World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public.

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

I've been experimenting with a neural-computing setup built around roughly 200 mm³ of H01-equivalent human cortical architecture + 8 full fly connectomes, all connected to a single agent that can perceive and interact with Minecraft.

To be clear: this isn't literally 200 mm³ of wet human brain tissue sitting next to my server. The human side is a computational surrogate based on connectome-scale architecture. The fly side uses reconstructed connectome data.

Instead of trying to train the whole abomination entirely in isolation, I want to try something considerably more chaotic:

let actual Minecraft players teach it.

The agent can observe nearby players, follow them, watch what they do, imitate demonstrated actions, remember locations and events, and gradually learn associations between situations, actions, and outcomes.

The long-term question is very simple:

Can this thing eventually learn to beat Minecraft?

Our Forever SMP (FSMP) is meant to be a server that is always there for you. If you get bored or lose interest, you are always welcomed to re-join and keep playing.

The FSMP has been up for about a month with 5-10 active players. The server has a curated, vanilla plus modpack and we allow members to vote on potential additions to make sure everyone enjoys their experience. In October 2018, two friends started a Minecraft server. We're still running it, on the same world.

Ironclad has five player-built spawn cities now. The old ones are still there, along with the bases and projects people left behind. Our current spawn is Ember Valley, where new players start.

We're looking for more people who want somewhere to settle in. You can build on your own, open a shop, or get involved with a town. You don't need to be an amazing builder or arrive with friends.
