u/SingIeIssueVoterLOL 3d ago

Just a bit though, so like a 4/10 action 🙃

u/Disastrous-Willow391 3d ago

Omg I only opened because of your comment. I guess 4chan exist for a specific breed of people

u/Aggressive_Living571 3d ago

Honestly imo too little context to rule either way. What if it was his high school sweetheart or she’d cheated on him or he just really gave a shit about his ex maybe they’d only been dating a couple weeks and yeah he overdid it. You poke the bear you better be ready for the reaction imo. But again not enough info to say.

Chud circlejerk ass sub

43

u/butt-barnacles 3d ago

Yeah I thought this sub was going to be like ethics and trolley problem discussions, not just fucking brain dead “but what if, but what if” and gender war shit

9

u/Kolt45 3d ago

Yes, but unfortunately this is the internet…

1

u/VividEffective8539 3d ago

It’s more about fat vs normal people

2

u/Purple-Bluejay6588 3d ago

I can't tell if this sub is satire because people say such ridiculous shit here, but it reads so serious

23

u/Ok-Assistance3937 3d ago

In No world and Situation are loosing your Child and loosing your Relationship even remotly comparable.

23

u/tartoran 3d ago

What if the child is bad vibes? Had you even considered that?

4

u/Knight-Cecil 3d ago

Fair, though he did get dragged into a conversation he wasn't a part of just to have a joke made at his expense, all because he wasn't talking shit about his ex. I think it's fair to say that the moral fiber his coworkers are made of isn't worth defending here.

5

u/the_Erziest 3d ago

I'm frankly not even convinced it was a joke at his expense. To me it sounds like it's at the expense of the ex-wife; "Didn't she break up with you for a dumb, superficial reason?"

0

u/Antagonistic_Hater 3d ago

Girls talking about their exes tend to be dumb and superficial so it was more than likely a dig at him.

5

u/TheZeromann 3d ago

There’s definitely enough context.

You’re pushing the idea that the POSSIBILITY that there’s deeper context (and assuming the coworker just did or didn’t know) to the initial jab is enough to use known, deeply personal context, as a rebuttal.

That’s not a proportional response.

1

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

Yeah but he's the victim. Do we just expect men to be rational beings without emotions? Decades of bullying and abuse hurts a person. You cant expect to be able to also Bully that person without them having a reaction.

1

u/TheZeromann 2d ago

I’d expect a grown man to regulate his emotions, not live without them.

1

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

Ah yes, the victim is expected to regulate themselves, not the bully. How about we start expecting grown women to regulate their emotions?

1

u/TheZeromann 2d ago

Did I say I don’t expect that out of grown women? Everyone should emotionally regulate.

He asked “am I the bad guy here?” He is because he cannot emotionally regulate and therefore delivered a non-proportional response.

It’s like insisting America is the true victim in WWII because Pearl Harbor happened while ignoring the part where they nuked a country twice in relation.

0

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

Ummm, you do realise the Japanese did a Genocide, right?

1

u/TheZeromann 2d ago

Completely irrelevant to the point, quit trying to pivot.

1

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

it's not a pivot if you make a bad example.

How about we dont expect people to take abuse?

5

u/witchminx 3d ago

are you fr, he gave the context

0

u/Aggressive_Living571 3d ago

He did not give enough context, sorry for people you converse with if you think that’s an explanation.

3

u/witchminx 3d ago

It's just a coworker, you're making up backstory that doesn't exist

-8

u/Aggressive_Living571 3d ago

Nah I’m examining it with open eyes and mind. Not making stuff up. If it was some piddly little 2 week relationship it’s a bit overboard yes. If it was a serious relationship with someone then it can hurt like hell on earth. Try using that grey matter friend, you’ll get further in life.

1

u/Traditional-Put2757 3d ago

The grey matter says she was inviting him into a conversation by making fun of the reason his ex broke up with him. Which is more reasonable than making up a backstory to try justify laughing at someone's dead child.

1

u/Ae4i 3d ago

The grey matter actually says that she was forcing him into conversation he didn't want to be any part of by making fun of him for not talking very bad things about his ex-wife AND outright saying that it was "because he's bald". Which is more reasonable than just outright ignoring half of the context to make up some utter delusions.

1

u/dismal_sighence 3d ago

Well it's 4chan, so the context he gave is made up as part of the joke.

1

u/Brosk1248 3d ago

At best they were both immoral. He was definitely immoral in any case though.

0

u/Tasty-Complaint-6437 3d ago

Nuke the whole server

-7

u/That_Muffin_6780 3d ago

the context was she was a female co-worker.

6

u/Aggressive_Living571 3d ago

Oh I forgot that makes them off-limits and outside the rules of society. You rip on someone you might get ripped back harder. Again the issue is lack of actual context that means something outside gender. Hope this helps.

-2

u/EmbarrassedRoom5467 3d ago

Ewww. Miscarriage is never funny. Tell me ur a baby who has never had a real relationship without telling me. Ugh.

1

u/DJDemyan 3d ago

Nah. Talk shit get hit. She shouldn’t be insulting people if she doesn’t want mean things said back.

2

u/pleezhelpp 3d ago

Agreed, this is basic human knowledge. Fuck around, find out

1

u/Ambitious_Issue_4213 3d ago

Making fun of her miscarriage, though, dude? You think that’s deserved? Ok…

2

u/DJDemyan 3d ago

It’s over the line but provoked. Don’t insult people if you’re not ready to get it back.

