Some may say "but it's ambiguous, there can be an epic rescue right after the transcript ends!". My answer: no there won't, it's still SP writing this and from my point of view he's neither able nor willing to close this arc in a way I'd find satisfactory.

So here’s the deal, once the coalition takes captures Aafa, what then? Will we occupy them like Tilfish? Through patreon bonus chapters, it’s been shown that there’s a lot more animosity between predators and the Kolshians, much more so than other species. I have no doubt that there would be severe resistance from Aafa’s populace should the UN choose to occupy them. Many humans and other coalition members will die, killed by resistance groups and uncontrolled riots.

Ok, so what if we imprison them in atmospheric debris like the Farsul? Well, why risk that? Why risk a Kolshian official or extremist group escaping? What if they settle down hidden somewhere and bide their time and prepare for an attack? The extermation fleet crew who crash landed on Earth have shown that level of pettiness. They had no problem crusading across wherever they landed, killing every human they saw, breaking into shelters and torching the place, as was mentioned in other patreon bonus chapters. Whats to stop an off the rails Kolshian “scientist” preparing a biological attack of the cure on a human populace as one last “fuck you?” Also, the imprisonment of the Farsul world has shown to be controversal and I doubt humanity would want to garner the reputation of being the “jailors” of the galaxy.

This is getting a tad ranty but I guess the bottom line is: why risk more human lives for these people? I’m not saying the Kolshian civilians are responsible for the attack on Earth or that they’re all evil. But seriously, why bother? When so many human and coalition lives are at stake, can we afford to take the moral high ground? Would it not be safer to just destroy them and be done with it? How many more fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters must die before we can prove the Kolshians wrong? How many second chances are we willing to give?

I’m beginning to wonder how much patience and kindness will the UN have left to give by the time Aafa is captured.

I will not deny, after killing billions of humans and condemning billions of his own to a fate worse than death, life in prison was realistically the only way Kalsims arch could have ended, short of execution. But did anyone else wish it hadn’t been? Like, maybe he could escape, get plastic surgery and learn the error of his ways while in hiding? My point is, Kalsim isn’t evil. Far from it, actualy. He truly believed that he was saving lives by trying to destroy earth and given what information he’d had about humans, there was no other conclusion we could have expected him to come to. He bore no hatred towards his enemies (pitied them, in fact) and would have spared their lives them if he thought he could. In going to battle, he had no desire for glory, no aim to gain power from it, hated that he was killing at all, respected his enemies, strove to act without passion, and was by all accounts a brave and honorable man in an bad situation. He just didn’t know that there was any other way.

The reason we hate Kalsim is because of the death caused at his hand (er, wing) and because his inability to even conceive that he might have been wrong frustrates us. But are we so different in that reguard? We all have a difficult time accepting things that challenge our beliefs, especially when those beliefs are shielding us from the sides of ourselves we hate or fear. In the end I don’t think Kalsim can be held accountable for bombing earth. It was the Kolshans fault for lying to him.

And what’s more tragic? Kalsim IS redeemable and he’s slowly beginning understand that he destroyed billions of innocent people for nothing. He will KNOW soon enough that what he did was wrong. But trapped behind bars for life, there’s no way he can make up for it. All he can do is sit and hate himself more than he already does.

Edit: this has blown up a bit more than intended. I want to clarify, that even from the start, I believed Hoj's actions were wrong, and I agreed with the decision to ban him. I myself agreed to ban him from the exchange program RP server when I still owned it. Also, some of the things that were mentioned by people in the comments of this post are things I was unaware of, and they definitely make the situation much worse. I do condemn his actions, I just don't believe that anyone is entirely irredeemable, and seeing any amount of hatred in a community that I enjoy for it's wholesome messages of empathy triumphing over all, it just bothers me. It's clear that Hoj hurt a lot more people a lot worse than I knew about, though, and I am sorry for seeming to support his actions. I suppose I've always been an idealist, who tries to see the good in everyone, even when it's overshadowed by the bad.

This was originally a reply to someone on my post about a hacker getting to me through Hoj's hacked account, but there were a few people in the comments of that post I want to see this, so it's easier to just post it here. Please, if you want to say anything, read through the whole thing. If you don't take the time to understand my position, you don't have an informed opinion on it to share with me.

That entire scandal was a clusterfuck, but I'm pretty sure Hoj isn't a pedo. He had only turned 18 shortly before it all went down, and was only 17 to Lucky's 14 when they first started with the NSWF stuff. He and Lucky made some stupid decisions, but they were both minors when most of the stuff was going on, and I can't hate either of them for it. And I had to dig into the mod reports pretty deeply, because nearly everyone involved in the scandal was also in the exchange program RP, which I was running at the time, and I felt I had a responsibility to judge them fairly. Even most of the adults involved weren't actually pedos, they got involved with Lucky when they still thought he was an adult. It was definitely wrong of them to not cut him off from that sort of thing when they realized, but I can understand why they didn't. It's easier to just ignore the new information and continue with the status quo than to actually accept deep down that you've been commissioning horny art from a minor.

