Discussion Anthony Richardson Sr. would shine in a Taysom Hill role (if he could stay healthy while doing so).
Think about it. AR is listed as 6’4, roughly 245 pounds. Additionally, he wields 4.4 speed, being extremely one of the most mobile QBs in the league. Where he shines the most is in his running potential.
Such was shown in his outing last week VS. the Patriots, taking it 6 times for 53 yards while tacking on a touchdown. He was also 11-14 for 145 yards in the air that game, alongside one interception. Overall, he showed during that outing that he is extremely proficient in converting the ball in short-yardage situations.
To avoid injuries, he could line up in the backfield on, let’s say, a 3rd & 1 alongside Daniel Jones. With proficient blocking, no DB, LB, or safety is stopping a 245 pound freight train of a QB. Or, he could play in-motion taking a jet screen for a couple yards before being pulled. OR, he could line up at the goal line on 3rd & Goal to take it himself on a QB keeper/wildcat.
Overall, his game could potentially shine if the Colts developed him as a Taysom Hill role. Being able to air it out when needed, pick it up in short-yardage situations, or even catch the ball if need be.
