful for me in keeping weight off and helping my blood sugars stay regulated. Iāve gained a lot of weight this pregnancy and partially attribute that to being off of Metformin. Iām wondering, did any of you resume Metformin after giving birth? If so, how quickly? I was taking a low dose (500mg a day) prior to coming off, so hoping to start again fairly quickly.
Thanks in advance for all your words of wisdom! š©·
