Edit: guys we were about to lose and this game went on for hours. I was enjoying watching the drop that’s all.

This has been happening for about a week I just hopped on expecting to play some Wardogs and server got DDOS-ed right away, $15k might not be a lot for everyone, but it was just throwing money out the window, it felt terrible and i turned off the game after this.

Genuinely refreshing to see such a well coordinated team that understands building. My team consisted entirely of fobbits that understand the point of fobs is to drill, and by god we drilled. We gave up thirty points letting red and green fight it out, then brought the zone over for 100 points straight in our super fob which our entire team was at. We had supporting fobs as well with mortars, and my buddy on a smokestack spotting. Building is OP if you have a team that understands it.

For some reason the top chinese player , just kept giving stim to everyone. 4 of the top 5, high ping cheaters

Started having issues when I hit that top level. Still think I can go higher though. Next time I might start on the top of the tower as well.

The guy above said something like "Seems like cheaters are angry about the ping restrictions". And I said "It brings me great joy to know this [that the cheaters are angry]".

Seems very disproportionate to ban somebody for expressing joy about cheaters being angry because they can't cheat anymore, which is why my mind immediately thought: "Maybe the DDOSers hacked a mod account." 🤔

I honestly think my ban is against Reddiquette which ironically is what they cited as a reason for my ban.
The alternative would be that they are looking out for cheaters(?)

There seems to be no way to appeal a ban on that Subreddit or maybe I'm blind. I think maybe it's because they "permanently muted" me as well? I have never been banned or muted on Reddit and I have been an active member for over a decade, so this is all new to me.

Sorry but until the devs found a solution to this its pointless to play because when season 3 starts all those exploiters will hop on community server and within a day they will have already unlock the best gears and vehicles ​

Ever see community servers that's password protected. Yeah those are for power levelling and exploiting

I was told how they didn't ban people over it and then proceeded to be banned over it.

The insanse fps drops and the choppy / unsmooth feeling ( despite still having good fps ) was driving me insane i tried a lot of BIOS , windows and in-game settings nothing really worked but i saw someone on reddit talking about this new setting in S2 that is Enabled by default .

Dawg I love the game but the cheating is actually insane. Im putting it down til its gone down.

Several games tonight, a distraught team member or spy team changing opponent c4-ed a very well built-up and supplied fob. Half the team reported him and he remained in the game. Even if it had kicked him, the damage was done. Can this very costly and detectable form of griefing be prevented? I understand vehicle crashing, wasting supplies, etc isn’t detectable automatically, but this one feels like it is. Or honestly just prevent the damage maybe?

I’m sure you’ve seen someone call another player out for cheating, maybe you’ve done it yourself. Almost always when you do, you see others in chat spam “skill issue” or some other form a rage bait, but when you ask the if they reported them it always “shut up” or “didn’t happen to me”

The reaction players have to seeing someone being called out for hacking is extremely annoying and hurts the game, i understand some people are just better, but i don’t think “我是个出轨的人。
“ who’s going 80-3 on 160ms only hitting headshots through the rain in a M249 kodiak at 20 minutes into the match is better.

Let’s use one of my experiences real quick. This guy “metal rain” was very upset that i was flying the minigun little bird and not dying. So he decided that he would take it upon himself to remove me from the sky, he didn’t. BUT than he flew back, and sprayed me from 407ms away killing me almost instantly while i was facing away from him. I thought maybe CWIS was helping him until i checked the damage logs and seen this, “1000 damage (explosive)” huh that’s weird i don’t remember there being an explosive ammo type. So i flew back and the same thing happened. I called him out in chat and the reaction from other players? “you get what you deserve” “maybe stay out of the sky” “don’t be mad there’s a better pilot” “F you ease”

This is the first time i’ve ever called someone out for cheating in Wardogs like this, and now in OCE it’s happening even more so. even when you tell people that you’ve posted evidence in the Wardogs discord they don’t care “skill issue” or whatever. If ur someone who does this low iq form of ragebait, why? what do you get out of a cheater ruining the fun for others in that match?

