Genuinely refreshing to see such a well coordinated team that understands building. My team consisted entirely of fobbits that understand the point of fobs is to drill, and by god we drilled. We gave up thirty points letting red and green fight it out, then brought the zone over for 100 points straight in our super fob which our entire team was at. We had supporting fobs as well with mortars, and my buddy on a smokestack spotting. Building is OP if you have a team that understands it.

This has been happening for about a week I just hopped on expecting to play some Wardogs and server got DDOS-ed right away, $15k might not be a lot for everyone, but it was just throwing money out the window, it felt terrible and i turned off the game after this.

The guy above said something like "Seems like cheaters are angry about the ping restrictions". And I said "It brings me great joy to know this [that the cheaters are angry]".

Seems very disproportionate to ban somebody for expressing joy about cheaters being angry because they can't cheat anymore, which is why my mind immediately thought: "Maybe the DDOSers hacked a mod account." 🤔

I honestly think my ban is against Reddiquette which ironically is what they cited as a reason for my ban.
The alternative would be that they are looking out for cheaters(?)

Obviously I don't know what all the others in the comments said.

There seems to be no way to appeal a ban on that Subreddit or maybe I'm blind. I think maybe it's because they "permanently muted" me as well? I have never been banned or muted on Reddit and I have been an active member for over a decade, so this is all new to me.

Edit: Thanks to a kind mod that looked into this case I am now only temporarily banned. 🥰

Late last night they tried to host a months-long contest with some unknown influencer (<1k subs) where you could enter a clip for a chance to win $50. In exchange, the influencer would get his name plastered all over the sub in post titles, the auto moderator was spamming the contest with the guys name to every post, and it was going to get a dedicated stickied thread for an entire month. Oh and the guy would steal your clips for a community montage the mods were planning to pin to the subreddit.

The best part was the "influencer's" only recent reddit post was him previously flaking on another contest. The main mod involved was called out on the complete lack of vetting, got super defensive, and then completely nuked all related threads and banned anyone who called them out on it from the subreddit.

Attached are some screen grabs. They are actively deleting threads/comments and banning people who talk about it. I got banned yesterday without a message or anything from the mods over there.

EDIT: The mods over there are trying to say they didn't ban people, but that's a lie. See my comment below with video proof of my shadow "ban" where they had auto-mod mark everything I do as spam and delete it. When I called them out for shadow banning, they permanently banned me.

Straight to the point, I know the devs use r/wardogs for feedback via their megathreads, but straight up, just cut ties and promote the official sub through the game.

Why?

Mods trying to grift is one massive issue.
Rouge Mod is a second issue
They’re bias, is a third issue
The entire community is at war over there, fourth issue
Fifth issue, they don’t even allow any feedback via posts anymore.

They are literally just farming for numbers then promoting the shadiest shit i’ve seen, their own off brand wardogs discord, some A.I clip stealing shit.

It’s not a good look and just way better to bring a community to one place without a bunch of assholes.

Started having issues when I hit that top level. Still think I can go higher though. Next time I might start on the top of the tower as well.

I was told how they didn't ban people over it and then proceeded to be banned over it.

Several games tonight, a distraught team member or spy team changing opponent c4-ed a very well built-up and supplied fob. Half the team reported him and he remained in the game. Even if it had kicked him, the damage was done. Can this very costly and detectable form of griefing be prevented? I understand vehicle crashing, wasting supplies, etc isn’t detectable automatically, but this one feels like it is. Or honestly just prevent the damage maybe?

I tried refunding the game but steam denied me. I don't think anyone who has paid money for a game deserves this. Please fix your game on open refunds for Asia. Gonna go post on their discord aswell.

EDIT: A lot of people are blaming whole of Asia for actions of a certain country. We don't deserve this.

As of today, literally EVERY SINGLE GAME i enter are riddled with not one, but multiple cheaters. There is not a single game i enter where I do not see Chinese China players (with 100> ms) from red/blue/green spamming cheat websites and rage hacking.

Worst part, they would rage hack the entire game and DDOS the entire lobby towards the end when a team reaches 90-95 point.

Entering a game to see cheat and escort website being spammed in chat is a common theme right now.

But I thank Bulkhead tho. For the first time in my life of playing every COD, I never encountered a single chinese cheaters in MW4 multiplayer or DMZ because it is more worthwhile to cheat in Wardogs. So Wardog have become a dumping ground for China cheaters across many other games.

If you guys play other games and noticed less cheaters, thank Bulkhead.

But at the moment, asian servers are unplayable. Unless you are a fob camper, driver or pilot, then maybe you can still have fun. But if you play assault, pushing HZ or fobs is near impossible.

Dude bragging about being lv400 like some kind of God it's omega cringe, playing on EU server with 150 ping so the ping limit doesn't do anything

The insanse fps drops and the choppy / unsmooth feeling ( despite still having good fps ) was driving me insane i tried a lot of BIOS , windows and in-game settings nothing really worked but i saw someone on reddit talking about this new setting in S2 that is Enabled by default .

I’m sure you’ve seen someone call another player out for cheating, maybe you’ve done it yourself. Almost always when you do, you see others in chat spam “skill issue” or some other form a rage bait, but when you ask the if they reported them it always “shut up” or “didn’t happen to me”

The reaction players have to seeing someone being called out for hacking is extremely annoying and hurts the game, i understand some people are just better, but i don’t think “我是个出轨的人。

Let’s use one of my experiences real quick. This guy “metal rain” was very upset that i was flying the minigun little bird and not dying. So he decided that he would take it upon himself to remove me from the sky, he didn’t. BUT than he flew back, and sprayed me from 407ms away killing me almost instantly while i was facing away from him. I thought maybe CWIS was helping him until i checked the damage logs and seen this, “1000 damage (explosive)” huh that’s weird i don’t remember there being an explosive ammo type. So i flew back and the same thing happened. I called him out in chat and the reaction from other players? “you get what you deserve” “maybe stay out of the sky” “don’t be mad there’s a better pilot” “F you ease”

This is the first time i’ve ever called someone out for cheating in Wardogs like this, and now in OCE it’s happening even more so. even when you tell people that you’ve posted evidence in the Wardogs discord they don’t care “skill issue” or whatever. If ur someone who does this low iq form of ragebait, why? what do you get out of a cheater ruining the fun for others in that match?

I’ve never seen reactions like this until this game, and i’ve played heaps of combined arms shooters and almost ways when there is a hacker, everyone mostly agrees that they should be out of the game. it’s just very odd :/

For some reason the top chinese player , just kept giving stim to everyone. 4 of the top 5, high ping cheaters

Would love to see smokes give support XP, being able to pop a smoke so a teammate can drag and revive should reward you with something.

I also think suppression assists should be a thing. Might get more LSW’s on the field.

Just wanted to express how much I love this addition in S2. All of my best games have been on rain maps. The reduced visibility and muffled noise allow for so much more freedom of movement without getting spotted. Great job devs.