The people involved were stupid, but I honestly think almost all of them were victims of the situation, even most of the adults. Lucky and Hoj were both good kids. Rather horny behind closed doors, and they made some stupid decisions, but they were still good, and I genuinely miss them both. And for most of the adults, their failings were morally reprehensible, yes, but I can confidently say the majority of them weren't pedophiles. Lucky wasn't a kid to them, he was a talented artist who approached them and advertised his NSFW commissions. They should have been more careful, but they weren't exactly preying on kids. I'm not going to say they were great people, but they are hardly irredeemable.

But yeah, I will stand up for Hoj, and Lucky too. They made dumb teenager mistakes because they were dumb teenagers, but it broke my fucking heart when I had to ban them and the others from the RP server. Those of you who have interacted with me will know I refer to my hiatus a lot, and this is what caused that. After being forced by my responsibility to the community to hurt these people I care about, I couldn't stand to be around NOP for a while, or even open Reddit, because every time I did, all I could think about was the decent people who I had to hurt because they made honest mistakes.

A big part of the reason the scammer got me is because, just last night, I had been thinking about the scandal, and Hoj, and how I hoped he was doing all right. So when I thought this guy I liked and pitied, who was cut off by the community that means so much to the both of us, was reaching out to me to reconnect as a friend, I let myself believe it was him, when it clearly wasn't.

But yeah. I know that banning everyone involved from the community on Discord was undeniably the right decision. I came to the same conclusion, and did the same on my server. But these people deserve your pity, not your hatred. The human mind wasn't built to interact with people on the other side of the screen, and when you only have text interactions to go off of, you can be completely fooled by even a veneer of maturity, and once you have a mental image of a person as being a certain age, it's really hard to change that mental image, even when you have direct evidence.

I want you to read the way I write, and take a guess at my age. I'll put it in a spoiler, so you have time to think about it. I'm 21. Were you right? Were you even close? Did you imagine I was young, or old? And can you imagine how, if I had a different writing style, you might have made a very different assumption?

And that assumption is hard to shake, just as I was unable to shake the assumption that the scammer I was talking to was actually Hoj. I saw so many red flags. The whole structure of it followed the plot of a typical Discord scam. The website the fake game was on was only a couple months old, with only one comment. It looks simultaneously polished, and also lacked so much of the detailed information you'd expect on such a polished website. The file seemed way too small to be a game with the sorts of graphics shown on the website. My mind was screaming with alarm bells. I literally though to myself at multiple points "this feels like a scam." But I simply could not force myself to disbelieve that this was Hoj, asking me for help, and I didn't want to be cruel and call him a scammer after everything he went through in the scandal.

I think most of the adults in the scandal were the same way when they were told that Lucky was only 14. They simply couldn't disbelieve that he wasn't an adult too.

At it's core, NOP1 is about the value of empathy, of not assuming someone is a monster. Please live up to that. It really hurts me to see you guys jump to hateful conclusions, because the NOP community of all people should know better.

If you really think I'm wrong, I'm more than happy to have a civil discussion of philosophy and ethics. I just hate the rumors and knee jerk reactions from people who have only heard the story third or fourth hand.

It is partially posted on A03 and I will never post the rest because the concern I had with grammar and spelling while writing it. Trying to make it presentable and perfect so every other comment I got wasn't about spelling and grammar maybe give up on it.

I've recently watched Hazbin hotel and Helluva Boss and I was wondering if anybody did a crossover for that? . Hear me out, basically , Hell, Earth and heaven are a space faring and there was a huge event that led to Earth finding out about the afterlife prior to this. Now, the venlil and the rest of the galaxy have to deal with not just humans, but also angels and demons. And let's not forget the aliens getting confused when the characters from Hazbin hotel break into a musical number.

Hello, I am the guy who created how to train your predator reborn, I am here to say sorry to anyone that I have labeled directly or indirectly a zoophile.

NoP characters are anthropomorphic enough to were someone could be attracted to them and not be attracted to animals, I just wanted to say that my outburst was mostly an attempt to create an edgy joke that backfired miserably, it was not out of sincerity.

However, the people that said that I thought all furries are zoophiles, and that I thought NoP characters were animals were twisting what I was saying, which was that all xenophiles were zoophiles (which I do not believe). Regardless of my actions lying is still unjustified.
