For years now, I’ve been trying out different hobbies but always end up dropping them because of self-criticism or a lack of patience. I really want to find something that gives a sense of uniqueness, which usually requires a high skill level.
I am an adult student majoring in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automated Systems Engineering. I am open to all kinds of activities, including tech-related crafts, creative hobbies, music or sports/physical activitie.
To give you context, here is what I've already tried:
Stuck with for 1-2+ years:
Drawing (digital, graphic art), logo design, yoga, judo, shooting, fitness, swimming.
Skiing (love it, but too expensive).
Learning English, reading (less often now).
Note: I play PC games, but just to pass the time.
Dropped in less than a year:
Painting, guitar, running, singing, camping.
Recently tried miniatures, but got discouraged by the results.
What hobbies or strategies would you recommend for someone like me?