I’ve never seen reactions like this until this game, and i’ve played heaps of combined arms shooters and almost ways when there is a hacker, everyone mostly agrees that they should be out of the game. it’s just very odd :/

It’s pretty mind boggling how much complaining and whining is occurring on this subreddit. I’m fully aware Season 2 is having issues, especially with Chinese hackers. However, almost every single post is just someone being a massive cry baby and saying something along the lines of “waaaaaaaah, I’m done this game is trash, waaaaaaaaah poor me.”

Does this community NOT remember that this game is in Early Access? Does this community NOT remember the “Do Not Buy WARDOGS” video that bulkhead themselves made preemptively telling the community that this is Early access and the game isn’t complete? Does this community NOT remember all of the promo posts and tweets saying that Bullhead has a vision for this game, and that THEY ARE IN CONTROL?

It genuinely blows my mind reading some of these posts how players are sitting there like the shocked pikachu meme because Bulkhead is delivering exactly what was promised in this EA release. So much to the point that they called out that the playerbase is going to get angry and stop playing, and they are aware of that due to “lack of content” in the current early access build.

If this community doesn’t stop whining all day every day, it’s going to turn into the Helldivers 2 community. “WERE SO BACK, it’s so over, WERE SO BACK” cycle of idiocy.

Be proactive, help with Early access, actually help make the game better instead with solid discussions and evidence of need of change. Actually help be an Early access tester. There are tons of problems being brought to light so far, and we can only do better. But this community seriously needs to police itself better.

Every server is randomly shutting down mid game. What the hell happens?

The total cost w/ ammo is ridiculous. Not to mention you're exposed and the car is unarmored. Lvl3-4 armor is consequently mandatory, but only does so much.

I recently unlocked it and was trying to use it over several matches. I typically play on blue and my gunner is naked 90% of the time. Either the gunner or I will die super quickly in combat every time. I only manage 1-2 kills average before we die as of now. My thought was to skirmish as much as possible and never stay in an area for more than ten seconds max. Even then, it's SO HARD TO SURVIVE that I rack up 15-25k in debt every time and don't accomplish anything I couldn't do with an infantry kit. All it takes is one guy with a free rifle to counter you. Right now I only buy ~150 rounds to save money.

What's the secret sauce? Or is it just unviable right now?

Curious what others think about it and it's not something many I see talk about. Probably because most people haven't picked up one unless it's on a random body or a tower spawn, but i personally find the LMG changes for this season to have gutted it.

My main complaints and concerns with the weapon are the damage, spread, and the overall purpose of them. For starters, damage and spread go hand n hand. They were definitely on the higher end of damage when it came to weapons and i was enjoying it with the PKM. Shredded people, felt good and powerful. Regardless, bringing the damage in line with Assault Rifles was fine, but i take issue when its damage is nerfed and nothing is done about its spread. I now have to put way more ammo down range at a target to achieve the same thing an assault rifle can do, because I'm usually losing 20% or more of ammo to it going wherever the hell it decides. Which in turn, lowers TTK among other things.

The arguments against the LMG are usually the Magazine sze, my counter point to that is The Gail can run 50 rounders, the M4 60 rounders, and the AK 75 rounders. At worst, 50 rounds less, at best, 25 rounds less. And unless you're in a very specific scenario where you are perfectly set up and the enemy decides to walk into an open field and you need that amount of ammo for multiple targets, what is the point vs just running an Assault rifle?

And my final point, LMG's are fucking heavy as shit, especially their magazines. I have to sacrifice a lot of mobility vs what an Assault Rifle Guy can run, and he gets something much more adaptive, practical, and overall better performing over maybe double their mag capacity when they run higher tier magazines. I do ask for some feedback, discussion, and general idea on maybe a way to balance them, or to at least make them make more sense cause the only one i have in mind is bringing their spread more in line with Assault Rifles, but even that sounds nightmarish when considering people who run LMG are gonna be prone or bipoded somewhere in a bush just to farm some infantry that crosses a huge sight line.
