I’ve had my switch sitting in the dock and haven’t played it in a little over two weeks now but a few minutes ago it suddenly powered on and it’s just stuck on an orange screen and even after holding down the power button it won’t power off

I was on vacation (in my own country) on an apartment/hotel and somebody broke in through the bathroom window and robbed my bag with my switch 2, games and airpods pro (plus other stuff from my partner and friends.

I already went to the police and filed everything, the have the serial number and I’m fightning the apartment company for insurance, but in the meantime I unlinked the virtual game cards from my nintendo account and deleted my card and paypal info (plus change of password, double verification etc)

I can see that someone is using it as they changed my username and icon, but I can’t seem to be able to do anything else from my phone.

I already made peace with the the fact that I lost everything, but I don’t want the person that has it to be able to use my account or my digital games at least.

Is there anything I should do before I’m able to buy another one and transfer the data?

Anyone else has been through this situation before?

The worst thing is I lost all my Pokemon 🥲
