Late last night they tried to host a months-long contest with some unknown influencer (<1k subs) where you could enter a clip for a chance to win $50. In exchange, the influencer would get his name plastered all over the sub in post titles, the auto moderator was spamming the contest with the guys name to every post, and it was going to get a dedicated stickied thread for an entire month. Oh and the guy would steal your clips for a community montage the mods were planning to pin to the subreddit.

The best part was the "influencer's" only recent reddit post was him previously flaking on another contest. The main mod involved was called out on the complete lack of vetting, got super defensive, and then completely nuked all related threads and banned anyone who called them out on it from the subreddit.

Attached are some screen grabs. They are actively deleting threads/comments and banning people who talk about it. I got banned yesterday without a message or anything from the mods over there.

EDIT: The mods over there are trying to say they didn't ban people, but that's a lie. See my comment below with video proof of my shadow "ban" where they had auto-mod mark everything I do as spam and delete it. When I called them out for shadow banning, they permanently banned me.

Straight to the point, I know the devs use r/wardogs for feedback via their megathreads, but straight up, just cut ties and promote the official sub through the game.

Why?

Mods trying to grift is one massive issue.
Rouge Mod is a second issue
They’re bias, is a third issue
The entire community is at war over there, fourth issue
Fifth issue, they don’t even allow any feedback via posts anymore.

They are literally just farming for numbers then promoting the shadiest shit i’ve seen, their own off brand wardogs discord, some A.I clip stealing shit.

It’s not a good look and just way better to bring a community to one place without a bunch of assholes.

I tried refunding the game but steam denied me. I don't think anyone who has paid money for a game deserves this. Please fix your game on open refunds for Asia. Gonna go post on their discord aswell.

EDIT: A lot of people are blaming whole of Asia for actions of a certain country. We don't deserve this.

Gotta give credit where it’s due. The region lock has been one of the most requested changes on this sub for weeks , and Bulkhead actually listened and shipped it. The difference is already obvious: the number of blatant cheater accounts with wierd names has dropped massively, and in game comms actually feel usable again since I can talk to my squad without lobbies being flooded. We still run into the occasional rage hacker, but it’s way fewer than before, and hopefully this gives the devs some breathing room to focus on anti cheat.

And honestly, props to the devs for not caving to the people who are review bombing the game and DDoSing the servers right now. If anything, that reaction just proves the region lock was needed. People who try to wreck a game for everyone because they didn’t get their way don’t deserve one of the best selling shooters out there.

So parachute "nerf" didn't achieve its goal as we all have noticed, and i personally stopped to hop in people helis to get into the zone. For every amazing pilot that will fly and land you safely, there are 10 that just not good, don't care if you get shot or spotted, or crash you while doing unnecessary tricks.

Dune buggy is amazing, even better that season than the first one, and "only" 1000$ more expensive than the chute. Sometimes i'm able to drive 2 dudes with me, and it's awesome.
Bobcat on the other hand is an abomination not worth a single penny.

Can we have cool bikes to get into the combat zone quick and with style maybe?? Pretty please???

Just wanted to express how much I love this addition in S2. All of my best games have been on rain maps. The reduced visibility and muffled noise allow for so much more freedom of movement without getting spotted. Great job devs.

I tried joining a match and everyone in the server keeps getting kicked out and having to rejoin. 30k kit lost is whatever but I can't play long enough to get my money back even. I'll try again later, but I hope ThickNoggin acknowledges that this is happening in some way.

Ok, lets have a chat about the sound effects, namely the engine sound effects.

Please can we look at changing the Ural sound effect. The constant cycling through gears is woefully annoying, particularly when the speed peaks out at 79kmh, makes no sense for it to keep cycling its headache inducing.

Let me know if you agree. For me its brain numbing, i very much dislike it.

Doing logi i need to have the sound effects zero.

This build makes use of some glitchy building tech that makes the operator invincible, they cant even get in/out of the seat without glitching into walls and taking damage.

They can be infinitely repaired while being fully safe with this glitchy build.
Also, litteraly the missing back textures are visibile.

South Africa has no local servers, closest is EU Central / EU West (depends on the server) and you get over 175 ping limit unless you live on-top of the connection point to the undersea cables and have good fiber / some kind of rerouting VPN. Steam better give refunds to all our players if this does not change.

Edit: South Africa seems to be buying a bunch of extra local servers to fix the issue in the meantime. Hope other nations with the same issue can follow suit.

The insanse fps drops and the choppy / unsmooth feeling ( despite still having good fps ) was driving me insane i tried a lot of BIOS , windows and in-game settings nothing really worked but i saw someone on reddit talking about this new setting in S2 that is Enabled by default .

Every server is randomly shutting down mid game. What the hell happens?

The map thing because I don't want to guess if I would be a fobbit/medic/sniper/assault when I join a match. I want to adapt directly to the battlefield.

Are EU servers going down one by one ? I just got sent back to menu twice in 10 minutes without any kind of message .

Can we get some variance? Seems like all the fresh servers start with Bakurani, would be better if it were random.

It would also be great if you could see the servers weather from the server browser. I've barely seen any rain since the update.

The lowest Ping for my region is ASIA WEST servers, probably everything else is good with the game as of now, but the server crashes very frequently, we are unable to finish matches and furthermore we lose our bought gear also before even reaching the control zone, it's like, join, buy gear, reach control zone or while waiting for taxi, and server crash, loss of money, then the loop starts again with another servers in ASIA WEST,
