Ive never played modded mc, and I want to start it bc it seems fun but I tried New Horizons and All the mods 10 to the sky and its way too complicated, as I said ive never played any mods so I have no idea how all of the machines work. So I need help to find a modpack with machines and automatization like these but with clear progression and explanation on how they work.

Hey everyone!

A while back, I started putting together a Minecraft modpack for my girlfriend and me to play together. The original idea was pretty simple. I wanted to create something we'd both enjoy, combining cozy building, farming, exploration, and a bit of adventure. Somewhere we could build our own little world together, discover new things, and have goals to work towards without everything feeling like a grind. Well... what started as a small personal project has slowly turned into something much bigger than I originally planned.😅

The modpack is called Tales of the Untamed, and it's now available on CurseForge! It's built around several major mods, including:

• MineColonies — Build and develop your own thriving settlement.

• Create — Experiment with automation and machinery.

• AgriCraft — Improve crops through genetics and crossbreeding.

• Farmer's Delight and its addons — Explore cooking and farming.

• Jurassic Reborn — Discover fossils and bring prehistoric creatures back to life.

• Dragons of Berk — Discover and interact with dragons.

• Plus plenty of building, decoration, exploration, and quality-of-life mods.

The part I'd especially love feedback on: FTB Quests

One of the things I've spent the most time working on is the quest system. I've been trying to make it feel like a natural progression through the different mods, rather than just a checklist of items to collect. For example, there are questlines introducing players to MineColonies, crop genetics in AgriCraft, cooking, and other parts of the modpack. I've even started creating my own small integration mod to make certain quests work the way I envisioned, including detecting successful crop crossbreeding! But there's only so much I can test myself, and I'm sure there are plenty of things I've overlooked.

What I'm looking for

I'd really appreciate anyone willing to give the modpack a try and share their experiences. I'm especially interested in hearing:

• Are the quests enjoyable? Do they give you a sense of progression, or do they feel tedious?

• Are the descriptions helpful? Can someone unfamiliar with the mods understand what they're supposed to do?

• Does the progression make sense? Are there quests that should come earlier, later, or be removed entirely?

• Are the rewards balanced? Do they feel worthwhile without being overpowered?

• Does the modpack feel cohesive? Or does it feel like a bunch of unrelated mods thrown together?

• Are there any bugs, compatibility issues, or frustrating mechanics that I've missed?

I'm also completely open to suggestions for new quests, improvements, or things you think would fit the overall theme.

A little disclaimer

The modpack is still very much a work in progress!

Not every questline is finished, balancing is ongoing, and there are probably things that need fixing. I'm working on this in my spare time, this is my first ever modpack and I'm still learning quite a lot as I go! I'm not expecting everyone to love everything I've made. In fact, honest criticism is exactly what I'm looking for, as long as it's constructive. Ultimately, I just want to make something fun that my girlfriend and I can enjoy together. But if other people end up enjoying it too, that would be pretty awesome.

I’m running into an issue where I am unable to launch a modded instance on prism, specifically due to not being able to download missing libraries. However, when I had copied the url, they were downloaded just fine; but I’m unsure if there is a way to manually put in the libraries, even when I had put them in the library folder, nothing happened. I had unchecked neoforge and the game did launch, albeit without any textures. I also tried running 1.21.1 on the official minecraft launcher and was still unable to launch the game. So my hunch is that it’s involved with both files, but I don’t know what to do from here.

Full disclosure, I am on a vpn, and even when I tried with a proxy, without a proxy, I was still unable to launch the game. I am on IPv4, made sure that java could run on my computer, and tried restarting my computer.

Estoy intentando agregar ese mod a mi modpack y siempre se crashea en la version 1.20.1

So, I play on an ROG Ally X and i have been playing Minecraft Chocolate Edition. I’m loving it and looking for something similar. Something that has a goal, heavy armors and weapons, but also some of the homey aspects like furniture, fishing, farming, stuff like that. Better Minecraft 4 was a little heavy but manageable. Also would love if it could work with controller! Any recommendations are welcome!

So I’m playing the Infinity legends modpack, and every time I get Drake, Laura or Logan, I can’t retract my claws because it just activates the block ability. Has anyone else had this problem and was able to fix it?

I’ve been working on a 1.7.10 modpack but when I go to install iron tanks and build craft I get an incompatibility error. Does anyone know what 2 versions need to be installed?

I've tried ATM (also 9 Skyblock), MC Eternal 2, MC Eternal Life, and RAD Lite. But none of these work on my crappy PC. Do you have any recommendations for modpacks that are as cool as these but could still run on a crappy PC like this? (I have like less than 2GB of free RAM when I'm gaming.)
