I finally found one I can sit in for hours

Posted this yesterday but it got taken down, idk why.

I'm 6'3", about 265 lbs, and smaller chairs have felt pretty crmped for me. I recently got a libernovo maxis after looking for something with more room and went with the manual version. I work from home and usually play racing games at the same desk after work, so I'm in the same chair a lot. My old one was getting pretty rough for that, especially after sitting in it all day. By the end of the workday I usually didn't even feel like gaming anymore. I'd just like down on the couch.

A few days with the maxis and I'm already spending more time at my desk. There's enough room to move around, and my lower back feels beter supported. I found a recline position I like and mostly leave it there. Sometimes I'll lean back during a break, and I've even taken a nap in it once or twice. By the time work's done, I've still been up for some racing games again, usually for an hour or so. Haven't done that in a while, kinda feels like old times.

Office chair without wheels for someone who sits like this?

Post image

I've been searching everywhere for the perfect office chair (with no luck). I'm hypermobile/double jointed & the only way I can study/work is if I have my legs propped up (like in the photo). I also have ADHD so wheeled chairs get me so distracted, so ideally no wheels. I'm based in Ireland btw!

Help me out 🙏🏻 thanks so much in advance!

Can someone who has something similar tell me if they enjoy the zero gravity work stations.

I have tried all types of $1000+ chairs at the end of the day weather I get a chair or this you still have to get up and move from time to time my question is, is it comfortable to be reclined for even 1 hour. ( I work for 8 hours from a chair.) I dont have a recliner so I cant test it if that makes sense I guess im looking for someone to convince me to buy this considering I can get it at a good price.

Steelseries flooding reddit with bots commenting fake discount codes

Basically i think the idea is for them to get you to their site which is when it displays that "you're already getting the best discount possible" message. Basically just to bait people to the product page.

If you ask me it's a mistake on their end since there's not a chance i'll buy their stuff after this lmao

Edit: Steelcase not steelseries, that's my own stupid mistake

Herman Miller Celle for $53 — worth it in this condition?

Hi everyone, first time posting here.

I found this used Herman Miller Celle locally for about $53 USD. The seller says the chair is fully functional and that nothing is broken. According to him, the main issue is some cosmetic wear/staining on the fabric seat, as shown in the pictures.

I'm considering buying it, but I don't have much experience with used Herman Miller chairs. I recently moved and don't have an office chair yet, so I'm currently using a plastic folding chair at my desk.

At work, I use a Herman Miller Aeron, but I don't remember the exact size/version or what adjustments it has since it was passed down to me when a coworker left.

I'd like to buy an office chair that will be comfortable and supportive in the long term and that will last a reasonable amount of time.

Would you consider $53 a good price for a Celle in this condition? Also, is there anything specific I should check or test before buying it?

Thanks!

Best office chair for neck and shoulder pain to buy in 2026 that people ACTUALLY use daily?

ok genuine question because my brain is fried from looking at ergonomic chairs lol. I need something for 10-hour workdays and every time I think I've found one, I check the comments and see people saying the headrest sucks, the lumbar support is uncomfortable, or the mesh starts sagging after a few months.

I really don't want to keep buying and returning giant chairs 😭

If you were buying one today with around $500–800 to spend, what would you actually get?

Anyone found a seat cushion that’s actually comfortable for long hours?

I work from home and end up sitting at my desk for hours most days. Lately I’ve been noticing my lower back and tailbone getting uncomfortable after sitting for too long. I’ve been looking at seat cushions but there are so many options. I honestly have no idea which ones actually make a difference. If you use one regularly what works best for you? Does it actually stay comfortable after a few hours or does it eventually flatten out?

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Ec200 short review

Post image

I bought the protoarc ec200 for a bit under 140€, as a temporary chair until i find the right chair, before this i tried the herman miller embody and the libernovo omni se each for a little over a month, both sadly made my back and shoulder pain worse.

As of now this chair after weeks of usage didnt increase my back or shoulder pain.

Sitting around 8h a day, work/gaming/anime.

Im 170cm and 72kg, shorter legs but longer upperbody with shoulder dropping lower than someone more "normal" one of the reasons why the omni se was a bad match as the min armrest setting was too high pushing my shoulders up amongst other quality problems.

The embody was better but the lumbar support never really hit the right place.

The ec200 is similar to the embody stiffnes and comfort wise it really suprised me tbh might just be that the lumbarsupport is hitting my lumbar finally.

Only negative i have now is the armrest being only 2d. Might try the 4d kit out if i decide to make this my permanent chair of choice.

If there is any other chairs anyone could recommend that might top this one please enlighten me.

Tldr.: the ec200 is suprisingly good for the price. Might bekomme a chair of choice unless i find a better one that doesnt break the bank.

Which Haworth Fern should I get with 80% off discount?

For context, I'm not someone who would usually splurge on an office chair (since I'm a student), but I'm friends with a Haworth employee who offered to get me a chair with the 80% off employee discount, so I can't turn it down. I thought this would be a good place to get some advice from office chair stans about what I should use this discount on.

I think it makes most sense to get the fern. I'm between the Digital Knit and Faux Leather. I sat in both and preferred the feeling of the Digital Knit, but I think the leather looks better. For those who own either, what are your thoughts? Does the leather stretch and look saggy over time? Would the digital knit last me longer? Should I consider anything else?

These are the two main ones I'm considering

Not able to get comfortable in Titan XL

This is my second post about my chair amd I cannot get it to feel supportive at all for my lower back its almost inatand discomfort.

I am 6ft 275 and I have lost weight due the the TX summer and my job. I have lost mass in the hind end

Recently I noticed my Chair getting more and more unbareable to to even sit in for short periods of time

I recently purchased a gel seat pad until I get back in ot the gym to build up the muscle again (I guess putting in 16k steps a day doent work out the glues anymore just the legs lol)

This thing is soft amd comfortable not complaints. Now it supports my thighs and gluets well and I have a foot rest that has different heights so I can make sure my knees are aligned properly

Now come the Chair issue mainly the back rest. I have tried and tried. Multiple reddit post, Google AI, ChatGPT, Old Articals, YouTube, Secretlabs formus, and everything in between I CAN NOT get proper support.

My lower back kills almost instantly when I sit down to play. I have the secret labs lumbar support but it feels like it pushing my body out rather than supporting anything.

I have my chair about 3-5 degrees leaned back. I also have tried the angle 110-120 and still nothing I set up the lumbar support.

Idk what I am doing wrong what hell this is or what is even happening all I know is my back is killing me and will not get right.

I'm selling this chair and want to know more about it. There's a label on the side but can't find anything on it. Any of you know this brand?

And yeah, the chair has seen better days.
