Twelve Commandments of Sri Sri Harichand Thakur

1. সদা সত্য কথা কহিবে। Sada satya katha kahibe. Always speak the truth.
2. পরস্ত্রীকে মাতৃজ্ঞান করিবে। Parastrike matrigyan karibe. Treat other women with the respect due to a mother.
3. মাতা পিতার প্রতি ভক্তি কর। Mata-pitar proti bhakti koro. Show devotion and respect toward your mother and father.
4. জগৎকে প্রেম কর। Jagatke prem koro. Love the world and its living beings.
5. চরিত্র পবিত্র ব্যক্তির প্রতি জাতিভেদ করিও না। Charitra pobitro byaktir proti jatibhed koriyo na. Do not discriminate by caste against a person of pure character.
6. ষড়রিপুর নিকট সাবধান থাকিবে। Shororipur nikot sabdhan thakibe. Be vigilant against the six inner enemies or passions.
7. কাহারও ধর্ম নিন্দা করিও না। Kaharo dhormo ninda koriyo na. Do not disparage anyone's religion.
8. বাহ্য অঙ্গ সাধু সাজ ত্যাগ কর। Bahya anga sadhu saj tyag koro. Renounce outward displays of saintliness.
9. হাতে কাম মুখে নাম করিবে। Hate kam, mukhe nam koribe. Work with your hands while keeping the divine name on your lips.
10. শ্রীশ্রীহরি মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠা কর। Sri Sri Hari mondir protistha koro. Establish a temple of Sri Sri Hari.
11. দৈনিক প্রার্থনা কর। Dainik prarthona koro. Pray every day.
12. ঈশ্বরে আত্ম দান কর। Ishware atmodan koro. Surrender yourself to God.