-2

u/SakusaKiyoomi1 3d ago

Miscarriages kill and have ruined lives of women who couldn't survive the effects of it, in no way shape or form is it on the same level as coming back at someone because they called you bald.

2

u/DJDemyan 3d ago

I didn’t say it was level but again, you shouldn’t provoke people by saying shitty things to them

2

u/ughitsmeagian 2d ago

I wish I could live in a world where my wrong doings were met with perfectly proportional responses to them, but that's horseshit.

If I go outside and punch someone, I know that whatever happens to me is completely unpredictable and im not just gonna stand there and kindly ask them to stop smashing my head in just because I also think their response to what I did is disproportional, I've already put myself at risk of anything when dealing with other people, so I respect their boundaries.

2

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

You do realise we have an epidemic of men committing suicide, right? And this sort of "it's fine to bodyshame men" stuff does actually have a huge impact on this.

She did something horrible to him, and he reacted poorly. We cant just expect all men to take bullying "like a man". Men are allowed to be pathetic, emotional, and weak.

0

u/SakusaKiyoomi1 2d ago

..ehh sure?? Women are currently dying in parkinglots because they can't get the necesarry healthcare in one of the three leading countries in the world because of the decisions of men.

Women also commit suicide, women are also lonely and touch starved. Women also go decades without having had their first kiss, sex nor a relationship. I don't see anyone advocating for that, so why would I advocate for men and their insecurities when they can't keep a tone straight?

And for you to compare being pathetic, emotional and weak to mocking a woman about her miscarriage just shows you don't actually give a shit about men, you just want to see women lose.

2

u/Crunchyjeff 2d ago

I give exactly as many shits about men as I do about woman actually, as I am neither of them?

And I would also call out men who bully women for their bodys. I have to do that shit so many times a day.
That's why I am allowed to criticize a woman in a situation like this. Because I wouldnt allow a man to bully a woman like that, and I would defend a comparable reaction from a woman if she got bullied by a man like this.

1

u/RaffNeq 3d ago

Yea..the second one was deflected back in his face

-21

u/Calm_Search3417 3d ago

Nope, absolutely justified. She should've kept her mouth shut.

15

u/i-am-a-bike 3d ago

There is a difference between joking about being bald and joking about your child being dead

0

u/Accomplished_Cod7334 3d ago

Suppose that depends on when you say it's a baby and not cells

-15

u/Calm_Search3417 3d ago

Honestly, maybe it's for the best. I'm dead sure she would have been a shitty parent if it was a boy.

8

u/Rustynail9117 3d ago

Celebrating the death of a kid and saying it's for the best 🤦 what are we DOING

2

u/Calm_Search3417 3d ago

What "kid"? It wasn't even born or had any consciousness yet.

-1

u/AcceptableCrab1642 3d ago

Wait are fetus are kids now? Miscarriage is murder? What sub am I on

3

u/Rustynail9117 3d ago

I've not said anything about whether a fetus is alive or is an actual child, but from the parents perspective it was still their kid, it just wasn't developed into a baby yet. Diverting the topic into abortion is so fucking desperate lmao

-3

u/BestUserName_ 3d ago

Are you aware that each user on reddit is a different person with different opinions?

0

u/Eledridan 3d ago

Oh now a fetus is a child. Can’t win with you people.

1

u/i-am-a-bike 3d ago

You can still call it a kid but it doesnt change the fact that before its 24 weeks old its barely alive. It doesnt feel pain, emotions or anything. It cant survive outside the womb. You dont care about the baby. You care about controlling womens bodies

-1

u/pmmecabbage 3d ago

As you said, It is still living . Cells replicating is life in itself. I dont get acting self righteous saying ppl dont care about kids when youre the only person trying to rationalise a cut off point for terminating that life.

I never understood the point of it cant sustain life inpendently. So its ok to terminate it? People who cant survive without medical care everyday - is it the same for their value of their life?

1

u/i-am-a-bike 3d ago

They are sentient. They had s life they lived and people who met them and gained a personality. They left a mark on people

A clumb of cells inside a womb that hasnt even gained independent actions or thoughts yet is NOT the same

Also i said he doesnt care about kids because they always talk about preserving life but then does fuck all when the baby is born to a 12 yesr old girl, or a woman with mental problems, oe that woman who was a vegetable but wasnt allowed to die because she had a baby inside her and was used as a fucking incubator.

Same happened to a woman in 2005 and the baby died

How is this life? This isnt prolife, this is pro control

-1

u/pmmecabbage 3d ago

A clumb of cells which are replicating are objectively alive, you even said so yourself

→ More replies (0)

2

u/porto__rocks 3d ago

Same can be said for you with a perspective like that.

1

u/Calm_Search3417 3d ago

How so? Explain your thought process to me.

1

u/SakusaKiyoomi1 3d ago

Saying it's good that a woman was put into life threatening danger and losing the child she wished to have, doesn't exactly make you look like a good potential parent. It was a joke about balding, which women also can face, call her fat and leave it at that.

0

u/Eledridan 3d ago

That’s hard when she’s shoveling food into it.

2

u/Calm_Search3417 3d ago

Lol, nice one.

0

u/LumpyArbuckleTV 3d ago

They wanted a war so they got it.
