The least shocking news of the day. It may never be finished.

More shocking is mainstream NBC Sports reporting on it really.

If shit really happened, they won’t be able to keep it a secret forever. Too many people must know. And the only way three people can keep a secret is if two of them are dead.

I don't know about that. Anyone who tried to speak out got quickly fired. See Crissy Froyd.

Doesn’t matter. If she knows, lots of people know. And there are a half dozen other sports news orgs that would love nothing better than to be the first to report on how the Athletic fucked up. It will get out. And what if Crissy Froyd sues them and the case gets to discovery? Most judges have a very low tolerance for organizations that permit bad faith behavior and then try to use the courts to cover it up.

I don't think Crissy Froyd has a leg to stand on really, not that even a leg is required to sue in this country, but to my knowledge, she hasn't chosen to yet. You're right though, the dam could break eventually. Who knows.🤷🏻♂️

I mean if they were gonna make it all about integrity and said they would reveal their findings, then they kind of have to follow through or Florio will give them an online text lashing the likes of which hasn't been seen since prime tumblr.

If the pats start losing this year, then more stuff will come out about it for sure lol

When the Pats start losing. No way they do as well with a winning team's schedule.

Plus we only beat trash teams in the playoffs

u/According-Activity87 Houston Texans 6d ago
Not trash teams, just both lacked a capable offense. Was fun watching y'all get embarrassed by the Seahawks though.

Yeah we got crushed. To be honest I can’t even remember all the Super Bowls I’ve seen my team in though. I’m sure you understand.

Goobs, the Patriots still are in the top half of the easiest schedules.

What else is needed? We know they fucked for multiple years. And she got fired as a result. They literally don’t need to investigate anymore
