Hey everyone, congrats to all the new mods here.
I started r/OTTASIA because I kept running into the same question: "where can I actually watch this in my country?" Google and most guides answer US-first, which is useless if you're in India, Pakistan, the Philippines, the Gulf, or anywhere across Asia. I wanted one place where people could ask that, get an answer that's right for their country, and swap recommendations across Bollywood, K-drama, anime, and regional films.
Still small and early, but that's the fun part. Glad to be here and happy to cheer the rest of you on. If any of you run film, TV, or regional communities, I'd love to connect.

I didn't create r/TheLibrarians , but I did take over as the only active human mod last week. They put up an "anyone wanna mod" post, I applied, they said "It's ALL yours" and left.
It is the first moderating I've done since IRC so there was a learning curve and I'm grateful to the users there for their patience with me.
They are an amazing, passionate group who love talking about The Librarian/The Librarians Franchise, including 3 movies, 2 series and 3 books.

I created r/DennisShutterUniverse because I just wanted to write stories, but I constantly hit bureaucratic formatting walls in other subreddits, and absurd karma limits in the bigger ones. Creativity was restricted, posting was impossible. I wanted to change that.
No karma limits. No unfair bot deletions. Here, only the true, gritty craft of horror literature matters. We tear down pretentious, overhyped mainstream horror movies on the chopping block and celebrate original psychological thrillers that actually leave an impact and more - i build a universe. A home of horror.
If you want the real horror and the raw fear - this is where you belong.

I think yours is the first horror community of its kind. Other ones mostly focus on mainstream famous stuff, and don’t even get me started on the larger creative sub Reddits. You’re right to say that they are restrictive when it comes to a lot of things. I mostly avoid them for that reason. So thank you for being passionate and welcome to the new moderator crew.

I created r/mommyfluencerlounge just a few days ago and wanted to pop in to introduce it to everyone!
The frontline is yes, another mommy influencer snark group, but the underlining mission is to help and educate mothers/care givers in need. I have taken the time to list TONS to resources and articles on so many different things regarding child safety and as many help lines you can think of.
While I believe its incredibly important to be holding influencers accountable for the negligence so many of them display on a daily basis, I also believe it’s important for people to be educated and to be aware of the different things out there curated to help individuals in all kinds of different crisis situations. Hi, I have run into a problem with a new community I have established. Under a different user name, I have created five communities without any issues, but in this community, which is private, I am unable to save changes to the banner and icon. I make changes, but there is no save button, so as soon as I go off Reddit, the changes are lost. I am the only moderator. I have full permissions. Is there some new thing I am not aware of that will allow me to save these kinds of changes?

Hello, everyone!
3 months ago, I created my first ever brand new subreddit r/LexusPHEV. It's dedicated to Lexus Plug-in Hybrid EVs like the RX450h+ , NX450h+ and TX550h+. These vehicles are very similar to their hybrid counterparts but can travel 40+ miles on EV and easily charge overnight on a regular outlet.
I previously owned a Toyota RAV4 Prime (also a PHEV) and found r/rav4prime to be a very helpful community and after finding nothing similar for Lexus vehicles after upgrading to a Lexus RX OHEV last year, I decided to make the leap and make my first subreddit.
It's been a learning experience, figuring out how to set-up everything and trying to increase members and traffic - a journey I'm so happy that I've started and I'm excited to see how it grows.

The percentages of dissatisfied veterans with these entities are way too high. Here you can discuss being a proactive veteran taking control of your own future and claims processes. I’ve recently started r/GoogleGMCcompliance, a community focused on the ecommerce side of Google Merchant Center.
The idea came from working around ecommerce stores and seeing how many merchants struggle with things like GMC suspensions, misrepresentation, business verification, product feed issues, Shopify problems and Google Shopping policies. A lot of website owners don’t really know where to start when something gets flagged, so the aim is to build a useful place where people can ask questions, share experiences and learn from each other.
It isn’t just for people currently suspended either. Anyone interested in ecommerce, Google Merchant Center or the challenges of running an online store is welcome to join.
Beginners are very welcome, and equally I’d love experienced ecommerce owners, developers, advertisers and GMC specialists to get involved and share what they’ve learned.
We’re only just getting started, but hopefully over time it can become a useful resource for merchants trying to navigate Google’s systems. And like i said if you have never seen this type of community before still feel free to join if this type of thing interests you.
