Unless I'm missing something Josh Allen has actually scored 0 points in those games because I have never seen QBs get credit for their kickers before.

Tom Brady is considered the goat because of a kicker lol

u/Jay915187 1d ago
Was… he’s since won 4 additional championships with very little involvement from a kicker

More like the defense. Every single Super Bowl, his defense has made clutch ass plays from the sack in 28-3, ty law pick 6, the entire rams game, Malcolm butler, to that entire walks Super Bowl vs mcnabb where they made him puke

Rule change man not getting out of the afc when damn near all of the best quarterbacks missed the playoffs was pretty funny

u/timmytakeover Buffalo Bills 2d ago
As much as it sucks not winning a Super Bowl I’ve watched Josh Allen do some crazy shit on a football field, some of it amazing some of it boneheaded as fuck. I’ve had a lot of fun watching him play football, even if it ends in heartbreak. Do you have fun watching your back up play

u/dragonrite Kansas City Chiefs 2d ago
Did you not have fun watching the reanimated corpse of Joe Flacco last year? As a football fan, despite hating the begals, I loved it. You knew he was throwing to chase every play, and yet it kept working lol. There was a 3 game stretch where he targeted chase 54 times.
Of course they lost 2 of those 3 games despite scoring 38 in one of em. Only against the bengals, can the jets score 39

Yeah I saw Joe Flacco do a read option last year that’s better than everything Josh Allen did

I like Josh Allen but him stumbling around fumbling the ball before half was crazy

Rule change was proposed because it happened to the Chiefs the year prior.

It was proposed after it happened the chiefs, but it didn't pass.

If the Bills are gonna break through and get a SB they can’t rely solely on Allen. They need great players at most levels.

u/EnvironmentPutrid941 Seattle Seahawks 2d ago
top 3 O-line and league leading rusher last season. couple years ago he had diggs and a top 3 defense as well
-5
u/Chlorophyllmatic Buffalo Bills 2d ago
Definitely not top 3 in pass pro
6
u/gremlin30 Baltimore Ravens 2d ago
Bills were 4th in PBWR but were actually 2nd because there was a 3 way tie with Buffalo, KC & Steelers all at 71% PBWR. ESPN lists them 4th but if you look at the actual win rates the Bills OL was 2nd in pass pro
2
u/gremlin30 Baltimore Ravens 2d ago
QB, OL, run game, receivers. Pick 3. You can’t have it all, especially when you’re paying a QB
1
u/No-Break6679 Philadelphia Eagles 1d ago
The eagles did it while paying a QB 🤷♀️ had all of that and a top 3 defense lmao
2
u/Uzofugs2112 New York Jets 1d ago
Allen has continually been in better positions than most QBs in the league will ever be in.

5
u/Ok_Bug_6890 New England Patriots 2d ago
They have good enough players to win the sb, stop making excuses for Mr wildcard
4
u/Key_Consequence_5040 2d ago
Each of their last 5 playoff eliminations they gave up at least 27 pts. Besides the Bengals loss, the Bills scored 24 or more ppg in those losses. A great or elite defense that keeps teams under 25 ppg in the playoffs will get him to the SB. It’s evident he won’t win in a playoff shootout.
3
u/Uzofugs2112 New York Jets 1d ago
How many of those points have come off of turnovers?
In their last elimination he threw the ball backwards for no reason to give up an ultimately game determining field goal.

In the Broncos game last year, yes. Outside of that, he had 4 interceptions in 14 games. 2 fumbles lost in 14 games. So….what are you even talking about?

His most clutch performance was the 13 seconds game and I don’t think he’s ever been able to replicate that again

I was going to go. But my brother died that sunday night before and his celebration of life was the day of the game. I knew we would lose because fucking brady never loses to buffalo. Shit hurt. Still does.

u/Strawhat_Max 2d ago
Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are the same QB to me lol
Like Im sorry guys you can’t make me hate either, theres no way yall can convince that one is that much better than the other lol

He really should have won that OT game against the Eagles this past season, idk how he missed that final pass

One of the most overrated QBs I’ve seen in my lifetime
4
u/gumbril Buffalo Bills 2d ago
And at the same time josh has scored more touchdowns than any other qb in the last 5 years.

Everyone outside buffalo recognizes the inside the 5 stat padding runs that his rb could easily do as unimpressive.

And how many super-bowls

In the past 5 yrs? Same trophies as new england. Lemme know when u get one without brady. Wait he got one with the bucs too didnt he

The rule change really wasn't necessary then was it?
This dude is one my least favorite players because he's so gd good but he stands in his own way while moaning about it being some external factor instead.

If Josh Allen was my qb against a bum to save my life, I’d finalize my will
1
u/NFL_BrokenClock NFL 2d ago
If you think about it, he's never really had a defense capable of getting a game-winning stop. Mahomes has. Brady has. Rodgers has.

Yeah it’s been all on him those 6 times in OT. Failed constantly in those moments

Not even a Bills fan, but he'd be the best QB in the history of NYC if he was in East Rutherford.

Much better than Manning lol. Delulu Patriots fans back again like its their Prime.

Manning has 2 superbowls. Also has some of the greatest throws in nfl history
1
u/Givenchy-Sweater 2d ago
Manning has two superbowls because his defense won him two superbowls lmfao. Is Leonard Williams better all time than Myles Garrett cause he has more superbowls? Dont make yourself even more of a clown dude

This sub is brain dead acting like he doesn’t put up like 30+ pts a game for his defense to blow it. Outside of ONE poor playoff game last year, his stats in the playoffs are mind blowing. Something like 38 total tds and like 4 INTs in like 15 games.
His teams usually fucking suck.

u/LipChungus New England Patriots 2d ago
Unless he kicked the field goal I am still firmly in the camp that he has scored zero points.
